This is a new destination for my wife and I. We tend to like good tex mex and gave this a try. It was nice to be there when it was still relatively quiet; it does tend to get busy. Chips and salsa start you off. Complimentary too! Generous with refills on them as well. We went ahead and ordered the queso to enhance the chips which was a solid choice. Dinner portions were generous and we were stuffed by the end of it. They have dessert offerings but we were too full! My fajitas were delicious with all the fixins. Bacon wrapped shrimp was a nice touch! My wife had the combo plate which the enjoyed. Great for a casual date night if you're in the mood for the cuisine. Something else I've become mindful of is if the service feels rushed, which didn't here. I've had not too bad meals here, but my most recent one left a funky taste in my mouth. the staff is very kind, and the manager did check on us during the night. However, we had the watermelon margaritas (marg of the month) which ended up being very watered down. the chips we received were super flimsy and difficult to enjoy the dips with. the guac and salsa were not bad, however we ordered queso blanco and were given plain queso which would've been fine, had the queso not harden once you leave it alone for more than 5 seconds. Our meals were also mid, not super bad but not worth the price. Being that this location is so close to me, maybe I'll go back and have a better experience but for now, would say there might be better American Tex mex options around town. read more

I love this place, the food and drinks are super good and the prices are pretty good, too. So far I've had the shrimp fajitas (so good), a few of the bowls, and several appetizers, all good. The best part is if you order the guac they come out and make it in front of you with whatever toppings you want to add or leave out. I absolutely love the decor and design of the restaurant, very clean, cozy, and a bit swanky. The tables have good spacing so you're not right on top of other people. It's located inside the Bridgewater Mall, so you can also walk around before or after eating. I haven't had any issues with service or wait staff. The sides were potato wedges and elote(which had so much lime juice and spice that it was inedible). the server sympathized with us and when the manager came over, she reassured us that that was in fact how many ribs came with the order. This is not worth $25 and we told her it should be advertised that the rib entree special does not come with nearly enough ribs for an entree especially for the price. It also did not make sense because there was an option on the menu to order a quarter rack of ribs (the amount that I was served) for only $7. I decided to check this place out over the weekend. I've never been here but heard good things. I came on a Sunday around 1:45pm, and there was no wait. I got the 'Mango Passion Lemonade' which was SO refreshing! My husband got the 'Cranberry Apple Margarita' which was their current special. He loved it. I do not like margaritas but I tried a sip and it was actually really good! We were also given a huge bowl of chips and 2 salsas. The chips were typical but the salsas were tasted very fresh and just had such good flavor. For our appetizer, we got the 'Bacon Wrapped Honey Habanero Shrimp' which were very spicy but also very delicious. I wish they gave more than just 4 shrimp and the sauce on it was incredible. I would want to take a jar of that sauce home. For our entrees, my husband got the 'Tex-Mex Combo' which was a beef enchilada, chicken enchilada and 1 crispy taco. He didn't care much for the crispy taco but he enjoyed the rest of his dish which was very filling. I ordered the 'Chicken Tortilla Bowl' which was chicken with rice, corn, black beans, peppers, onions, avocado. It was good. It wasn't my favorite and probably wouldn't get it again but it was decent. Our service was super attentive and the prices were fairly reasonable. I paid $80 (that's including tip). I would like to try this place again and try something different. My husband who LOVES Mexican food way more than I do would 100% come back. read more

This is a fancy tex mex spot in the middle of bridgewater mall. They start you with chips and salsa which seemed fresh but could have been spicier. The sangria was sweet and not too strong. The guacamole was not tableside and lacked alot of spice. We got 2 kids' meals, which were HUGE! They come in a bento box like a plate. It offers an entree, chips, and a queso/ guac and a wide selection of sides to choose from. I ended up getting the chicken fajita. It was well seasoned, a large portion size, and came with ample sides. The cheese and onion enchiladas were also very tasty and definitely had a tex mex taste. The only issue I had was the service! Stopped by the other day and had a wonderful time. Our server was super attentive and very detailed with providing an explanation of the menu. Gave us pointers and made the experience of dining in really great. They dropped off a complimentary basket of chips and salsa which was delicious. We had to hold ourselves back from eating too much and filling up before the meal came. We ordered guacamole made to prepare and it was the freshest guac I've ever tasted. My boyfriend agreed. I have had the unfortunate pleasure to dine here twice and BOTH experiences were terrible. First of all, the servers and food runners are lethargic in their attitude and mannerisms. They don't care and it shows. Secondly, I've ordered the same dish for both experiences the, the Skirt Steak Fajitas for two. On both times the food came out room temperature, the hot plate wasn't sizzling at all. The onions and peppers were not cooked and it was just disappointing. The only reason I am not giving 1 star is because this time around the manager let us walk out without paying for our drinks, which is what we wanted to do. The restaurant has a very nice ambiance and the staff were attentive and helpful, which is a big plus. Good: Margaritas - 5/5. We got the Tres Amigos and the El Jefe. Both were perfectly made and very refreshing! El Jefe comes in a shaker so it's nearly 2 servings of margarita. Rice & Beans - 4.5/5. Also excellent and very flavorful! Not so good: Guacamole - 3/5. It was fine, but tasted like it was store bought. Lacked freshness and depth of flavor. Baja Fish Tacos - 2.5/5. The fish was incredibly salty and dry. The toppings were yummy which made the taco more palatable (delicious avocado cream), but the fish itself had a lot of room for improvement and made the meal unenjoyable. Chicken Tacos - 1.5/5. Chicken was similar to fish- incredibly salty and dry. Virtually no seasoning except salt. The toppings couldn't help the taco. Taco Bell has better tacos. I went to Uncle Julio's when they first opened a couple of years ago. We liked it a lot, and their fajitas were the best I had ever had, bar none. Their secret ingredient was butter - and it really was magical. Fast forward to last night, and things have gone down in a big way. Service was subpar, but in this age of post-Covid employee struggles that is to be expected to some extent. I would not hold that against a restaurant like I normally might. However, in this case, a waiter spilled an entire margarita down the back of my girlfriend - like a complete soaking. Barely an apology was given. A manager comes over and hands her a stack of paper cocktail napkins, and then exits saying he would get her another drink. No offers were made for a complimentary drink, appetizer, dessert, dry cleaning bill...nothing. The food was subpar and disappointing. The fajitas were dry, not even close to our last visit. A new "barbacoa " beef (slow cooked and flavorful, they promised) was on the menu, which I tried. It was tender, but bland - like pot roast without gravy. And with this version of fajitas, they don't give you sour cream, guacamole or pica de gallo. When I asked for that, they advised that would cost extra (put it against the dry cleaning tab). The rice and beans were equally as bland. Diner grade fajitas, with no disrespect to diners. We also had a shrimp appetizer, advertised as shrimp wrapped in bacon with a hot pepper sauce. There really should be more of a warning, because these things were hotter than the hottest wings you can order anywhere. I think the plate melted. If you are into the ghost pepper chip challenge, these are the shrimp for you. Probably not for 98% of the public, though. Last - and i hate to be the hygiene police - but the ceiling had hanging dust bunnies all over, especially over the open kitchen meal prep area. Don't believe me? I took pictures. They hung like strands from last Halloween's decorations. You also have to consider that this is not an inexpensive restaurant. That Margarita that they served my girlfriends dress was $13. Fajitas are $22 to $32, depending on which option. The overall level of quality was OK. Nothing was horrible. But everything was far from great. The apathy was palpable. This is a shopping mall restaurant in decline. Kind of a shame. read more

I do know I have been here at least a dozen times since they opened and every single meal was just so fresh and awesome. It's been a few months since my last visit but tonight all of my family's meals tasted like frozen dinners and void of any flavor. We all ordered the exact same meals we get every single other time. I personally got the Mexican Combo. Everything was completely different tonight and all of us immediately noticed the difference.
