Busy: they r super busy snd close by 8 pm so make sure u either call them ahead of time n place an order for pick up (20-25 mins) or order first n then go for grocery while they make it for u. Entry: they allow one person to enter at a time so u got to wait outside for your turn. Food: we ordered medium pesto chicken pizza $25 (13 inch pizza) and loved it. The dough is thin and crispy. The toppings are generous. The red sauce is meh. It was just so bland that it marred my pizza experience. If you go the pizza route, try one of the specialty pizzas that don't have sauce. They are delightful. They tend to get busy, so order ahead or give yourself some extra time. My boyfriend and I stopped in on New Years Day to grab a warm satisfying lunch. We were welcomed warmly into the shop and after some time looking over the menu ordered a small Gio pizza and Caesar salad to share. The salads are stored in a side fridge where you can grab the croutons and dressing and add it all together so it remains fresh. We ordered 1 medium veggie pesto pizza, 2 large pepperoni pizzas and 20 wings.....$100!! And I thought Round Table was expensive. The pesto pizza was ok, only thing saving this place from one star. The pepperoni pizzas however were saturated in grease and minimal flavor because their sauce was nonexistent. It's like they did one tiny dollop of sauce for the entire pizza. And the wings...again dry as a bone and zero flavor because again, minimal sauce. Sea Ranch is a truly epic coastal town with unparalleled scenery that everyone should experience at least once in a lifetime. My only gripe with the town is that the dining options are somewhat sparse. Fortunately there are a few really good gems nearby in the Gualala area. One such place is Upper Crust. I haven't been here in 25 years. I'm happy to say the Upper Crust has maintained their pizza quality over the past quarter century! The crust, as you'd expect, is tremendous. The sourdough base they use makes for a perfect balance of an almost crispy outer crust and soft inner crust. They've maintained their old pizzeria ambiance, you can see the staff kneading and rolling out the dough when you walk in. Things to know: -there is seating but definitely plan on taking your pizza to-go if you're party is bigger than 4 people -they do have beers and a small front porch while you wait; the tap selection was small but good. Went with a local ale, wasn't disappointed -if salad is your thing, there was only personal sized salads available -Saturday night was a 35-40 min wait for pie, not too bad! read more
