Called, and boom--perfect response, merged all files, and great to chat with. Dropped off my CLK for a used car "let's get it up to date" check, and got the call that everything looked fine, did need a few important items along with the B Service (perfect), but otherwise good to go. Even printed a list of "how to" for certain odd items like the convertible hydraulic fluid, and "don't waste money on...". Went to get new tires, etc. after "oh but bring it back for alignment right after, we'll knock that out too!". Love this place, and it will be my only Benz maintenance spot going forward.

You never get the impression that he's trying to pass anything by you, he just wants to help you. There is no work around, he's always up front with you. I even had a prior crack in my windshield from before (that I was totally putting off fixing) and he connected me to a glass guy, who helped me through contacting my insurance, and they fixed it there as well. They have quick service, however they don't crunch time and rush your service either. They do everything perfectly. I cannot believe what they have done for me. I'm forever thankful.

They said they had to put everything back together. When I got into the feeling the entire dashboard was out including all of my lights and blinkers. Nothing worked. I had to then pay another shop $1300 to put it back to where it was before they destroyed it and then they still couldn't fix it back to where it was. It was gonna cost me another $1700. I am extremely disappointed with how Buddy's Auto Repair & Alignment handled a serious issue after…read moreservicing my transmission. Shortly after their transmission service, my transmission failed while I was out of state. The service center that inspected the vehicle documented that the transmission fluid level measured approximately twice the specified operating range at operating temperature...was over-filled. They also found low and fluctuating pump pressure and diagnosed an internal pump failure, ultimately recommending replacement of the transmission due to so much internal damage. When I spoke with Brian, the owner, on June 19, I explained what the other shop had found and asked whether the transmission might not have been drained properly before being refilled. Brian immediately responded that it was his "best technician" and that he wouldn't have forgotten to drain it. He told me he would speak with the technician and promised he wouldn't "blow me off." He never called me back. After waiting eighteen days, I called him myself. Instead of following up on the concerns I had raised, the conversation took a very different direction. Brian stated the transmission had been slipping and shuddering (two of the EXACT symptoms I reported to him during our first conversation after experiencing transmission failure) and that this had been documented on the inspection. None of that was mentioned during our first conversation, even though he had the invoice and information in front of him at the time. When I originally picked my vehicle up after the transmission flush and fill (along with wheel alignment and drive belt replacement...general maintenance items), they told me everything was fine and did not mention anything being an issue after working on my vehicle. The original invoice states the transmission was refilled to the proper level using eight quarts of transmission fluid and that the vehicle was test-driven. The subsequent inspection by another service center documented a transmission fluid level well above the specified operating range. Brian ultimately offered to refund the invoiced total amount I paid for their service plus an additional $500 as a customer satisfaction payment. Considering I ultimately had to spend approximately $5,000 to replace the transmission with a remanufactured unit while being majorly inconvenienced when out of state, that offer did little to address the financial impact. What I found unacceptable was the lack of communication, the failure to follow through on a promised callback, and the unwillingness to meaningfully stand behind their work when I was facing a very large repair bill. I hope sharing my experience helps others make an informed decision. I can only speak about my own experience, and based on how this situation was handled, I will never go back to this business.
