This was a really neat place that we recently went to for a birthday party. They keep it very clean and in nice condition overall. There is a toddler area, a trampoline area, a climbing area, and a central playhouse that is multiple stories with slides and foam ball launchers. There is also a parents lounge with massage chairs that was a nice touch. I thought the staff did an excellent job keeping order though they seemed a little annoyed by the task. Overall, this is one of the better indoor play areas that I have been to in the valley. read more

We had sooooo much fun at Urban Jungle today. It seemed packed when we walked in but once you get playing there was tons of Room. Lines for the climbing walls moved surprisingly quick. Staff was incredibly friendly, and everything was so Clean! We went as a group with another family and even the adults were laughing and enjoying chasing their Little's around. It is so worth the extra $2 more than the other trampoline places. Especially since my 3 year old got to play with his brother not in a separate room where there isn't much to do. Our group of 6 kids had a blast on the trampolines and slides!!! Before we left they all wanted to climb the rock walls. We asked the two girls at the front counter if they could let them climb. They told the kids they had to wait for a co worker. The kids waited patiently...we ended up finding the co worker and he told us that the girls at the front could help us. Well they chatted and refused eye contact as we asked again with the same excuse. We walked out. Yes they disappointed 6 kids. Mind you it was a Wednesday. The place was not busy at all! read more

We have been excited to try Urban Jungle since we finally have some indoor fun in the our corner of Mesa. We were disappointed on our first trip. Severely understaffed. 2 ladies checking everyone in, answering questions, and answering the phones. Finally, a third lady came to help once the line was literally around the building. It is much too hot in Phoenix to wait in that type of line for a cool place for kids to play. I also was only able to locate 2 adults supervising the play area. The kids had a great time and the lounge for adults is amazing. Hopefully, they address their issues with staffing. read more

An hour plus in and my 7-year old is still running around--there are so many things to do: climbing, trampolines (w/dodgeball), inflatable obstacle course, slides, balls. If you have toddlers, there is a dedicated space for them to run, jump, crawl and slide. And best of all it is extremely clean! (Unlike a popular island play place). Free hand sanitizer too. And there are lots of places for adults to sit and watch in cool air conditioned comfort. Please note: "gripping" socks are required of all who play and will run you $2.50 if you don't bring any. There is an adult lounge with TVs (sorry, no adult beverages), but the couches were full and the massage chairs require you to pay to sit on them--so not much use to me. There's also a convenience store area with drinks and snacks are are double grocery store prices but not too out of control. And here's a plus, the kids and adults seem well-behaved. Imagine that. *****We're back. Not so smooth checkin. It is so loud the employee could not properly hear my name to check on a previously signed waiver--had to go to iPads, check name--yep, I'm in the system--and wait another 5 minutes. Really?! The loud music and screaming kids will make for a long 90 minutes. read more

I would have given this place 5 stars if it wasn't for one very serious problem: the security. Note: I have a 4 year old that is very active and coordinated, and was physically able to enjoy every aspect of this place. She would have gotten very bored in the 2-5yr toddler area by itself, so we were happy to have an indoor place that was her speed where she could really explore. The entrance/exit is an automatic door uncomfortably close to the play areas with no physical barrier that might at least slow a kid from running into the parking lot. They give your child a wristband that indicates when their time is up, but no mechanism to verify a child belongs to an adult as they exit. It would be VERY easy for a random adult to walk in, grab a child, and walk out. Finally, the mega structure has about 5 different exits on opposite ends of the structure, so it's very difficult to keep an eye on them as they move from one play area to another. I found myself walking circles around the structure and hovering around the exit. I'm typically not anxious about these things at all and like to give my kiddo lots of independence and space, but the set-up of this place was sounding off all kinds of mommy alarms for me. That aside, this place is fantastic. It's clean, there is LOTS to do for kiddos maybe 3-11 yrs old for a good couple of hours. There is a parent zone with couches, TVs, and amazing massage chairs that I got to enjoy while my husband kept an eye out. I hope they implement some kind of security control soon because I would love to come back without having to be quite so anxious. read more

Urban jungle is like a playground on Crack. Slides, climbing things, slides, shooting ball room, and trampolines. The place was clean and employees were circulating the different areas. We went during the tot time and especially loved that there were no big Kids! It was pretty crowded given it was the first week of tot time and a Friday. The line to get in was very long, about a 30 min wait. We got there at 10, and the line was already starting to wrap, by 11, it was not only wrapped it was around to the other side of the door. The line continued steady until about noon. This was with an employee at the door making sure waivers were filled out before getting to the counter. They need to figure out a way to expedite this process, because there were melt downs happening up and down the line. Several in our mommy group turned back because the lines. Had my mother in law not offered to help the lady behind us with her crying children, I'm sure she would have given up too. Maybe they can do online check in and pay? Once in, my son was off having a blast. The only problem was he was going too fast to watch or keep up with. He would go up one set of stairs I thought led to a slide then not come down because it led to Lots of choices! The upstairs play structures have cool clear fiber glass cut outs, that my son was scared of falling thru, but once i showed him it was ok, we found a cut out that had no fiberglass and was an actual hole- very confusing and dangerous! The provided parent lounge had comfy couches, cartoons and massage chairs (for a fee). It was nice when we needed a break and several mom's were in there feeding their babies. Although, I wish it was at the front of the building so parents could keep an eye on the exit. However, the BIGGEST DOWNFALL of this place is they have no check out procedure. They stationed an adult at the door to make sure no stragglers ran out, but had/ have no way to identify that the person taking the child out, is the person who should. This made me a bit leary losing my toddler in the crowd, so I attempted to keep up with him and suggest you do as well. I would highly recommend this place look into and revise their security procedures to ensure this it is not a place that makes it easy for kids to be snatched. I hate to think like that, but Arizona has a high rate of child trafficking; it can't be something they ignore. Maybe they can look into something like makutus island- gated exit and matching wristbands with names that are checked upon exit. After all, this place could be awesome, but safety should be priority #1. Overall, we had a fun time. But be prepared to wait to get in, dress to be able to chase your child, and don't forget the grippy socks. Oh, and while there is room for strollers, it's better to leave them at home. They made it awkward for others to maneuver around, and took up a lot of room in the toddler zone. read more

I love the size of this fun park. It's big enough for my older kids to run around without worrying about them getting lost. The toddler area is one of the better ones than I have seen, and gated which is a plus. There are stools throughout the whole gym to watch your family and a comfy seating lounge with massage chairs! The only setbacks would be time limit pricing. Although a fair price it is the same as makutas island charges for a whole day. Food and beverage area would be nice. read more

I'm not generalizing to much, I hope, but kids and dads can go NUTS for hours; and it appears (from my elevated gunnery position) that the moms are enjoying the endless amount of "mom talk" down in the neutral zone. Groupon ftw Went in a date with my fiance to Urban Jungle. We'd never been on trampolines so it was super fun. We spent about an hour there and after 30-45 minutes of jumping around, running through there mazes and doing there obstacle course we were covered in sweat and laughing like idiots at each other. Excellent place to keep the kids occupied while you can get some time to relax. There isn't much for adults to do here, but the provide areas for parents to relax and do their own things. I like how involved my kids were with all the activities. It ain't Disneyland but this is still something your kids can get excited about. We purchased a Groupon so we could try Urban Jungle. Our kids age 2, 6, 12 loved it, they have something fun for kids of all age to be entertained. Only draw back is the small toddler area says for 5 and under and there were multiple big kids rough housing etc. It would be great if parents could adhere to the rules or if it could be enforced by staff so the little ones aren't getting pushed and bumped into by the big kids! My almost 3 year old and 4 year old had a lot of fun which was the only good thing about this trip. They were under staffed or did not care that people did not have grip socks on or even socks on at all. The floors were sticky, dirty and there was candy stuck to the floor. We were there at opening so 100% the floors should not look like this when you open. They have designated toddler zones which is nice IF they are actually enforced. There was constantly older kids in the toddler zone area and they didn't have younger siblings with them or anything and no one told them anything. There are cleaner and better managed places to have fun then this place. read more

We have been going to this place since December'ish of 2017 when it was still called Urban Jungle. Back then it was amazing - clean, equipment was well-kept, etc. It has gone downhill since then. It seems that ever since it changed its name to Uptown Jungle it is like night and day difference. (Is it new management or something?) The staff are grumpy and disinterested, and not friendly and welcoming at all. The equipment is run down - cracks and rips in numerous places of the padded areas (which is everywhere). Missing pieces of bridges so you have to jump down to get to the "next step" of the bridge. Half the time we go there, things don't work -such as the ball drop basket in the ball pit area. The floors in the ball pit area are gross and look like they haven't been swept, let alone wiped down in months - dust bunnies caked in the corners. And I don't know who is responsible for waxing down the slide, but it ALWAYS has such a ridiculous amount of wax on it that kids are slide out long past the bottom of the slide padding and onto the walking area. Totally hazardous as other kids and parents are walking by and here comes a kiddo b-lining straight into them. Also extremely unsafe because as everyone is sliding down this overly waxed slide into the walking area, it is dragging said wax into the walking area! I have walked past and slipped on the waxy floor and fell backwards while holding my infant son. And yes, I had on the slip-proof socks. Socks do nothing for you if you are literally walking on a wax coated floor! Everytime we go I tell them people are slipping and falling due to this wax, but it doesn't seem to matter. The next time we are there it's the same thing. Anywho, we have stopped going here as often as we did because it's just gross and unkempt. It's clear that it's never wiped down or anything. It looks it. A total germ factory. And I'm not even a germaphobe! read more

Staff was very helpful on our first visit. We primarily stayed in the toddler area which had more than enough great toys and activities. However, I was a little disappointed by the lack of enforcement of rules. The toddler area was designated for 5 and under and older kids were running through practically bowling over my 1 year old. In addition, they make a big deal about socks for all those playing but only about half the adults had them on. Please enforce this. My son was crawling around and I know socks don't keep everything sanitary but it is better than sweaty feet. read more

Uptown Jungle just hosted our Graduation Senior Lock-in and it was amazing! We were there from 10:30 pm to 4 am and the kids were having fun the entire time. They had slide races on towels, dodge ball tourneys, basketball, nerf-like wars , elevated obstacle course, ropes courses, casino table, karaoke machine, and hide and go seek in the dark! We had the run of the place including pizza and an open soda bar. This was by far the easiest grad night without having to lug or rent outside tables or food or have to get multitudes of parent volunteers as Uptown Jungle provided their employees to make the night happen. Plus the enclosed venue kept the kids safe and sober on grad night. We took a bus there and back and didn't let the kids drive individually. This will be the new tradition and they are building another location right by our school. Thank you Uptown Jungle!! read more

If you want something fun for the kids, look no further. I love everything about this place! Here is a pro/con list. Pro- First of all, the pricing here is cheap. They also accept Groupon which is amazing. I believe during the week it's $10 for the first hour, then $3 for additional time. The play structure is huge! 3 levels and more for kids to jump, run, slide, shoot, and scream on. They also have a trampoline area, younger kids/baby area, and amazingly a climbing area with harnesses. Parents listen up.... THERE'S A PARENTS ROOM WITH LEATHER SEATING AND MASSAGE CHAIRS! Also, they have a nice little shop for food, drink, and merch. They do have party info if interested. Cons--- I had a hard time thinking about this, but I believe the fact every single person needs to fill out a waiver on the tablets. Also, if you dont have a pair of their special socks, you'll be paying $2.50 for those too. The staff seemed fine. A couple of the girls were wearing shorts shorter than the shirt they are required to wear for work when worn correctly. Also, please dont sit and text when you're supposed to be watching the kids in the climbing area. Overall- I will return back there. They have an amazing place built there, and my daughter begs to go there daily. read more

My 9 year old son loves this place! There's so much to do for all ages. He loves the obstacle course and trampoline dodgeball. The last time we went was a summer afternoon and it was very crowded. We waited in line for awhile waiting to be helped. Next time we will probably opt for the early morning hours. Also, the baby area was very clean and so cute! Lots of awesome equipment that could be fun if the place wasn't so dirty with broken and missing equipment. I've been there a few times prior to today around the time they first opened (approx 1y ago) and it was awesome. I am very disappointed at how dirty and run down the place appeared today. We arrived at 8:30a this morning shortly after they opened and there were maybe a dozen other people in the place. So, I I doubt that what I saw occurred just before we arrived. There was dirt and trash smashed candy and missing/broken equipment everywhere. The floors were grimy and covered in dried splatters of all kinds of liquid (one of which looked like it could have been dried blood). I even found used a used bandaid on the stairs of the play equipment. I've posted a lot of pictures with comments to help give you the scope of how dirty the place was everywhere I looked. I hope this serves as a wake-up call to the management/owners and they clean and fix the place. It used to be a really great time. read more

I come here a couple times here with my son and family. An I today visit just didn't feel welcoming. The old lady with the long hair just didn't have that customer service welcoming. Even when came to buying something from the snack area. Maybe next time we'll try a different time to come or try a different spot. But I do appreciate the other younger coworker in duty for helping out getting my son situated with his wrist band. read more
