    Sweet and sour chicken
    Cathy H.

The service is quick, kind and thoughtful. I just missed the lunch, so I ordered sweet and sour chicken with a side of rice and hot tea. The sauce is definitely homemade and delicious, the vegetables fresh, the only downfall is that they pound the chicken breast way too thin. All I could taste is the breading. I would definitely come back and try a different dish.

Went for lunch. A lot of indoor seating very friendly staff, very clean inside, lot of free street parking nearby. Food was very good and tasty, would come back again. Owner was very friendly and said that they've been open for 40 years.

We arrived Sunday around 7 and parked right out front on the street. The restaurant was Empty. A nice lady greeted us and took our orders. The decor is simple, clean, and welcoming. We came here for the salt and pepper crispy tofu. It's one of my favorite dishes of all time! GET IT! We asked for chicken recommendation and ordered the general tso and a half order of string beans. The tofu was to die for - so crispy and flavorful. The string beans were super yummy with garlic and scallion. The chicken had huge pieces and lots of crispy goodness in a garlicky sweet and spicy sauce. The fortune cookies with the check were also quite tasty. The only downside here is the steep prices. Everything we had was top quality. I'd pay a lot for the tofu and find it worth it :)

Best Chinese in Seattle! Everything is done so well, not super greasy like your typical Chinese meal. Favorite dish is the salt & pepper chicken (not on the menu, secret order!) Their spicy wontons and potstickers are great appetizers. Then we got the lo mein, fried rice, and salt and pepp chicken. Also the sweetest people own this place and have forever! They deserve to be known!

We had a group of 12 come in after the WIAA High School State Championship game on Saturday 12/2. Amy and Mr Lee treated us like family and filled our belly's full of amazing food! What a beautiful family and amazing restaurant! We have been eating at China Village since our boys were little and it was our first time at the new restaurant location. Bravo!!! 5 stars all the way!!

True story...drove an hour and a half for a vasectomy in Sand Point on my Birthday of all days. Found the best yelp rated restaurant in the area. Ordered 4 dishes to go for my post-surgery meals. It was 2 pm so pretty slow in the restaurant, and the owner Uncle Lee greeted me at the door. He laughed at the amount of food I ordered for just me and I explained my situation. He said he gets alot of business from nervous men like me about to have surgery around the block. He welcomed me to sit and drink lots of water while I wait. I asked if the men usually have a drink before the surgery, he said ya I'll make you a strong one and he did. He sat down at the table next to me and we had the best conversation to take my mind off my pending surgery. When he found out it was my birthday also, he offered me another drink on him. I laughed and said I probably shouldn't, so he said I at least need to have a free birthday soup in the to-go bag. The food came and I still had time to kill for surgery. As I went to try the soup out of the to-go bag, he said no that's for your recovery, let me get you a new birthday soup for now. Got me a fresh bowl and it was delicious sweet-sour variation. You can tell the quality ingredients and talent used in the making of this soup. He was concerned that microwaving the food post surgery would diminish some of the dishes so he told me the best way to reheat each dish, and insisted I tried it fresh so I did and it was definitely 5 star Asian food(Chinese/Thai). After talking for 40 minutes and trying samples of his food, he wanted to meet my dogs n my truck I was talking about as he shared about his dogs. He followed me out to my truck around the block with fortune cookies for my dogs and was sooo sweet with them. Had the surgery and just ate the dishes at home and I'm very happy with each meal, the Mongolian beef is tender asf. Perfect spicy too. One of the best Mongolian Beefs I've had to be honest. He gave me extra spicy sauce just in case. Seems like only bad reviews for this place are many years old and from people in a hurry. I urge you to go enjoy not only the great traditional food, but the experience of meeting Uncle Lee and his staff. I will be back someday even though I live an hour and a half away.

It is one of the…read morebest Thai restaurants in Seattle and is certified as Thai Select which certifies its Thai authenticity. They have locations both in Downtown Seattle and Greenlake, but I have only been to their Downtown Seattle location which has a beautiful view of the Puget Sound. The atmosphere is dark, trendy, and modern- perfect for a date night or nice evening out. While they are a white table cloth, sit-down restaurant, you can dress casually or dress up a bit - both are completely acceptable. This most recent visit I ordered the COCONUT PANANG CURRY with chicken ($25.95) and my friend ordered her favorite dish, SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE ($28.95). On a past visit, I've had their CLAY POT SHRIMP & GLASS NOODLES (KOONG OB WOONSEN) ($27.95) which was absolutely fantastic and has had me hooked on Pad Woonsen ever since! I saw the COCONUT PANANG CURRY recently in my Instagram feed and knew I had to get it. It is served in a whole coconut (yes a real, fresh coconut!) and comes with a champagne flute of fresh coconut juice from the coconut they hollowed out and a side of Jasmine rice. The curry was rich, flavorful, and full of Thai basil and peppers. The coconut juice was light and refreshing and a great contrast to the thick curry. The SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE (which I've sampled before), is gigantic, aromatic, and served with a giant grilled garlic butter fillet of salmon on top. The salmon is extremely moist, oily, and bursting with flavor. The rice is fragrant and has garlic paste, red bell pepper, carrots, and green onion. If you're looking for a tasty and protein-packed meal, this is the dish! Parking is honestly tough in this area as it's located on 1st. They have limited street parking and a few paid parking garage options around. I recommend light railing or Ubering here if you're not already in the downtown Seattle area. Service is always great and we always get our food quickly, no matter how crowded they are. The staff also take the time to check up on your table during your meal. Overall: 5/5 for food, 5/5 for service, 5/5 for atmosphere

Time to try it out on a beautiful Spring day in Seattle. It's located close to Pike Place Market so planning a fun day involving these two places was a breeze. The restaurant had a beautiful Thai interior. The chairs we were seated in were not that comfortable, however. Service was efficient and straightforward. We ordered an appetizer and two dishes. The dishes were salmon fried rice and Pad Sei-Iew. I feel bad but we were not that impressed with their food. Fried rice was really salty and Pad Sei-Iew was also on the saltier side. I am not sure if we will return given the lackluster quality of the foods. Perhaps when we have another outing in the downtown area, we might give it a try again to try other dishes.

When entering they had a live keyboardist and singer playing Valerie which I was a fan of. We stopped in at 10pm on a week night and were sat right away and service was prompt and friendly. We chose fried calamari for an appetizer which was super delicious. My boyfriend thought the sauce that came with the calamari was too spicy for his liking but for me it was super sweet and paired perfectly with the calamari. We enjoyed the appetizer thoroughly and I would say it was my favorite part of the meal. My man ordered his favorite Thai dish Panang chicken Curry spice level 1. He said his meal was delicious but big portion so we both took to go our leftovers. I tried the curry and it was super tasty. I ordered my go to prawns Pad Thai and chose spice level 3. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and we were looking forward to the bold flavors we've come to love. The visit started off a bit oddly. The front desk server, Tar, asked to see my wife's ID--even though she's 36 years old and we weren't seated in the bar area. It felt inconsistent, especially since younger guests nearby weren't asked, and it's something we've never experienced at their other locations. Unfortunately, moments like that made us feel singled out, and honestly it sometimes feels like they tend to pick on Asians, whether intentional or not. That feeling alone made the experience uncomfortable and will likely make this our last visit to this location. That said, the table service was excellent. Moo took great care of us, and Cece from the bar was attentive and kept our water filled throughout the meal. Unfortunately, there were a few moments that took away from the experience. While I was taking photos of our dishes, a young staff member alongside Tar appeared to be giggling and mocking me, which made things uncomfortable. It may not have been intentional, but it didn't feel professional and only added to the awkward atmosphere we already felt. Food-wise, there were some inconsistencies. The chicken didn't taste as good as we remember, and several plates had visible fingerprints, which was off-putting. The galvanized metal plates also gave off a slightly unrefined feel--more like cafeteria-style serving ware. Additionally, the sticky rice, which is usually presented in a traditional bamboo basket, was served in a Ziploc bag, which felt like a downgrade in presentation. On a positive note, the papaya salad and pad Thai were still very good and delivered the flavors we expect. We'll continue supporting Isarn, but we'll likely return to the Kirkland or Lynnwood locations next time. Sadly, after this experience, this Queen Anne visit will probably be our last.
