WOW! Tonight was our first time dining at Unhitched and it will definitely not be the last. We started off with the General Tao's Brussels Sprouts and Pita & Dips. Both starters were excellent! We wanted to try their Friday Special: Fish & Chips. Three of us got that and my daughter got the Brodeo Burger Special. The fish was great, The house tartar sauce was excellent. I wasn't a fan of their coleslaw at all, it was very meh. The service was phenomenal and the atmosphere was fun and very roomy. Great folks and very good food. Our family eats here often. Two of my grandkids worked here for a couple summers. We had my late wife's family remembrance gathering (60 people) here. The building is a former bowling alley, where I actually bowled many years ago. Wide selection of Beer brewed in the building and a nice concise menu. I had the Smashed burger, cooked to perfection, with fries that seemed hand cut. My granddaughter and daughter had a homemade pizza which was also excellent. We ordered a dish for the table made with brussel sprouts and general soy sauce, peanuts and I don't know what else but it was really, really good. The staff is very friendly and it was a very busy Thursday night with 22 degrees outside here in small town Ohio however things were moving very smoothly. This is a gem for our small town of Louisville. Not fancy but just really good comfort food. read more

Located just around the corner from Umbrella Alley, Unhitched is a great place for a friendly drink and food. The menu features a fusion of bold flavors such as taco pizza and Asian-style Brussels sprouts - both were excellent. The brewery makes a broad selection of beers that are good, but definitely on the conservative side for craft beer, likely intended to appeal to patrons accustomed to drinking more standard beers like Budweiser or Yuengling. The tap room is spacious and has great decor indoors and out. Definitely recommend a visit. read more

We have been coming here for the last several years with pretty good experiences until tonight. Normally the large pretzel has a certain seasoning that we loved and then mix it with the cheese and it was so good. That has now been removed leaving much to be desired. My husband normally loves the pizza however tonight it was half burnt and half undone. Lastly, since they have taken yet another favorite off the menu I thought of trying something new, the Chicken Bacon ranch sandwich. My sandwich arrived twenty minutes after my husband received his pizza and then it was soo overdone there was no flavor other than the fryer oil. So disappointing after the great meals that we have had here. I'm not sure what has changed but it is not for the better. read more

Great local spot in the small town where I grew up. This place seriously puts it on the map. We tried one of the pizzas and the steak frites. Both were fantastic. Instead of beer, we each had an old fashioned. It was strong and well-made. It was a little loud in the venue, but once you get past that, you're in for a treat. I remember when this was a bowling alley and we used to walk across the street from the old junior high for freshman gym class to bowl. They did a great job reimagining the space and I have been wanting to come here for several years. Strong work, you guys! You are making Louisville a very cool place. Food, drinks, & Live music on a Saturday night! Who could ask for more. My partners 30th Louisville High School Reunion (class of 92) had a gathering here Saturday night. I thought it was great and such a trendy place in a revitalized small town area. Nice open indoor and outdoor dining areas, a bar area, outdoor patio and game area, and a live band playing outside under a tent. Very nice, casual and fun experience. Everyone enjoyed the evening and it was a perfect spot. The restaurant is the old Louisville bowling alley and it's great how they reimagined the space as a restaurant and loved that the tables were made from the original bowling lanes. So cool. And it was great to hear the stories as the location Burroughs back so many fun memories for the group. The Restaurant is clean and so are the large spacious restrooms. The Stainless steel beer brewery equipment added to the ambiance. They had see 16 Taps and a full bar. For food, I had the Banana Cream Pie Pot de Crème for dessert. It was a nice treat similar to Banana Pudding. Some items that I saw that were on my list for next visit are The unhitched Smashburger with sweet potato fries, the crispy Brussels Sprouts, and the Shishito Peppers. Those all looked amazing. There is a Scan to Pay option and you can pay right at the table! That was really cool! Shout out to Alec, our server, who was working like crazy to take care of everyone. Great server. This gem did not pop up as a choice on Yelp..... as we were trying to find some place to eat we were starving as it was almost 2 pm. That same day drive on the main drag in this little town what caught or eye was first the umbrella alley then this place had a huge mural on the side of the restaurant and Unhitched in metal. We walked in to a hip clean brewery. Fat heads look out. Our waitress Mandy helped us with what she calls the most popular now we know why. Although I think the smashed burger was over done they still had a lot of taste. We will be back. read more

Blew me away from the first sip. The beers are exceptionally high quality. For a single point micro brewery, I've never tasted any with offerings so broad and so consistently high quality. 2+ flights in, the offerings are delicious, drinkable and incredibly well crafted. Oh, and we had lunch. The food is unique but accessible. It's elevated pub food with a mass market appeal. Big, bold flavors, thoughtfully constructed. I'm trying to figure out a way to describe why their fried mushrooms are the best I've ever tasted. But, they're mushrooms. Just mushrooms. In a light tempura-style batter, served with a house made ranch dip. Literally melt in your mouth... literally! I had a smash burger, my wife the fried chicken (a quasi-chicken parm prep with a serious Eastern European flair, yum!). Worth the drive from... well, anywhere really. read more

I'm not sure if I'm getting old, but this place was LOUD on the Saturday night we were there. Made it difficult to hear the people at our table. It was cold, so there was no outdoor seating. Anyway..the appetizers to me were better than the main menu items. The menu is pretty small, but what's on it is good. The smashburger is excellent and so was the fried chicken sandwich. The pretzel and pita bread appetizers were amazing. I could go back and just eat them. The staff was friendly and the ambiance was nice. Can't comment on the beer as I had non this time. I'll update this review when I go back, but we went there for lunch today, and I'll simply say if their lunch effort is the way it was today, they might as well go back to skipping lunch and stick to opening at 4. Menu is extremely limited at lunch time, and nothing on their website or social media indicates as much. We went specifically for certain menu items only to learn they were only available after 4 pm. Completely understandable, but this should be noted on their website. Only one entrance was open, which spills you into an almost cafeteria style seating. Again, this is a thing I'd be fine with if I knew before I drove there. Upon arrival, we weren't greeted and had to meander our way through this odd set up. Found our way to the bar, which I must say has to be great when they actually care to be open after 4. When we found our way to that spot, we were kind of kicked out. The bartender, of which there were two, told us they weren't open until 4 pm. (We arrived at 1). She ushered us back to the weird room of cafeteria tables where we weren't greeted. I'm cool with that, but when we happened upon the actual brewery space there were two groups of people enjoying beers separately from each other. I guess there are different rules for regulars, because we also noticed when we went back to the weird lunch room, there were two people with pizza boxes to go. Again, cool with that, but they didn't offer pizza on their lunch menu. I hope I'm wrong in assuming that regulars get special treatment, but we enjoyed our lunch at Fat Heads in Canton once we left this extremely weird set up. read more

New brewery in town! I've been following the progress of this spot for a while and it's been exciting to watch. A revamped bowling alley! They are doing really well for the "just opened" experience. I highly recommend the wings - homemade sauces are on point! In fact our server explained that everything is made from scratch (except ketchup). Burger - can you say "bacon jam?"yum! Cuban - not so much but others loved it. Pizza - more please!! They are growing the menu and I'm excited to try the upcoming pizza creations. BEER - they had 5 on tap (2 sold out) the favorite for my group was "Well Attenuated" IPA 6.7% If beer is your thing you'll love it here. If beer is not your thing you'll love it here too. It is a nice clean setting, fantastic staff and encourages another visit. I feel like next time I might add another star. Great spot for this little town. read more

Had a great first experience here, with Ben Gage's beautiful live music and with excellent waitstaff. The food came out very quickly. The wings were incredible. The crispy cauliflower dish was my favorite thing, the flavors were spectacular. The pretzel was okay, great texture but much too salty for me, with the everything seasoning paired with the very salty cheese dip. The carrot dish had excellent flavors, bright and fresh seasonings, but the plate had far too much oil in my opinion. Really wanted to try the pizza, it looked delicious. Overall, I am impressed, and plan to be back as I've heard the menu changes seasonally. Great work! read more

Complete disrespectful treatment as soon as I walk in with four friends to eat and drink the day away as you would on a beautiful Saturday after a round of golf. My buddy and I nudged each other jokingly fighting for a seat. We then get greeted with "no shushing or pushing here today boys." We all thought that was a little out of line considering we were literally joking around. We then proceed to order drinks she then says "we need i.d.'s from all of you." I'm almost 40 years old and the only one with no wallet and she denies me a beverage even though she knows I'm well over 21. Needless to say we left because of terrible service and judgemental bartenders. I was told she is the co-owner, as well. Disrespectful. This was the strangest craft brewery experience we've ever had. It felt like we were being penalized for having a dog. They allow dogs at their outside tables, so we brought our 5-month old puppy. We live in the Canal Fulton area, so it was over an hour round trip. We'd never been here before. The outside tables said to download a menu and order online and then it would be brought out. We asked for their wifi password. After the password not working and getting assistance from an employee, it still didn't work. If you're going to make people order online, at least get your internet working properly. (Maybe it would have worked using data, but we don't have data plans and can only use our phones with free wifi since the Tracfone 1-year cards we buy have such little data that we rely on free wifi at home, work, and restaurants.) So I was handed a physical menu and told I could order at the bar. I was interested in a dry hopped beer on their list, which my menu said was $7 for 20 oz. At the bar I was told that unless we drank inside or under the outside tented tables, I had to get the beer in a 16-oz cup. I looked at their 16-oz beer prices menu and saw that the beer I'd wanted was the exact same price for 16 oz. In the craft beer world, paying the same for 16 oz instead of 20 oz is a substantial difference. Yet we had no choice because we had our puppy with us and couldn't sit inside or under the tent (the tent was full anyway). Between the 2 of us, that's 8 oz more beer we would have gotten sitting inside, which is half of another 16-oz beer! We felt like we were being penalized because we had a dog and had to sit outside. If you're going to make people drink 16 oz when they would usually get 20 oz, at least adjust the price accordingly. We've been to dozens of craft breweries post-COVID that are pet-friendly, allow their glasses outside, and have the same prices for inside and outside. read more

Things disappear from the menu, now there is like 5 things you can order and overpay for. Everything on the menu was so thoughtfully and skillfully crafted to perfection with locally sourced ingredients. I was lucky enough to try a verity of dishes from pickled deviled eggs with aioli to the most mouth watering homemade pita and farmers cheese. This is what traditional bar food wants to so desperately be. All your cravings will be met and satisfied after/ during a few brews without feeling the guilt. This was our second time visiting Unhitched we absolutely loved the food and drinks and definitely the friendly atmosphere especially with our servers as both times they were very helpful and friendly. But during both of our visits we could not help but notice your manager Lauren. She is just down right rude, she looks miserable even doing her job let alone being there..... Never once seen her smile or walk around to your tables to check on any of the guests. I guess that's what our custome service is today, however your establishment should never settle! Just finished our first experience at this brewery. It was very good! Booked for a group of 24 and Katie was awesome to work with, she quickly responded to emails and had everything ready to go upon our arrival. We had a waitress designated specifically for our group, how awesome is that. The craft beers we're good and I loved the cider they had on tap. The wife really enjoyed the beers, stating they were some of the better ones she has had. We had several different pizzas, pork belly sandwiches, unhitched burgers, fries, and wings. Everything was good! Prices were reasonable, especially the drinks. We will definitely be back!! read more

I wanted to give this a better review but all the hype of wanting to try this place was met with huge let downs. We arrived and were immediately informed that they only had a few things left on the menu. All of the pizza was crossed off, only 4 burgers and some apps were available to order. When given a table, we had to ask the hostess to wipe it down because it had not been cleaned yet. My friend ordered a Moscow mule and I ordered a margarita but were informed they had no lime juice. I asked the server if the restaurant was having hard times or closing due to the lack of food and drink choices. She said no but since they are only open wed-sat, food goes Sold Out by Saturday night. The chairs, oh gosh! You MUST have slim hips and No butt to be able to sit fully in your chair. If you have meat on your bones, you will hate the seating choice. When our burgers came, the portion was good. The fries were fresh cut but doused in salt. Overall I give this place a C. UnHitched was a pleasant surprise, they had something like 13 beers available from porters to stout. Food selection was good. Had a brisket sandwich that was one of the best I've ever had. Place could use more TVs. The chairs are metal and they really could use cushions. Had a pretzel for an appetizer and the dipping sauces were mustard and beer cheese. Both were great. Pretzel was of a good size and served hot! Sandwich was enough for two. Fries came with it and they were perfectly done and a good size portion. Overall the food and beer was fantastic. The have no domestic beers. Just their own beers. I will be back to try some of their other meal selections. read more
