Holy mackerel of sweetness. Did u ever walk into a place look around and just know ur were going to love it...well this is it. It's in a little strip mall nothin fancy that would stand out initially. I walked in and my eyes just bounced around seeing all the goodies that were coming out. I was an instant food peeper. Their specialty coffees come out looking more like desserts and caught my eye immediately meaning. Yup Im getting one. The portion sizes are huge. I got the brioche french toast plain but it comes with 2 toppings and there are specialty versions with all kinds of goodies on top as well that will put you in a diabetic coma but you'll be smiling. I am just plain. My friend got the steak and eggs perfectly cooked. I wish I ate eggs cause the benedicts looked amazing. We both prob could have shared 1 meal. The staff friendly and I heard it was family owned which to me always make it a little extra special. Definitely a great place for brunch but get there early. We went on sunday at 10 am and by the time we left it was packed. There is outdoor seating with high tops but by the time the condiments, coffee, coffee thermos, water, water pitcher, Coke and creamers are set out, there is no room for anything else. My husband is an executive chef so I am spoiled. I ordered the shrimp and grits and he had the breakfast burrito. The shrimp were huge and slightly overcooked. The poached eggs that came with the shrimp and grits or overdone. I found it odd that they offered a marinara sauce with their shrimp and grits but it kind of worked. I prefer grits to be a little richer and cooked a bit more. They tasted almost like instant grits.both the burrito and the shrimp and grits were under seasoned.the guacamole was not home homemade nor was the pico de gallo which is unfortunate. The portions are huge so if you're not hungry I would suggest sharing with someone. The stuff is friendly and helpful. They are very knowledgeable about the menu items. I also asked for the honey and hollandaise sauce on the side so the fried chicken wouldn't get soggy. The chicken was on the thin side and a bit dry. The mac and cheese was creamy and pretty good. The half waffle was good, but I was surprised it was a half, not a whole waffle. All in all, a fine experience. Until I got the check. The waitress failed to mention a $4 up charge for the mac and cheese or the $1 up charge to have sauce on the side. Not extra sauce, just on the side. They automatically add and 18% gratuity. I didn't see any notice of that at all. I normally tip more than 18%, but given that the waitress failed to disclose TWO up charges, I left the tip as is. I won't be going back. Plenty of places where I can pay almost $20 for chicken and waffles that is just as good, or even better, and not have surprise charges on the bill. read more

We bought a pitcher and could not finish our first glass. The steak was overcooked, had to send it back and lacked seasoning. I think they may have better lunch items. We spent $140 bucks for breakfast for 2 adults and 2 kids and left wishing we would have just went to a chain like Ihop or Cracker Barrel. The tasty breakfast burrito is such a large portion that my husband had leftovers for later. The highly recommended bacon, shrimp, and grits was tempting but I opted for the slightly healthier shrimp and baby arugula salad. It had 5-6 perfectly seasoned and cooked shrimp on a fresh mix of arugula, strawberries, blueberries, tomatoes and crumbled blue cheese.
