I've been coming to this bar for a few years now and honestly once they got a security guard its been a better place to come and hang out

Cute little neighborhood sports bar with plenty of TVs and plenty of open seating. I came here to watch an NHL hockey game, and they were luckily showing it on the big projector. I had a nice cold beer and service was friendly and fast. The bar was full almost the entire time and was a fun/lively crowd which is always a good sign. Went here for the first time to watch Michigan play in the Citrus Bowl. We got the private room downstairs so the volume was on the whole game! Ordered a burger and curly fries (didn't realize the sweet potato fries were waffle fries otherwise would have ordered those!) Unfortunately the burger took forever, but our waitress apologized and comped it. Burger was good, very generous serving of fries, which I loved! A little bummed they didn't have a lot of what's in their menu (like the brussel sprouts), but hopefully a sign of better things coming. Bathroom toilet is so low, felt like I was in an elementary school, not sure this would normally make a review, but I'm 8 months pregnant so that was tough! Ya know, I really enjoy this sports bar. Its a little dark, a little gritty, with great food, great staff, darts, and a whole lot of energy! There's not much more you can ask for in a sports bar. Their bathrooms are clean (even on a weather delayed football night)! I really like their food! They seemed to have updated their menu recently and their nachos were boooomb- huge and delicious definitely made to share! Stopped in the other night after watching Heathers at the Lobo Theater. I was craving a vodka dirty martini. The service was great. We sat at the bar and the bartender was a sweetheart. She made us the perfectly dirty martini with Tito's. Best martini I've had in years. Luckily we happened upon karaoke on a Wednesday night. I just finished watching the USA play in the World Cup. The waiter was very attentive today, which I appreciated. My wife and I ordered at minute 43 and didn't get served until after minute 90. Remember there's time for the intermission as well when you calculate how long we waited for food. It was well over an hour, and there were only a couple of minutes left in the game. The waiter said the kitchen takes care of people sitting upstairs before serving us downstairs. This statement doesn't make much sense since you seat yourself into either the upstairs or downstairs. I wonder if our food was delayed, because we're lesbians? read more

This is the only bar/restaurant open late on a Sunday night in this area. They have a late night menu which is mostly together smaller bites on their regular menu. This place is very large and easy to find seating. I did not have high expectations of this place because I just needed a snack and a drink after a long day of driving. The service was friendly and quick at the bar, my food also came out relatively quick. The wings were standard, not too over sauced. I'd definitely come back here since it is so close to the hotel I was staying at. read more

The Albuquerque Jazz Orchestra moved to this location just months ago, and I finally had a first Tuesday of the month to go hear. No cover, and they along with vocalist Hillary Smith were wonderful! Didn't know what to expect by way of food or snacks, and I was pleasantly surprised. Got a game changer burger that stood tall and wide and was able to split that huge thing with my husband. Was a loaded sandwich with burger cooked perfectly to what I asked for ('medium rare). Super yummy but at $21. Came with a side, and we ordered onion rings! Battered and delicious and more than just a few were on the plate; they were generous! The wait staff worked was very available to fill take additional orders. We had ordered a meat and cheese tray to share with other at the table for $18. Had a nice charcuterie assortment. Not disappointed at all! Great evening of music, friends, and food! I loved that the restaurant was considerate to turn off all the TVs while the band was playing. I'll definitely be back when I get another first Tuesday free! read more

I'm sorry you hate your life and don't want to be there but being a waitress is DEFINITELY not for you. 1 menu to share for 5 people and half way through before we ordered dinner, she took the menu and gave it to another table. So guess we arnt eating?? Ended up leaving immediately. You have 1 menu to share between all of your customers?! Only bar I've ever been to that the customer needs to serve their own water too, that's just sad. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Just an awful experience. This is a great place to watch sports and have some great food! My favorite is the chicken wings but everything else is just as good! Lots of specials and the burgers are awesome!! The servers are friendly and they always check on us often. The atmosphere is relaxed and easygoing. Never any problems. Not sure about the alcoholic drinks because I don't drink but it seems like they have a good selection from what I've observed. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great place to watch your favorite team while eating a good meal. read more

Great for groups, having a beer, or watching the latest sports event. They always have almost all of their multiple TVs on with different sports, from golf to boxing. They also have a few dart boards and an arcade game. The food is exactly what you expect from a sports bar. Nothing special, but decent. Family friendly. read more

Drinks are close to water! You can't taste the alcohol at all! Sad at best! Avoid if you enjoy your drink

They are advertising a full bar. Which is far from the truth. A compressor out for over a week and no discount to any beers to make up for this issue. I asked the General Manager as to why this was the case.. and he didn't even open his mouth for a response. I tried to add the comment to Facebook and was BLOCKED. Being a regular for 7+ years and being treated that way by a Manager that "just needs to be seen" is an issue. Most definitely a sports bar. Large projectors surround the place with a loud sound system. From any view you'll see the game you want to see. Mixed drinks are mediocre. Bar food is available. Pool tables are available along with darts. I'd say it's a great place for a large group, because they can definitely accommodate. The uptown area is full of chain restaurants so this local sports bar and grill is a relief. Heads up it's a Steelers bar, just had to throw that in there. read more

Honestly I always enjoy my visits to this spot. It is awesome for Football season their beer is great and if you don't like their brews they have a wide local selections and basic commercial beer as well. The food is always on point but you may have to stand up and wave for your waitress because this place is big and most the girls are young and super friendly working and visiting making everyone else's experience great too. They did a great job last year handling the super bowl crowds and rowdy moods. There were specials and I really had a great time. There are darts here too. When there isn't football I like to play darts and snack around with my friends. It is super laid back and if you visit be sure and check in to see the Yelp perk. I recommend this spot as a local staple bar. If you're looking for glamour this isn't the spot but I am tomboy and I dig it. read more

We just moved to ABQ and this was one of the first bars we came to. We had a party of 15 people and Angel was our waitress. She was absolutely amazing and made our night 1000% better. She was kind and polite and on top of her job. She is an asset to the team. The bar was pretty fun as well, they have darts and pool and affordable drinks, highly recommend this place! This is my go to place to watch football away from home. My friends and I have a lot of great memories of this place watching college sports. The food is decent but definitely goes downhill and becomes inconsistent when it gets busy for football watch parties. For example, nacho toppings become sparse and orders often get mixed up. There are definitely not enough waitresses when they get busy and service can be slow. On a normal day the food is just what you'd expect but nothing special. The beer selection is always decent and has a good variety of craft and domestic beers on tap. Be careful when you bring your kids here, they will like the food, and the crowd is normally kid friendly. But the crowd can become incredibly rowdy and straight up vulgar during games. While I usually get a good laugh at the "try hard" sports fan when I'm on my own, it's not too nice when they are purposely yelling f-you in the loudest possible voice at the tv in front of your kids. This isn't necessarily the restaurant's fault, but it can be a major detriment to your experience and atmosphere. read more

I was expecting mostly domestic crap like Bud and Miller Lite. But they had some nice craft beers. Check the beer menu. I rarely eat at sports bars. Usually it's all processed or frozen stuff. So I can't speak on the grub. But our beers were cold. The waitress a delight. The game was on and we could hear it and cheer for our team. Again, this was when the place was nearly empty. I have read reviews that say when it gets busy and packed service definitely gets slow and crazy. The place is really large. If you have a big crowd, they have the room. Came for a drink before graduation lunch, saw the decent reviews thought we'd give it a try. You get a $1.50 check in offer the bartender did not understand, I don't even think she gave it to me on the bill. Service was impressively slow for how few patrons there were on a Friday afternoon. Our friends who came to meet us waited at the bar for what seemed like 10 minutes because the bartender was just hanging out in the back chatting. Not exactly the best way to keep return customers.
