These guys are awesome. I got halfway through my install on my '04 BMW, then I couldn't figure out how to get it to fit, and the universal adapter for the steering wheel controls wasn't working. Turned it over to these guys, and they got it in. Plus they figured out how to program the steering wheel controls. They got it working perfectly and for a very reasonable price. Excellent customer service to boot. Top notch service all around. I purchased my unit through Crutchfield.com. These guys would have matched their prices, and they had more options to work with. Called this place around 10am. Told Jordan that I had a 5 channel amp, sub, headunit, and four speakers that I needed installed. He schedules me to come in after work later that same day at 3-4pm. Quotes me over the phone for 300. Realized after I got there that the amp is for all the speakers + sub, not just the sub, which is a lot more labor and work than just hooking an amp to a sub. He keeps the quote given earlier and keeps the labor the same and just charges me the parts that are needed without charging more than what the actual part is worth. Had me in and out within 2-3 hours (for a huge job this was expected wait time, I was ready to wait 4 hours max). Mike, the gentleman doing the labor on my car, asks me details about where I want the amp and other specifics to make sure they get every detail right. Super professional and it was a great experience and would definitely recommend others to go here. Def. coming back in the future. read more

This place isn't bad. Great service, ok price (Cash = No Tax), but unfortunately I only had my debit card at the time. They don't carry high end cables such as monsters. What they have are made in China cables which fine for what I'm running. From the looks of it, it doesn't seem like they can do FULL on custom work. I don't write reviews much, but I'm compelled to about this place so others don't get scammed. I came to get my door lock fixed since the alarm was not opening the door on the drivers side. They put some after market parts and at first it worked. Later to find out my drivers side window which was the side they worked on had problems. The window ended up falling off the track and it's because of the parts they installed. They obviously denied they had anything to do with it. They should have just been more honest if they were having problems installing it and I would have been ok with that. I spent $160 for getting the remote to work. Ended up spending another $150 with another contractor to fix the window since they wouldn't fix it. After that I didn't want them to touch my car. The contractor who fixed my window was adamant that the universal stereo guys totally F upped the job. This place is straight shady. They'll try to bait and switch you or up sale. Wait times are forever. The installer will damage your good existing parts while getting their parts in. Better off going to Best Buy for car audio parts and installation and feel assured. Bunch of street guys pulling off ghetto stuff. Pay at your own risk. I should have went with my instinct just by looking at the place. Feels like a junkyard in there. read more

Alright so let me start by saying from the very second I got to this place I was greeted with friendly smiles and knowledgeable employees. They asked what I was looking for and helped me find exactly what I needed for a price that was right for me. I got a nice sub installed with an amp and they even installed it and took less than 2 hours! To top it off, I thought I was having problems with the amp later the same day, and I decided to test my luck to call them an hour and a half after closing time and they answered! I was tired of listening to my blown speakers annoying rumble every time I cranked up my Neil Diamond CD. (Don't laugh. Okay, a little laughter if you must. He's an American Classic! So there!:) So, after reading some Yelp reviews I saw that this location got good reviews. I stopped in and spoke with the Manager/Owner Jordan. He had his technician evaluate the sound and, as expected, he recommended that all speakers be replaced. Not having a lot of extra cash, I opted to just have my front speakers replaced. The price for the installation of two speakers was definitely fair. The technician got to my vehicle quickly and he even evaluated my old alarm that wasn't working correctly. Got a subwoofer with amp and went to install them here and I ended up getting a pioneer stereo as well for a great deal and the work came out great, no wires sticking out, stereo looks great and sub works perfectly, also they offer lifetime warranty on their installations so it is definitely a spot to trust. My daughter has 2003 Honda Pilot with a dvd/audio system without an iPod jack. She had been using a cassette tape adapter to play her music, but cassette player stopped working. Took it in to see if a jack could be installed. These guys are so HONEST! Instead of selling me a jack with installation, they showed me how to use a jack we didn't know about to play her music. $15 aux cord vs. $100s on something we didn't need.
