Jackson Auto East suggested that I somehow did something to the car to cause this to happen. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau. Rather than address the specific issues I raised, they just kept denying responsibility. I spent an additional $2800 to get the car in running order. Overview: Sales reps…read moreare very pushy. Customer service and follow-up is horrible. Prices are decent, not much selection. Explanation: I have to admit, I've had better experiences at Wal Mart. I was looking to get a nice black, but used Audi in the 10,000 price range. When I came across one on their website, I was very interested, and submitted an inquiry through their website, www.axtmanauto.com. I was called within 10 minutes from a sales representative, and he asked me some questions and asked if he could pre-qualify me for the purchase of the Audi. I gave him the go-ahead, and I was approved. I met with him later that day, and test drove the car and really liked it. I decided to go into the office and see what we could get set up for the trade-in value of my pickup. Over the phone, we talked about a higher price for the trade, but when he printed off the sales contract, he of course, lowered it a good $1,500. I looked it over and then I gave him a thank you. I wanted to talk it over with my wife, but didn't want to do it in front of him. When I talked about stepping out for a moment to talk it over with my wife, he got somewhat defensive and asked, "How come? Is it something you can't say in front of me?" I just wanted to talk it over with my wife because he offered a low trade-in amount. So I told him that I was expecting more for the trade-in amount. I was then able to negotiate a little higher trade-in value, but it wasn't much. I owed money on the truck yet, so he advised I take $75 more out on the loan, just in case there were any discrepancies and they would pay me back the leftover amount after they pay my current loan holder off. He automatically added in a third party auto warranty contract to the sale, and really pushed it hard and advised it, so I decided to go with it. I ended up purchasing the car with the warranty, and trading the truck in. After I got everything out of my truck and moved it all over to the car, we drove off. When we bought the car, it was a cloudy day and it had dust on it. We had the car washed the next day, and wow, the car was practically covered entirely in buff swirls. (It's black, so it shows up like a neon sign) Also, the driver's door was all sorts of dinged up. It's going to cost around 300-400 dollars to get it repaired. A couple days later, I realized I forgot a white gold ring in the ashtray of the truck I traded in. I called them, and the sales rep said he would contact the detailing shop to see if they found it, and he would call me back. He didn't call me back, so two days later, I called again. Got ahold of a different guy, and he said he would do the same thing. Still didn't get a response back... I called one more time, and they told me the guy that would know was on vacation, and they would leave him a note. The guy never called, so I pretty much gave up and ate the few hundred dollars on the cost of the ring. About a month later, I called asking where's my refund on the trade-in loan overpayment. (Since the loan was paid of for 3 weeks by then) The guy sounded a little flustered and transferred me to someone else. The person said he was the one who handled the books, and he was just cutting a check for me and it was on his desk. (Wow! What a coincidence...) I did end up getting my money back. A couple weeks later, I sent them an email to cancel my third party warranty because it had mediocre reviews, and I have a mechanic that does excellent work at a real good price. They didn't contact me for five days. So, I decided to call them. They said they would start the process and send out the paperwork. They didn't, and a few days later I called again. They said I needed to talk to the guy that sold the car, but he wasn't available. They told me they would leave him a message. A few days later, I called again. I finally got to speak to the sales person, and he of course, asked me why and tried to get me not to cancel it. I told him my email explained it all, and I would like to cancel it. After all of that, he said he was going to send me the paperwork for cancellation that day. About 2-3 days later, I get a phone call from one of the reps and he asked where I needed to have my cancellation form sent to. I told him, and it finally was sent out. So, that's my story. A very long one unfortunately. I would not recommend anyone to buy there, and I will personally never buy there again.

Monday we went to the lot in St.Paul and we were told the car was in great condition the tv in the vehicle would be great for our 10 children and John had just gotten a oil change and a CO2 sensor replaced which he kept saying was the full point inspection We took it on a test run and we thought everything was great we heard some rumbling while driving but didn't think to much of it. John asked my husband to fill out paperwork and we would have the car that day even dropped off to us we asked multtimes did he get an all point inspection done on it and he repeatedly said YES and followed up with the CO2 sensor was replaced and a oil change he even said while we were walking outrhe full point inspection proof was in the folder with the car fax in the car fax folder. That wasn't the truth it wasn't in the folder. Today Wednesday we go to bring the car to his recommended auto shop to get the full point inspection and before we left John asked if we were going to his recommended location(1 hr there and back) we told him no. We found a different auto shop. Once the full point inspection was done I as well as my husband was shocked and scared as well as disgusted. The shop the frame of the vehicle was so unsafe we honestly shouldn't even drive it back also the transmission was being held up by a wooden plank as well as multiple parts of the inside of vehicle under the hood had multiple Zip ties holding different parts together amongst many other big issues and at the end of the day it would cost about $30,000 to get this car fixed to deem it as up to par & the vehicle probably wouldn't last 6 months let alone a shorter time period. The shop did say please please get back to the car lot as soon as possible as this vehicle is very dangerous and we don't recommend you even driving it. We drove it back Of course John wasn't back but Ron I believe is his name called him and I spoke to John on the phone and I told him I was disgusted and so disturbed that he was going to allow not just myself and my husband but also our 10 kids get in this vehicle as well as he knew and was fully ready to take our $20,000 with no remorse and how could he when he has a child himself as well. He repeatedly said he just got an inspection (the co2 sensor and the oil change) and then when I told him I don't care about that he then changed his tune to I was lying and the shop I took the car too was lying and he wants proof so he can reach out well I hung up on him .Ron I believe is his name . He's sorry for any confusion and any inconvenience and they would never sale a bad car and this man named Nick looks over the cars and they bring all of there cars to Minneapolis for inspection and to please send proof cause they have no record of clue what I'm talking about I tried to send over the proof but my husband just wanted to get out of the vicinity of the car lot and the people so Ron gave me his card I told my husband lets go and ill send once we get in the car and also in the car ill be calling the attorney when Ron heard me say that he said " Ill pay you for your inconvenience and the money spent on the all point inspection ($110) and anything else we will make this right. I'll attach proof of the all point inspection. Did I mention we brought two of our kiddos with us both days our 1 yr old son and 5 yr old daughter. We unknowingly had our children in a vehicle that wasn't just unsafe for myself and husband but also our two children. Is $20,000 worth twelve lives? He wasted our time as well as his.
