I'm a frequent customer at this Starbucks and typically spend $20-$35 per visit, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. I placed a pickup order that included oatmeal with blueberries, a breakfast sandwich, and a Caffè Mocha. When I arrived, none of the food items were placed in a to-go bag even though the order was clearly for pickup. I actually had to ask for a bag, and no one offered to help bag the items, which made carrying everything out inconvenient. In addition, my Caffè Mocha came without any whipped cream, even though whipped cream is a standard part of the drink. We had also paid for extra whipped cream, so it was frustrating to receive none at all. What makes this more disappointing is that I visit this location regularly and know the level of service they are capable of providing. Some shifts consistently go above and beyond with friendly service, attention to detail, and thoughtful touches like writing cheerful notes on cups. Unfortunately, on this visit, the service felt rushed and inattentive, and several basic details of the order were overlooked. I understand that mistakes happen, especially during busy times, but I hope the store can pay more attention to order accuracy and customer service so that all customers receive a consistently positive experience. read more

Wow this Starbucks is so pretty and super comfy in the weekend. It probably caters to the office buildings here so it's very quiet over the weekends. It's spacious and the only reason I even found this place was looking for a place to charge my onewheel as I explore this new area. It's so nice that I want to stay here and work (I didn't bring my laptop unfortunately). The people are super nice as usual and because it's not as crowded there is just the right vibe to make even the expensive drinks worth it. I've been coming here for months.. a silent fly on the wall, getting my drink and working for hours on the weekends. Everytime drinks are great, refills are fab, and the staff is so nice. I'm writing the review for a situation that happened though. There was this lady who comes in every Sunday to do (recently as of July 2024), and she is weird. One Sunday, she was recording everyone in the store - and it was weird. Like I was sitting behind her and her phone camera Would literally be turned backwards recording. Happened over the span of an hour. She also (what it looked like) was recording others walking by or the cashiers. I walked up to the cashier and Ivan was sooo kind and accommodating to escalate this. It was escalated to management and the workers have continued to be very attentive to the comfort of the other guests here. The second time i encountered this woman , I was sitting at the table she likes to sit at and I swear she was trying to get us to move. She sat next to our table and would pull down her mask and cough every 30 seconds to 1 minute.... She would pull down her mask, then towards us, and cough.... So we moved tables, the staff asked us if we wanted to call security but I was gonna move and let it pass for now.... Well, I worked there for 4 more hours and didn't hear her cough ONCE. ‍ I digress... this coffee shop is great, there's a ton of space to work, plenty of outlets/plugs, parking is plentiful, there are about 13 tables including 2 really long ones in the back for larger groups, and a few couches. Staff is fantastic (you can tell they truly enjoy working together!), and honestly drinks are a good price compared to other coffee shops I go to :) highly recommend! read more

This bux is located in the middle of some office park. I came here to meet up with a group of people. I have to say this is also one of the few bux that allow inside seating since Serramonte got rid of their seating area. Seating is spacious and cafe is clean. There's even a neat little conference room in the back. Staff is nice. Service attentive. Coffee is good. Not watered down. The only weird thing was the lights turned off a few times while we were there. I think lights were set up for motion. If there's no one near the counter it shuts off. One of us had to walk out to the counter for the lights to turn back on. Staff let us sit there as long as we wanted. This is the best bux ever! read more

I really think it's unfair that this Starbucks is still bogged down by reviews that are irrelevant to how the store currently is. Yelp, if you're reading, is it possible to remove or have past reviews be weighed less for not reflecting what the business is now? Most of the negative reviews initially stemmed from no Wi-Fi, and while they probably didn't have Wi-Fi then, they do have it now! Everyone is here studying day in and day out, like me, and using the Wi-Fi! Anyways, my review still stands strongly at 5 stars! This Starbucks branch really does everything they can to ensure that everyone walks out of the store with a smile. Despite me being here for months and just buying a simple single drink, the baristas are always cheerful and sweet to me every single day. When I heard about the Starbucks shortage back in September, I was bummed that a lot of ingredients were missing (but it also allowed me to appreciate simple plain teas. I had been looking forward to drinking peach green tea, but was told that peach juice made it on the shortage list and was unfortunately out (most likely attributed to COVID). Times are tough. Anyways, fast forward to three months later, the peach juice has made a return! I didn't realize it and ordered my usual green tea, but upon pick up, the barista asked me if I wanted a peach green tea! I agreed and was getting ready to reorder the drink, but the barista told me not to worry and remade me a second drink, a peach green tea... free! If Disneyland is the happiest place on earth, then the Starbucks at Oyster Point is the sweetest branch of Starbucks I've been to! I truly believe this Starbucks doesn't deserve to have the rating that it has, so I hope that more people will give it love! The barista Jose was so rude to me. He was working register and took my order. He charged me extra for a drink, rang my drink up wrong. I asked for extra ice and to size the cup up so I didn't miss any of my drink and he charged me for the size up drink. I didn't bother to bug him anymore because I didn't want to be rude but omg this barista was extremely rude and wouldn't listen to what I wanted so I got the wrong drink. FINALLY, a Starbucks on Oyster Point. I've been here almost every single day since I realized they opened up (yes, I'm basic af). Love the glass windows that span this space and all of the natural light. They also have a room in the back, where it looks like you can host private events. Great experiences here thus far. Servers are super friendly, drinks come out hot & quick, and they were even passing around holiday drink samples the other day! Good service, friendly and knowledgeable. I Heard about this spot on Yelp, and felt the need to add to how to find the back entrance. The back entrance is near the disabled parking and is identified by a red swite light. Enter go down a short hallway and use the first right door. Then, turn an abrupt right and look for a Starbucks sign next to the door. It can be a little confusing. If you're just stopping by, I dont think they care if you use one of the vacant disabled parking spots (there are a lot of empty spots over there). read more

I ordered a 'Traveler' of coffee to be delivered to a hotel this morning (2/13/22) through UberEats. The delivery was fast and the driver was very nice. My issue isn't with UberEats, my issue is with THIS partucular store! After placing the order, I personally called the store to make a special request for the order. I was told that my request could be accommodated "no problem." However, when I got the order, there were no stirers provided, no napkins, and most importantly, there were no cups. Yep, you read that right. I received NO CUPS!! I have a box of coffee enough to serve 10 people and not a SINGLE CUP to drink it with! Question: How am I supposed to extract the coffee from the Traveler if I have no cups?! Naturally, I called the store again to ask them about it, to which I received the following response: "Sorry, that was our mistake, we just forgot. We can't do anything about it now but maybe if you call UberEats, they might refund the order." So, it seems that Starbucks wants UberEats to take the hit for their carelessness and meanwhile, I'm still left with a box of coffee that I cannot drink! Needless to say, this wasn't the best use of my $25, and there won't be a 'next time.' I might have gotten better from McDonald's. read more

I ordered a vt ice shaken expresso, and my barista filled my cup up halfway and called it good and gave it to me. When I told him he told me it was the legal limit to fill it up to there or something like that. Not too sure what the heck was going on or what happened or why he made it so hard, but he ended up giving us the extra stuff to put in the drink like 5 minutes after we left our drinks there, and he gave it to us in separate cups when he could have just put it inside the drink.
