You have to PAY FOR PARKING but that's pretty normal for Newport Beach. We usually find parking very easily near here. Interesting play structure with tons of climbing (almost like a mini ropes course) for older kids. Cons: No bathroom. No shade. The playground says it's for ages 2-12, but there's hardly anything there for a 2-3 year old, so you quickly run out of things to do. The toddler play structure is tiny, and the older kids' play structure is inaccessible for toddlers because of all the climbing required to get on it.

The equipment is great for swinging, sliding, and climbing. It's in good condition and is generally clean (no obvious signs of damage, graffiti, etc). The park is sandwiched between an apartment complex and neighborhood, so it has a safe residential feel with free, open street parking. There are a lot of bees in the grass, so be careful with that. The picnic area is covered, but it would be nice if there were shaded play areas too.
