Extremely underwhelming!! Came because of the 4.9 stars... nothing has 4.9 nothing else even had 4.7... I expected my socks to be blown clean off! That is not at all what happened... pure mediocre. Denny's has better burgers and fries. All fast food places have better burgers and fries. This place was pure MEH. Burger was a 4 or 5 out of ten, fries were a 1, couldn't even finish them, sauces were no good, sodas come in a can, my bill for me my gf and son was 70$ for a burger and fry each and it was nothing special. If my bill for the 3 of us was $15 I would still never com back... clearly must be bots or paid for reviews. I can't imagine anyone in their right mind rating this place 5 out of 5, extremely misleading. read more

Staying in Seattle for the week and stopped by here after being on campus! The interior is clean with plentiful seating. Not sure about parking since we walked over. Service was very friendly and more than willing to answer any questions we had about the menu. You can order yourself with the machine or order with the worker. I had the bacon stack burger which had two patties and bacon, onions, lettuce, tomato, cheese and their sauce (asked for no pickles). For a $12 burger, it was pretty good! Their sauce was rather on the lighter side taste-wise. Personally, I prefer more of a thicker or stronger sauce. Curly fries were also very good! Priced at just under $7. Total came out to $20.09. Friends enjoyed the shroom stack burger as well. The burgers all came in bags with their shake and stack stickers on the outside, which you actually seem to be able to take off and stick elsewhere if you wanted. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised. I would definitely come back to try something else if I'm ever in the city again! read more

The food here was great, as was the service! Pricing isn't too bad and it's a hip feeling place. My only complaint was that at the time we visited in the afternoon, we were the only people in the restaurant, and the music was entirely too loud. Just to the point where we had to talk over it and strain to hear. I'm sure the employees were jamming out, and the music choice wasn't bad, but the volume needed to be lowered. read more

First time here, clean bright ambiance. Friendly staff very helpful. My partner had the impossible supreme with cookie butter milkshake, I had the double stack with a chocolate milkshake, and our daughter had a cheeseburger and a vanilla milkshake. I actually like this place and it's more or less a good value. But I genuinely believe the patties may be either frozen, or pre cooked. Always a bit rubbery. Tasty, but I used to put it down to me ordering ahead and them just not being fresh when I got here. Now I'm not so sure. And I'm 100% positive a lot of the sides ARE frozen - the Jalapeno poppers for example are basically QFC level. Fine but not "good" Buns, produce, sauces etc are fine. Hidden Gem Alert! Stack and Shake in the college area is seriously one of the best-kept secrets around. The customer service is super friendly -- you can really tell they care about their customers. All I wanted was a honey lavender milkshake. I'm pregnant and it's the only thing that I've been wanting. I received an Oreo milkshake instead and it's kinda decent but I tried to call them to see if they potentially mixed up the order but there's no phone number available. I am really upset. Staff is really sweet and the inside is comfortable. The food sadly is not worth the price. First I got the Cajun fries which are definitely not Cajun. In fact, they taste like normal waffle fries, which are good but not worth six dollars. Then I got a Swiss cheeseburger which was underwhelming. Way too much of their special sauce, a sad piece of lettuce, a few onions and tomato. The meat itself kind of tasted like the hamburger meat you get at summer camp when you're 12 and for $18 I expected more. I do think purple onion would help the flavor a bit more. Eating out is expensive and typically a treat. I will not be going back as I wish I spent my $18 elsewhere. read more

I go almost every week here. Shakes are 10/10, especially the more extravagant flavors. Burgers are solid. I saw some comments previously about the burgers being greasy. So I don't live in the area so I didn't know much about this place, but I will say without a doubt everyone should come here. I'll list off some things that stuck with me that a lot of other places seem to fall short on. First off the food was really good, the burgers were very fresh and tasty, also the fries were crispy but soft so those were another plus of this place, secondly the whole vibe of the place was modern but cozy and the whole atmosphere had this warm feeling that I really liked. Last but not least the service, walking in right away and going up to the register you are greeted by this really friendly guy, I can't quite remember his name but he was super respectful, and made sure you felt welcome, he even remembered my name when we came back which I like because the goal of that place is to make you feel as welcome as possible, I could go on and on about how awesome this place is but if you're looking for an all around great place for some great food I would definitely come here because you'll leave with a great mood and a smile. read more

Two of us had the burgers along with an order of fries and a chocolate shake. Neither of us were fond of the meat; there was a taste that reminded us of a breakfast sausage patty. The shake was good. One of us would have preferred a more intense flavor of chocolate and the other loved the shake. We both loved the crispy fries. They were perfectly seasoned, not too salty. And, they were not oily. Right up there with the best fries we've ever had. The guy who seated us was very kind. We did ask for the music to be turned down while we were there. He said there was no problem doing that.
