Both the Signature Potstickers and Signature Dumplings have the same filling so I'm assuming it's the same if you were to order the Kimchi version. The Signature filling has a good amount of meat and veggies. I prefer the Potstickers because I found the crunchy texture better suited with the filling. The Corn Chowder was okay, it had corn and pork in it. It was simple so there wasn't anything bad or good about it. The employees are very kind and helpful! I asked the employee in the front if he preferred the Signature or Kimchi, and he told me he recommended the Signature first to try it out. I am now interested in trying out the Kimchi version too. The restaurant is clean and has plenty of seating. There is seating indoor and outdoors, there are water cups near the register, and a sauce station on the left side of the counter. Came on a Tuesday around 6pm for dinner. It wasn't busy inside, and we got our food within 5 minutes. The beef noodle soup was delicious, and so were the kimchi potstickers; but for some reason, the signature potstickers tasted a little off, compared to the ones I had at the Irvine and Santa Clara location. This place is not bad. Dumpling fast food restaurant. They had Pepsi products and I'm not a huge fan of Pepsi. After ordering, they give you a number to sit down. We ordered the pork chop set and that came with a free drink. The pork chop is really tasty and crispy. The signature noodle is a bit mala, but is tasty. We also got the signature potstickers. They weren't that crispy, but still pretty tasty. I love the noodles, but they don't taste as good if you take it to go. It's a bit hard to go to as it's in the outside of the mall. It's a dry noodle, and the portion is very fair. -Order of 6 Potstickers (3/5): The potstickers are mid. Flavorwise they're acceptable, however, I feel like the filling is pretty sparse and it's kind of lost in the skin -Order of 6 Signature Dumplings (5/5): These are fantastic! I waited 17 minutes, then came back in to check on my order. Two workers standing at the front by the cash register immediately went and hid in the kitchen. TBH i found this by accident, wasnt looking for dump a lumps, didnt even know of this chain of dumplings. Very surprised to find a place serving dumplings & potstickers. This is like comfort food for us - Wake up miss your moms cooking, boil water, throw in frozen dumps, 6-12 min later tadaaa a meal. In an age where going out to eat is like $18-40 for any meal, $6.50 for 6 dumplings/potstickers or like $13 for 12 is a freaking steal. The combo options are looking pretty nice too 12dumps & a hot sour soup for like $13-15? Full meal. Sauces you ratio blend on your own. Theres no guide so I think if youre a first timer for dump a lumps (boiled or pan fried) youd be lost. At least DTF they give u their recommended blend (ginger + soy vinegar). Personally I hate vinegar (yet i love hot and sour soup) so i tried blending 1/2soy 1/4garlic 1/8hotsauce 1/8vinegar. And as a backup i also made a 3/4soy 1/8vinegar 1/8hotsauce. I think i liked the garlic one more. The dumplings are filling. I dip, bit off half, then dip again so the inside gets sauced too. Taste is hmmkay, its not DTF level mouthgasmplosion, buttt its solid food. The pork chop was a little reconstructed, and the beef noodle soup was good, but the daikon instead of carrot and no tendons was weird to me. There is a lot of seating, but where people order, where people get drinks and sauces, where people wait, and where they sit might be hard to navigate around each other. Not a problem on a weekday lunch, but might be frustrating later. Lots of taiwanese old ladies complaining about prices, so if you understand mandarin, just pretend you dont. Our first time here. We found this place at the Cerritos shopping mall and thought that it would be similar to another dumpling house that we enjoyed located in Tustin, Super Dumplings. You really can't compare these two dumpling houses because their menu is different, first, and I suspect that the dumplings come from different regions of China. Bafang Dumplings originated out of Taiwan. The restaurant is bright and airy. They have indoor and limited outdoor seating. The restroom is clean. Michael, the manager, introduced himself and helped with describing their menu. It is simple. We wanted "not spicy " and were told that the Old Fashion Noodles or Sesame noodles did not have any spice. The others vary with spice level. When looking at their menu this items in the red shaded area is their signature dishes. I would suggest asking them about the level of spiciness for their dumplings. If you really like their dumplings, you can purchase frozen ones that they have in their restaurant. Our orders were served to us. My wife thought that the dumplings that we ordered were very good and different from other dumplings. They are long and skinny as opposed to smaller and fatter. We ordered the chicken and cornfield dumpling had them fried as opposed to boiled. They were tasty. My old-fashioned noodles came topped with green onions. A different flavor that it is difficult for me to describe, but it did have a bit of a sweet tangy taste to it. The protein I ordered was their fried pork. It too was different. I was expecting more of what I do at home on the grill, which is salt and pepper and throw it on the grill. They actually take the pork chop and deep fry it. There is no breading or seasoning so the flavor is unique and a bit bland, in my opinion. My wife said that her dish was good. The beef was tender. The noodles had a sweet tiny taste just like mine and it it was accompanied with cucumbers. My wife and I both agreed that this dumpling house deserve three stars. Been wanting to come here for awhile and was a little let down. But its so clean and modern inside with plenty of parking. The guy who helped us was great and explained stuff since it was me and my friend's first time here. I got the 6 bafang dumplings and the pork chop PORK CHOP TO DIE FOR!! Their garlic sauce is *chefs kiss* & i love that the sauces are available on the side. I wish they were plastic knives available tho cuz it was hard to cut my chop. I was not impressed by the dumplings mainly because it was mostly cabbage (?) and very little pork. But the portions are generous for good price. My friend loved hers tho she had the same dumplings and then the potstickers and i know she was interested in the ones with kimchi. Had pretty high hopes for this place, but pretty bummed in the end. Ordered ahead online since we were on a time crunch. Tried looking for ingredients for menu items since my partner doesn't eat pork or beef. Kinda hard to find info on everything. The kimchi and pork filling was nice and the crisp on the potstickers was great, but everything was so meh. We thought the sauces would be able to save them, but the chili sauce was like thick chili water with seeds and the garlic sauce barely tasted like garlic and was just a tinge sweet. Black garlic just tasted like... garlic. We had to use our own sauces we had at home to try to eat everything. We also got the corn chowder and the beef noodle soup.
