The greatest restaurant in Utah. They deserve a Michelin star they have such quality food. Don't listen to the bad reviews - those are people who like the deep fried sushi and don't understand what real sushi and fresh fish taste like. The best whiskey drink in the state of Utah also. I couldn't recommend more. If Gordon Ramsay ate here he would cry because of the quality and love they put into the food. Other complaints were the cost - not just great but amazing food comes at a cost, they have the freshest fish, freshest ingredients, and best chefs in the game. Oh my gosh so good! I will be returning for the cauliflower. If nothing else! But the experience is a total win! They do everything different here and I love that! Holy shit - The food here is absolutely amazing. The menu is slightly ever-changing, so there is always something new and awesome to try out. They have the perfect balance of GREAT food, pricing, and serving sizes. While the handrolls and sashimi are smaller than what you would find a different sushi restaurant - they are priced very competitively for a much better cut/grade/presentation. The very definition of Quality over quantity - for the same price. Try the Seared Wagyu if you love a rare steak - there will be no regret. The Izakaya menu really is the best bang for your buck. I have had the Fried Cauliflower and Teriyaki Salmon (so far), and they were both worth every penny - and every second spent eating them. The Fried Cauliflower makes you question if you've ever had good Cauliflower before - even contending with the best orange chicken you've ever had. & the Teriyaki Salmon literally had me tear up from how delicious it was. The cocktails were amazing and unique before, but their new bartender Haylee has taken it to the next level. The Lychee Gin Fizz is a delightfully refreshing drink, that is just so bright tasting and BEAUTIFUL. I never give bad reviews but this place deserves one. We saw an advertisement that this was a newer place and so we decided to try it. On a Saturday night, no one was in there except one other table at 6pm. The food was bland and boring and does not justify the price. There are super basic LONG sushi rolls that are not cut individually so sharing is out. The rolls are plain - 3 ingredients only of rice, sushi paper and fish. The sushi paper on all rolls is on the outside so biting into a 6 inch roll sticks terribly to your lips. There are several items featured on Yelp pics and Google pics that they don't even offer anymore. They are also out of items on their very limited menu. I spent $15 on the tiniest 2 items and left hungry. The tacos are max- 3 bites. We will never eat here again. read more

Great service, wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, more fresh than anywhere else I have found in Utah! Be aware that the price is a bit higher than some other places but well worth it. So we were super excited to go here after seeing multiple people take about it on Utah food tik toks. Honestly it was mediocre to be generous. Their hand rolls were a decent price but if they were cut like most sushi rolls it would be about 2 and a half pieces. The yellowfin my boyfriend and i got was some of the most fishy tasting fish we have ever tasted. They just got their liquor license but only sell 3 options of sake that are all cold. Which is pretty confusing considering most sake people like is hot sake. Over all spent 75 dollars on 5 hand rolls, a 4oz glass of cold sake and an appetizer. And left starving still! read more
