I've always driven past Uneeda Burger when in Fremont, so I'm glad I was able to finally check it out the other night! Right on Fremont ave, parking is always a bit of a hassle but you're normally able to find street parking either in front or in the neighborhoods to the side! They also have a small parking lot but it was full by the time my friends and I got there. The restaurant itself had ample seating. and service was both fast and friendly! After working out with my friends we were all craving a nice juicy burger - I'm glad to say that Uneeda Burger definitely delivered that! Both my friends ordered the mushroom burger with bacon and they loved it! I'm not a mushroom guy so I ordered the big star - it was FILLED with crispy onions, coleslaw, and the patty was perfectly cooked. Bonus points for whatever type of bread they use for their buns cause those were so good! Unfortunately, there were a few disappointments with our meal. Sharing both the hand-cut fries and onion rings, these were definitely not worth it. Our fries came out cold, and the fries we got were the small nubs so it didn't feel like we were really getting any real fries. The onion rings too, had a much thicker coating than I'm used to (my friend compared them to funnel cakes), and didn't have that nice crisp that I normally expect from an onion ring. Bacon was also very well cooked alongside being some big, fatty pieces. Red onion jam has delicious caramelized onions! Price is a bit higher though. Big Star - a classic burger with a big fat chili pepper pinned at the top, the entire burger is stuffed and falls apart with all the goodness. Another blast of flavors that's creamy and sweet but at a cheaper price. Fries - huge portion but weren't that good. Not crispy, slightly soggy, and barely salted. One suggestion is to add some type of greens, potentially arugula, to add to the experience, but overall it was a great burger. It was also really juicy without it being sloppy or drippy, which I love. The potato fries were good too. I wasn't a huge fan of their sauce they provided, which seemed really heavy on the mayo, so I would recommend another sauce or just using plain ketchup. I ordered online for pickup and it took less than 20 min from when I placed my order and went in to pick it up. I tried the salmon burger and a salad with some fries and cheese curds. The cheese curds tasted so good with the habanero mayo. Although I like that some of the fries were on the super crispy side but also felt a little lackluster compared to the cheese curds. The salmon burger was a filet of grilled salmon and the sauce on it paired really well and made it juicier. Towards the end, the filet got thinner so it was mostly the bun you tasted in a bite. We got the big star and the mushroom with the fries and the tempura chicken strips. Honestly, the one dish I was surprised by was the tempura chicken strips. If you are going to try this place, go for the cheese curds. They're battered lightly and salted well plus they have a lot of fun dipping sauces to eat them with. However, everything else we tried on the menu was disappointing. I got the buffalo chicken sammy which was cooked well and smothered in Frank's red hot sauce but that and the burger were overpowered by the massive buns. For me, the protein should really be the star of the show (and the beef and chicken were both really good), they just gotta work on the ratios here. And don't get me started on how boring and unseasoned the french fries were. They do have a nice space with a great outdoor patio for warmer days. Yesterday a small gang of us who have been friends since the first grade (and we're all mid-70's now) went to Uneeda for lunch together. They were slammed -- with only one server working. He was taking orders, answering the phone, changing kegs and bringing completed orders out to customers -- and he was 100% cheerful, calm and friendly. Big wow to him! So I heard about this place from a Instagram post from a foodie I follow in Seattle. I am so glad we made this our lunch destination. First off their burgers are amazing, fresh ingredients and dripping with juices. My daughter had the blue onion burger, and I had the classic as a double. For sides we got french fries and onion rings, both were phenomenal. I highly recommend the BBQ sauce for dipping, it was one of the best BBQ sauces I have ever had in my life. I really enjoyed the atmosphere the place had too. It felt welcoming and like the kind of place you would want to hang out with friends. The problem with finding a place this good is that I live so far away it is impossible to make this a regular destination for me, that being said it is something I will be remembering and next time I am rolling through Seattle, stopping in for a bite. read more

The parking can be annoying but we found some very close parallel parking this time. They have an (uncovered) outside area (dog-friendly) but if it starts raining, they are seemingly comfortable with dogs coming inside. I would just always ask first. Their fryers are gluten free which is amazing. We tried both the onion rings and the sweet potato fries. I thought the onion rings were significantly superior. I didn't love any of the sauces which was kind of a bummer. The ranch was good with the onion rings. We tried both aiolis as well, and I didn't like either one. This is a great spot for burgers. I love that the location focuses on making burgers and therefore their menu is large but not overwhelming. I highly recommend the "Big Bison" burger. It comes with red onion jam, bacon, Beecher's cheddar, house sauce. I have tried their onions rings, fries, and sweet potatoe fries. I was not a fan of the onion rings but I loved the sweet potatoe fries. The food comes in a good portion and is filling. I usually eat one burger and my boyfriend eats two burgers. Tip: Make sure to order your sauces when you order your food. The sauces are extra and you have to pay for them.
