    Brown Sugar Milk with boba

Saw this spot after picking up dinner at Thai Original Bbq. They currently have a soft opening. We decided to try their drinks. Limited drink menu, but surprisingly they were really good! As I was telling my order to the cashier, a lady (maybe the restaurant owner) was standing next to the cashier, heard the order & immediately went to the kitchen and started making the drinks. Service was quick. Drinks were freshly made. That passion fruit jasmine green tea was reaalllyy good! There was even passion fruit seeds inside the drink. Very refreshing. No one else was dining inside. Tables were clean. Some tables had flowers on them. It looks like it's a fast food Chinese restaurant. We will have to try their food next time.

New fast casual modern Chinese spot recently opened in Cerritos. They have a good variety of options including both more Americanized Chinese food and some more traditional dishes. I really appreciated that they had Garlic Eggplant and Green Beans, Sweet Tomato and Scrambled Eggs, and Mapo Tofu dishes. They were all really tasty! The Mapo Tofu had some mala spice, but it wasn't too spicy. I also wanted to try the Orange Chicken, and this was pretty good as well! We also ordered a side of Egg Fried Rice, which was pretty standard but goes great with all of the flavorful dishes. You order and pay at the counter. When your food is ready, you pick up your tray from the counter and find a seat. Utensils, sauces, and fountain drinks are self-serve. The portion sizes are not bad, but it's a little deceiving because they put a smaller bowl into the larger logo bowl for the entrees. They pretty much fill up a large bowl for the rice and noodles. Once you're finished seating, you bus your own tables. Place your tray in the tray shelf and toss your trash. Make sure you don't accidentally throw away the bowls!

I came in to stop by for a drink and the boba was delicious! Only "con" is that you currently can't change milk options so it's dairy for all my lactose people out there. Regardless it was very delicious. The place itself is very clean and the service was nice/fast.

Ordered a bunch of items! First time here and was excited to try. We ordered the following: Beef and broccoli Mapu tofu Soup dumpling Orange chicken Eggplant w green beans Fried rice Egg and tomato Chow mein Everything was a winner except for the orange chicken, which was too hard on the outside and didn't have enough sauce, and the soup dumplings, which were very firm and chewy. Neither were really bad though, totally edible, and everything else was delicious. I especially loved the tofu. The beef and broccoli had really good quality beef, very tender. The chow mein noodles had fresh veggies. Everything was cooked really nicely recommend!

The service was great and they were helpful with explaining everything and even provided samples. Their food isn't super oily or salty or greasy which is nice. We ended up buying 2 à la cart entrees and 3 boba drinks for around $25. What's good Is that one entree could be made into 2 meals if you have some rice or bread at home. I also like their motto of offering value costs for the food. Their combos at around $11-12 also come with a decent amount of food. It's comparable (maybe a little cheaper) to fast food but you'll be getting something home made, fresh and tasty.

I was pleasantly surprised to stumble across Urban Feast during their soft opening. This is a modern, healthy take on prepared, Chinese "fast food". The store was clean, bright, and welcoming. The chef seemed passionate about the food as he was talking to another customer. The staff person who helped me was friendly, warm, and customer service oriented. We wanted to wait for a fresh batch of the eggplant dish which was empty, and he kept is informed during our wait. Super fresh food, authentic, well seasoned, not too salty or oily. Great options. About 4 vegan dishes, additional vegetarian option if you count the fried rice (has eggs). Love the premise of the restaurant: convenient, healthy dishes, small portions that are adequate and very fairly priced, allowing you to try many different dishes. Also, prevents waste. Leftover food doesn't usually taste as good; but they have cute blue to go containers if you need. They also offer free house made pickled radish - super refreshing, crunchy, and a perfect balance of savory, sweet, sour, and heat! I also ordered a passion fruit iced tea. It was well made, real passion fruit seeds, and not overly sweet (no adjustment). I'll definitely be coming back here again. :)

3/7/26 Newly opened Chinese food place in Cerritos, on its soft opening phase, give them some love & try what they have to offer. Staff are friendly & welcoming. Rita was all smiles & enticed me to go in try free samples. Tasted the tofu. Kung Pao chicken & orange peel chicken--all delicious. Loved the crunch & fresh taste of the orange peel chicken. They have combos & a la carte items. You may choose from the already cooked foods or have it freshly cooked upon request. Dine- in or to go offered. Additionally, there's milk tea/boba drinks & self-serve fountain drinks like soda pop. It is bright, modern & airy, only indoor seating, new furnishings. Parking is shared among businesses & could be challenging during peak hours. This shop shares the same plaza with The Original Thai Bbq, DQ Ice Cream & Kusina Filipina. Portions are just right. Tasty, fresh & good selection. Give them a try.

Fresh yummy food. Very affordable. Quick and friendly service. We ordered a bit of everything and shared. The whole family left full and happy. Better than Panda. Excellent orange chicken and soup dumplings. Nice location close to the mall.

Picked up from this place 3 times now and every time it's been fresh and delicious. It's like 10 steps up from your typical fast food spots. Has a nice homemade feel, like something my mom would make and pack for me to take home. Everything I've tried has been really good, and I've pretty much gone through most of the dishes. My favorite so far is the tomato scrambled egg. They're still in soft opening, so I'm hoping they add more items later. Oh, and the prices are super reasonable.

Second time eating here! This restaurant is a small business owned by a very sweet family. Everyone that works here is very kind and helpful. I came at 3pm & at 5pm, parking is usually available with no rush. I highly recommend their orange chicken and eggplant and green beans. The portions are great for family style and don't make me feel sick or bloated after eating.

They're currently doing their soft opening now. Parking is easy in this plaza but the lines are a little faded. We spent about $40ish for three people so it is affordable in this economy. The food was good too, but man there should be a VERY SPICY warning on the hunan beef dish cause it had me sweating! Not a fan of the plastic packaging because it feels very wasteful. If you dine in, there's actually bowls so next time we will try doing dine in. We got chow mein, fried rice, orange chicken, eggplant with string beans, broccoli, hunan beef. Other dishes I was interested in were tomato and egg, mapo tofu, and Kung pao chicken. Hopefully when they're past their soft opening they will have more dishes. Would be nice if there was some cold dishes to pick out too.

Urban Feast is soooo yummy!!! Food is fresh, and plenty flavorful! It's a new spot in the block, but it instantly reminded me of Tigawok which is super exciting to have something, perhaps tastier, and local. Like Tigawok, portion sizes and prices are very nice and economical. Absolutely loved all 3 bowls I tried and will be eager to return to try the other items (and especially more Mapo Tofu)! Highly Recommend, don't hesitate and give this place a try! :) Note: I did takeout, and I went in around the time they opened for the day and not every dish was readily available to serve with a 5-15 minute wait. Which I take as a good sign since you know the food isn't sitting out all day.

Sad to to say, this location is probably the worst one I have been to. Actually, my experience here was one was pretty bad compared to most boba shops. Why may you ask? Let me tell you a little story, You may skip to the end if you don't like reading. So this happened last weekend. Just had a wonderful Easter lunch and was spending time with family who I haven't seen in a couple months. Was having a good afternoon and wanted to treat everyone to nice boba treat. Lucky for me, they were running a promotion of a BOGO if you did a coloring page. I had spent the previous night coloring a masterpiece! Recalling back all the coloring skills I had back in elementary school as well as my collage art classes. Fighting through hand cramps and stress from using only a basic 12 color pencil kit to make my multicolor work of art, needless to say, I was looking forward to presenting my work to get a well deserved delicious drink bonus. Already had my eye on their Dubai chocolate frosty drink. Sunday was going great, feelings running high, until my GF and I walked into this place. Got up to the register/kiosk to order. The kiosk had nothing about the BOGO so we had to get the attention of the lone worker to help.. If help was the right word... We rang the bell and waited for a bit before the worker came. Long story short, he said he was not trained for it and had to text his manager. He just left and continued to make drinks since there was a lot of people waiting around for theirs and I could see the online orders printing out, adding to his work load. So we waited, 5 mins, 7 mins, 10 mins. nothing. No acknowledgement. No communication. meanwhile a small line had formed behind us, and I was feeling the social anxiety. I got the workers attentions and asked if there was any progress? He said the manager hasn't responded. I asked if he could call her instead of texting. He said he was too busy and left us there... W.....T......H.... At this point, we stepped to the side to allow people to use the Kiosk since we apparently weren't helped. We waited like chumps for another 10-15 minutes, no acknowledgement, and at this point I got Hangry.. So I made a joke with my GF that I could probably order a pizza and get it before this guy helps us. Hahaha.. funny joke right? EEEEHHHG! wrong... since that's exactly what happened! I ordered domino's pizza. We kept asking for help but the workers basically didn't do anything. When my app said my pizza was ready, that's when I knew we just wasted our time. 45 ish minutes for nothing. On our way out, my girl friend was nice enough to let people know who had the coloring pages in their hand that the worker doesn't know how to apply the discount, and that we waited for almost an hour. We considered going to the Fullerton location but at this point my Hangryness was at peak. I'm over it. So we left frustrated, angry and disappointed. I had to let my family know that there was no Boba for anybody. Much disappointment since everyone was looking forward to a nice tasty, frosty drink. Made me feel like a big L. Why would management run a promotion and not train workers for it? Why was there only 1 worker on a busy Easter Sunday? Talk about bad planning and training. Ironic thing is that they had the advertising for the promo right next to the Kiosk! SMH. They should have called this place "SunWrong DMV". Nothing going right, no help and long lines. They almost ruined my day, but at least the pizza didn't let us down. -- So in conclusion, be wary if you come here especially if there is a promotion, order online and expect a wait during the weekends.
