We weren't greeted by a host/hostess and I'm pretty sure the guy who finally sat us after 10 minutes of waiting, was a server or busboy. Our waitress brought us chips, salsa and drinks and took our order. We never saw her again. Of course, there was a food runner which were used to, but our waitress never showed up again. Our drinks sat empty for a long time until my husband finally got up to go to the host stand to ask for water and for a manager where he explained our food had gotten cold while waiting for a refill. She did take off half the bill, but unfortunately it still happened. I'd like to also mention our server wasn't busy. Her section wasn't full. I think maybe one other table was there. As we were paying she did resurface to the neighboring table, but we were ignored. We left hungry and with a promise will never return. A side note that my husband plate had a massive avocado pit on it in place of the avocado that was supposed to come to him.

Great experience. Food was great and the waitress was nice. We had a large party of 9. The waitress checked in as needed and was very nice to everyone. Even though we had a larger party, they did not add gratuity to the check, which was a huge plus. There was a great buy one get one fajita deal on the night we went (Tuesday) and they also had a great taco deal for 2 or more people. We had churros for desert and they were amazing. They had filling in the middle and came with caramel and chocolate to dip in, plus, there were a lot of them. Only complaints are that I asked for no onions and there were a ton in my fajita bowl. Also, the price of the fajita bowl was $17 and that seems like a bit much to me. They had a pretty pricey menu.

They were stuffed with tender meat and were not excessively greasy. They come with onion and cilantro and three different salsas. Kind of embarrassed to say I ate it all but I couldn't help it. Service was friendly although they gave my plate to the person next to me, they went back and brought me my food fairly quickly. The horchata was also very good.

It's easily our favorite place for anything birria. From the birria pizza to the tacos, everything is incredible. The dipping consomé is seriously to die for, and the meat is cooked to absolute perfection. The service is great, and the Chicano art painted throughout the restaurant gives the whole place such a cool, authentic vibe. We always share the combo because you get a little bit of everything, and trust me, it will definitely fill you up. Seriously, get it. This is our number one taco spot in DFW, and after your first visit, it might be yours too.

What is not to love? As we're celebrating our 55th anniversary this month we were presented with a lovely, complementary sparkly rose. As today is Cinco de Mayo a Margarita was in order and the house pour was lovely. We shared a bottle of California Sauvignon Blanc to accompany the Ceviche Tatemado followed by the Tacos de Barbacoa which is the Tuesday lunch special. Both the ceviche and barbacoa tacos were just so enjoyable. The striped bass and octopus ceviche here is a unique preparation that sings in the tangy lime and Serrano vinaigrette in which it is prepared. The barbacoa is so flavorful and tender; and the thin, house made flour tortilla is fried crispy on the flat top before being filled. So good.

The beans had a lot going on and included ingredients that probably should be mentioned when ordering. She thought the fries were decent, but said the birria tacos were just okay and that she's had much better elsewhere in the area. The service is good and straightforward. You walk up to order, grab a seat, and wait for your buzzer to go off. One thing to note: if you order drinks, keep an eye out for them because they're not brought to your table. As for my meal, I tried the mushroom, shrimp, and pastor tacos. The pastor was underwhelming, and the shrimp was overcooked. The mushroom taco was easily the standout and will definitely be my go-to if I come back. The weather will soon be nice for enjoying the patio, but there's also plenty of indoor seating available.
