I've been to both the Chandler location and this location with my 15 month old son - and while I do love the Toddler area at this location more (it's a little larger and doesn't have a back corner area with hard light up sticks like Chandler) - it was DIRTY at 10 in the morning!! There were wrappers from candy in the corners and there was a build up of hair (when are the mats swept / cleaned?!?) after the place had only been open for an hour?! Also people (adults and children) were wearing their shoes and going barefoot in the toddler area .. the mats also look very dirty with lots of black marks, and the big 'lego' soft blocks had tears in them. Because of this, I wanted to give it 3 stars, BUT I'm giving it 4 because of the layout and how much fun my 15 month old had! I do wish they kept it more clean ... the Chandler location is spotless. Update : I do love that the response on this was that they dropped the ball - but I was here 2 days later and the SAME candy wrapper was in the SAME corner .. how often are the mats cleaned?! This place has gone downhill fast since they changed management maybe 1-2 yrs ago. The new girl acts like a kid, all of her staff are kids. They never answer the phone, they have terrible customer service. The manager lady has no boundaries and i can tell shes a huge liberal and her attitude reflects most far left customer service attitudes (none, very self centered). She was shocked that i wouldn't allow her to take pictures of my kids. This place makes me very uncomfortable and its sad because it used to be such a great addition to Mesa. Its true that 1 manager can ruin a historically good place. She sets the mood, she hires the employees and she sets the norm of what is expected. The checkin and waiver process is atrocious. The waivers take forever and you can't just add yourself, your spouse and your kids. You have to add yourself first then your kids. Then exit out and go through the add just an adult and fill it out again. Out of the station for 6 iPads there are only 4 available and out of the 4 only 2 iPads were connected online. How do I know? Because you wait 15 minutes in line to be told to fill out the waiver. Then take 10 minutes to fill out the ridiculous form that takes forever. Then you get back in line for another 10 minutes to be told again that both adults need to fill the form out. They can easily put in the big sign with the prices that we all stare at please put fill out a waiver at the iPads. Yes it's posted at the door but as first time people we just assumed it's at the front desk where people are helping. In my 30-40minutes there were probably five families that all experienced the same ridiculous process and FRUSTRATION. It's a simple tweak that can turn a ridiculous experience into an awesome experience. Yes the place was great for your kids! Edit: Since the company responded I will up the rating another star. However I really do suggest you relook at your waivers and fill it out for a family of four (two adults and two kids). The form alone using the iPads take forever for a typical family. That on top of waiting 15 minutes to find out you have to fill out the form and then another 10 minute wait in line again means the "system" or new guest experience is broken. Again we're not the only ones who experienced this I would bet 75% of all new guests experienced the same thing (from what I observed this trip). read more

Only reason for taking a star off is because when we arrived there was a note posted on the door that said they have a big group of 120+ that day. Well great for them but bad for us. Drove about 30min and was not going to turn around at that point. We were meeting some people for play date and the place was packed. Kids running around and bumping into you. On a positive note, my kids enjoyed themselves and the group of 120+ kids would take breaks which opened up the lines for the climbing area. It also cleared up the trampolines which my kids loved. My 2 and 4 year old had the best time here. They really enjoyed the toddler area, but also had fun with the bigger things. My 14 year old cane with us and even enjoyed herself a little. You know, as much as a teenage girl can. On a Tuesday at noon in the summer it was packed. By time 1:30 came along, it was emptying out. I bought my tickets on Groupon, so it was a great deal. This place is pretty fantastic. I bring my 5 year old often. It's more crowded than our normal jump park but there are more options here and the prices are reasonable. Very small kids have a place to play as well so it's probably the best option for families with babies and small toddlers. We recently hosted a party for 12 kids (with parents). I was a little skeptical about the 30min limit in the party room for pizza, cake, & presents. (Especially when our check-in was soooo slow) but Tammi (our party planner) was great & we had enough time for everything we wanted to do. Generally, in my experience, the employees here are ALL great! It's rare to see this level of customer service from the young people working at a kids venue. Great job Uptown Jungle. Compared with other indoor play parks this place is fantastic!! This is great for adults to play along with the kids or let the kids run wild while you relax. There is so much more than just a couple of trampolines: There is a toddler area that is huge and gated off. For the big kids there are mazes, things to swing on, things to jump on, things to hang on, a 2-story multi-lane slide, there is a whole set of obstacles and play area upstairs, and even a climbing wall. There is a lounge area for parents to sit and relax with television's and there is free WiFi. There is also a snack bar for cheap eats though you are allowed to bring your own water in. $15 on weekends for 90 minutes and $12 on weekdays though we got in for $10 with a Groupon. Non-slippery socks are required or you can buy them for $2.50 each. Get there early as it fills up fast. You can go online to do the waiver beforehand or there is a station at the entryway where you can fill them out. When we were leaving the line was out the door with a ton of people and it can be a bit of a slow process to check-in. We loved Urban Jungle Fun Park! read more

Wow oh wow!! Best indoor play park I've ever been to. From the moment we walked in everyone greeted us with a smile and made sure the proper adult consult form was filled out properly. My niece is 6 years old and played like she was in Disneyland. The environment is very clean and I highly appreciate how they have all participants wear socks and no shoes. I, as an older woman, was taken back to my elementary school days and jumped and played just as hard. Best indoor park to take the kiddos while it's hot out! We got here right at 8:30am (summer hours) and there weren't many kiddos there but when we left at 10ish there was a line out the door!!! The staff followed the adults around and said that we weren't allowed to follow our 2&3 year old, unless we wanted to "play" as well. They told us that we had to keep them contained in the toddler area, which wouldn't be hard, but the door to the toddler area was broken. This allowed the older kids to come in the area reserved for toddlers. They threatened to kick the whole party out, because we went up the stairs to help the kids get on the slide correctly. Additionally, the lady checking me in asked if I signed a waiver, called me by the correct name before I even. Told her my name and then said she couldn't find me. Bought a groupon and brought my newly 2 year old here. This place is mostly designed for older kids but my guy really enjoyed himself. They do have a toddler area - my guy spent more time crawling and climbing the big kid stuff than playing in the toddler area. He LOVED the big slides. They have towels available for use to really slide fast-lots of fun! I do think the price is too high at normal rates - especially since you can only enjoy the place for 90 minutes, but the groupon is why we finally went. What I didn't like was that you HAVE to buy special grippy sock there for your kid which cost an additional $3-I didn't notice this as a requirement when I looked over their website and the groupon so I felt this was a way to just force you to spend more. I spent 30 minutes driving here so I wasn't gonna turn back over $3 and I'm sure most parents would do the same. Place good but they have a PA system that is LOUD. As in forget about hearing the conversation you're having until the announcement stops. It's not bad, the first time. But the workers are always on it. Reminding people with certain color wrist bands it's time to leave. Then birthday announcements. Then rules. Reminders. Never ends. That's my only real complaint. But it's bad enough to deduct two stars. EDIT: I'm changing this to one star because they implemented a "new system" that is garbage. It didn't keep some of the information we entered into it so when we got to the front desk they didn't see it on their end and couldn't fix it. Their junk system we have to redo. And then the card reader wouldn't accept our signature. It kept trying to clear it. So we re did everything and still had to waste ten minutes at the front counter. Alrhough I will admit, the girl at the front counter was extremely nice and apologetic. She's probably had to deal with a ton of mad customers because the owner or management decided to implement this new system that probably saved them $10 upfront but are too stupid to understand the 10 minutes wasted on us and every other customer, every day, equals tens of thousands of dollars. My 3 year old son asks to go to "Urban Jungle" probably 4/5 times a week. And I would totally take him (if I could). This place is walking distance from my house and we absolutley love it! We watched this location being built for about 3 months and we were so excited to finally check it out. I'm pleased to say that we were not disapointed. This place is like no other indoor or outdoor park. You pay a reasonable cost for an hour of play, they only charge half price for the parents to join in and play as well. YES you heard me right, the parents and adults can play in the jungle gym just like the kids. This is the best thing in the world especially starting with a 2 year old that can not yet venture off on his own completely. What do you do when its 118 outside and you are with your 8 & 5 year old grandsons? You look for some inside fun! I was searching groupon (it's a great way to find activities to do with kids) and found a great deal for 2 hours for 2 kids for $18 bucks. Checked out the website and thought man what a sweet deal. So, told the boys we are headed out for some fun! It was a busy Saturday afternoon, but it wasn't too crowded. We got all checked in and the boys where given a colored wristband, put on some grip socks and off they went! Uptown Jungle Fun Park has climbing walls, trampolines, obstacle courses, mini zip line, slides, ninja course and so much more. The kids are required to ditch their shoes and put on some grip socks, if you don't have any, you can buy some for $2.50 a pair. And if your headed that way, check out the website and fill out the wavier before getting there to save some time. They have a nice seating area for parents to just chill and wait, even massage chairs and tvs. You know when your time is up because they announce by wrist band color, and the boys understood this rule clearly haha. Now remember I said I paid $18 for 2 hours for the both of them, 2 hours went by and our color band had not been called so I though eh let the kids keep playing, after a 2 1/2 hours my 8 year old comes to me all sweaty and said grandma is it time to go yet, and I said was your colored called, he was like no grandma but we are tired and at that time the 5 year old was coming around the way. After reading reviews, I was hesitant to go, especially on a Saturday. Well we did so anyways and we got there early Saturday morning and very much enjoyed ourselves. Yes, it got crowded, but the place is HUGE and it accommodates the number of people quite well. The place has a LOT of variety of play options!! The most I have seen at similar play places. Very creative options!! I found the staff ratio to be acceptable. They seemed to be everywhere. We will return for more fun! I wish they served lunch or hot food. Only snacks are available. Sorry, minus one star for that and the fact that I do wish they had a better security system in place to match kids to parents because when you can't find your kid, panic sets in thinking just maybe they got out somehow. Went here for my nephew and nieces birthday party on two separate occasions. It's a great place to host a party for anyone with kids. The staff is super helpful and friendly. They made sure all the guest were signed up with their waivers quickly and on their way to having fun. It is a great place to take kids to burn energy. We have been taking our kids here for a while now. The staff is always helpful. Kai helped us check in and he was very curtious and polite. There is plenty of parking in the area but I usually park out back. There is a parent corral in the back if you don't wish to jump around. Really fun place for the kids. What's even better is the availability of specific hours for toddlers. This is a great idea as the older kids tend to run over the smaller ones. Beware though. There is an "agro" at the front desk when checking in. She needs to be a little bit nicer when telling the clients that something is not allowed or that everyone needs to sign the waiver.
