Driving through Aubrey and needed something for lunch. Arrived a few minutes after 2:00 - they close at 2:00. Was welcomed with "We are closed". I immediately recall my father walking out of his restaurant after working all day and night and as we got in the car to leave (I was younger than 10 years old) - a family pulled up. My father greeted them and welcomed them INSIDE as he turned everything back on and insisted they eat - now that is old school customer service. I probably will never return to try this Upper Park to try their food because of this and don't care to invest any further. I just don't understand this - they had no idea what I needed or wanted. Nor shall they ever. Maybe their food is a 5-Star but if the customer care and service does not meet or beat that - it won't matter. I learned from Mom and Dad and then also in college that people will always return when there is excellent customer service, even if the food is mediocre. Not sure about this place - but that's my two cents of opinion and perception.

The wife and I came into Upper Park Cafe for breakfast on a Saturday morning around 9. It was a very rural atmosphere in downtown Aubry which is exactly what we were looking for. Parking: 5/5 - It's a downtown area, so there's plenty of parking in the nearby areas. We were able to find a parking spot right in front of the restaurant. Atmosphere: 5/5 - It's exactly what you would expect for a small town cafe. Rustic, wood and bricks. The dining room is not large, but the tables are spread out and there's plenty of room for everyone. Food: 4/5 - The food was very good. My wife ordered a beacon and egg sandwich; I ordered the eggs and bacon meal. The eggs were great and the bacon was crispy, just the way I like it. I also ordered oatmeal with blueberries, which was great. They had mimosas , but not bloody marys, which my wife likes. Service: 5/5 - The staff were fast and efficient. They were very friendly and quick to refill glasses. When we were done they brought our check quickly but didn't rush us to get out. Summary: If your looking for a great small town restaurant, Upper Park Cafe just might be the place for you. Service was great, the food was good, and there's plenty of parking. There are lots of shops nearby to walk off your meal. Try Ruby Cates Coffee Company for an after meal coffee. We'll definitely be visiting again.

Came to town looking for a great place for breakfast - up early, few places are open and wanted to avoid the big chains. This quaint town has at least one thing to stop for and this small plaza of breakfast, coffee shops have some great options to kick off the start of the day. Amber was helpful and made some great suggestions for breakfast and I ended up getting 10 sandwiches to go for the troops. Will definitely stop by again when passing thru if nothing else for their Pecan coffee - won't go wrong there.

Mexican Omelette- breakfast with the family!

Trying to move my wife off her Rainman-like creature of habit mentality brings a degree of risk. Thankfully, she didn't feel like fighting me. And she will be the first to admit that she was glad I "forced" her into something new. The deviled eggs were well liked. The entrees for our group included the herb roasted chicken, burger, nachos, and prime rib. For the record, any time I see prime rib on a menu I order it just to see if I'll ever return to that restaurant. Needless to say, it was prepared exactly to specification, with a perfect balance of tenderness coupled with the au jus sauce. My wife, having sampled every plate on the table, couldn't stop raving about the overall quality of every entree. Needless to say, I now have a new "safe" restaurant to add to our repertoire. I hate to add it as a side note, but the service was spot-on and our waitress was a perfect blend of attentive without being disruptive. If I lived in Frisco, WB's would be our local go-to spot. Instead, we'll break out of the bubble and visit often.

Overall, the entree portions for the two items that we had were a bit small. I had the pork tenderloin. It was under seasoned and dry. Glad there was pleanty of mustard sauce on the plate. Wilted spinach was overcooked as well. My wife and daughter wanted to split the burger. This is something they have done often in other restaurants. At least they feel like they had a generous helping of fries. They each received half a piece of wilted lettuce and a quater of a red onion. It is hard to believe that this burger was voted "Best in Frisco 2024." The embiance was nice. We had great ecpectations when we were seated and ordered. We cannot complain about our service. It was memorable.

I was completely stuck between the Pink Parm and the K-Pop fries and asked for her recommendation. That's when I found out she can do a split plate - which is genius because I truly could not decide. The fact that she was willing to work with me like that just shows how much she cares about her customers. I always say, when reviews are consistently good, I'm not too worried about price as long as the food delivers. Zoe mentioned she recently had to raise prices slightly -- which is totally understandable in today's economy -- but let me tell you... $17 FLAT for a split plate of chicken and loaded fries, fried Oreos, and a HUGE side of free ranch?! From the moment we walked in until the end of our evening, the experience was absolutely exceptional. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and host, both of whom wished us a happy anniversary and immediately escorted us to our table. To our surprise, the table had been beautifully decorated with rose petals such a thoughtful and special touch that instantly set the tone for the evening. Our server, Adam, greeted us shortly after and walked us through the specials, again wishing us a happy anniversary. We ordered a special appetizer, the octopus, steak, fresh bread, and margaritas. Everything was incredibly delicious. The margaritas especially impressed me I'm not a big drinker and tend to be very picky about cocktails, but it was perfectly balanced and so enjoyable. Throughout our meal, we were checked on regularly, both by our server and by the owner, Phil. Adam went above and beyond to ensure our drinks were always full and that we had everything we needed. It was also wonderful to see Phil personally checking on guests, clearing plates, and staying actively involved in the dining room. It's rare to see an owner so hands-on and genuinely engaged with customers. We finished the evening with crème brûlée for dessert, which was absolutely amazing and such a generous surprise when it was gifted to us in celebration of our anniversary. The entire night felt thoughtful, personal, and memorable. Outstanding food, exceptional service, and an owner who truly cares.
