He was working very efficiently and managed to get the drywall done in a timely manner! Anthony came by the next morning to do the final work of painting and made sure that everything was all good. As many of us were totally caught off guard during the recent Kona Low storm here in Hawaii we were…read moreawakened at 2:30 a.m. with water on the floor of our third level. How could that be? (PLEASE CONTINUE TO READ entire article) The lateral force of the wind and rain drove the water under our 3rd level deck and into the master bedroom. The volume was so great it leaked to the kitchen below. My daughter and I hauled every bucket we could find and placed them wherever water was dropping. My son who is a construction contractor in Seattle saw our videos and said, "Mom, get a sharp object and start poking holes in the ceiling of the kitchen ceiling to relieve the pressure or whole thing could drop down on you." We did it and unbelievable amounts of water fell into those buckets. After two hours I went online and looked up "Water Intrusion". Rescue One popped up along with others but we chose to call them. Their answering service took our call and gave us an arrival time for their employees. Approx. a four hour wait. We carried on until Paul and his assistant showed up we looked like two wet rats from a Halloween Party. They stepped in and started arresting the source which meant going on the roof. They were in and out for three days. They brought in some kind of 'sucking machines' which pulled the latent water between floors into containers which dumped that water outside. Kudos to Paul, his assistants and Rescue One Restoration. They are the real deal guys! Eventually repairs were completed which involved electrical outages with dishwasher, stove and light fixtures. Final Review 2/4/2020 All for 1 and 1 for All... my favorite…read more3 Musketeers arrived earlier than 1 p.m. Gosh I told hubs at lunch after they left, sad cuz I'm gonna miss seeing them. They are like my uncles and cousin cuz they treat you with politeness and care. I had gone out before 6:39 a.m. to buy some sliders to help with the move in of our wrapped and stored bigger furniture. They listened very carefully to my requests of putting the "no rush to open" boxes in one area of the room. Hubs broken record of don't buy anymore furniture(how bossy)...so...the men moved the lighter colored furniture to the extension where I watch my Kdrama and the brown pieces to hiis tv room aka tinier wannabe man cave. They removed all trash with them and are professional in everything they do. Nimblest, strongest, gentle employees, all 3 of them. How such svelte men could lift, push, bend to get the furniture to their old stomping ground is beyond me. Whoever does the hiring of personnel is excellent. Thanks to Servpro and Perfection Flooring about 3 pm a plumbing coordinator came to our front door. She said I've been to many houses, this is a nice house as she entered. He moved our (heavy) appliances and furniture out of the way to get his fans set up to start drying out the walls. He stopped by every day to check in on the walls and once things were looking good, he moved our appliances and furniture back where they were. Christian was quick, efficient, and helpful. Careless Work After Asbestos Removal -- Damaged My Renovated Home…read more I hired this company for asbestos removal. The ceiling removal and painting were done well, but everything else was handled with no care at all. My home was fully renovated before the project, and now I'm left with damages everywhere. The walls near the ceiling were scratched, and they tried to cover it up with paint that's a different shade of white, which made it even more noticeable. My door is chipped, and they stapled into my wood floors without removing the staples. The bathtub coating is peeling and chipped in multiple spots (see photos). It was in perfect condition before, so it's clear they didn't protect the area during the work. I've already spent 6 hours just touching up the walls, and I still haven't even started fixing the bathtub damage. For a company dealing with something as sensitive as asbestos, I expected professionalism and care -- instead, I'm left with frustration and extra work. I would only recommend this company if you don't care about anything else except the one thing you hired them for. Otherwise, be prepared to spend your own time fixing the mess they leave behind.
