Stopped by for the first time and was greeted very warmly by Chauncey the owner! He's front of house while his wife is the main cook. I came with a friend who's vegan. She got the daily special which was a potsticker inspired noodle dish. WOW!!!! Absolutely amazing. It was sweet and savory with lots of flavor and yummy vegetables. I ordered the biscuits and gravy because it is my favorite dish EVER. Urban Fresh did not disappoint. The homemade biscuits were fantastic, with chive mixed in throughout. I could have eaten an entire bowl of the gravy and not been disappointed! It was so so so delicious. I was nervous bc it was coconut based but it all came together very balanced and I could not detect any coconut. I also ended up getting the sweet heart juice which has beets, carrots, ginger. It was so good!!!! Chauncey blended it as soon as I ordered. He pulled out the ingredients in front of me so it doesn't get fresher than that!! Please support local! The owners are really doing something special here and I would definitely come back to enjoy more things on the menu.

Love this place! The manager and staff are just so nice and always attentive. We love to sit outside in the shade along the sidewalk and watch the world go by as we dive into one of their yummy salads. Never had a bad lunch here and all the veggies are super fresh!

We were visiting Tucson and our Flginal meal was from @urbanfreshaz It was a perfect ending before we headed out the road, going home. It was also the healthiest meal in Tucson. I have never heard of this place until a person in Vegan Tucson fb group suggested it. It has apparently opened for 10 yrs! Tucson keeps surprising me with its vegan restaurants and vegan options! Everything they serve is organic, housemade, and all vegan. The owner is really nice. He and his wife make everything from bread, biscuits, chickpea egg, seitan, gravy, plant based milk, etc. and they use organic fruits and vegetables. Hubby got the biscuits and gravy. I had the breakfast sandwich with homemade bollilo, chickpea egg, homemade sausage seitan and vegetables. They were delicious and clean meals after all the food we've been eating all week. Their smoothies with housemade plant milk were also delicious. I talked to him about seitan making and cooking. It is great to be able to talk to a person who cooks things from scratch and not processed. He let us sample his seitan turkey and housemade soup. A definite eating place to go back to for next time when we are back to Tucson which we will as I Tucson( and Kitt Peak....and Kartchner Caverns)

Amazing food options, including raw vegan options. I had the raw (living) taco wrap and it was wonderful. I appreciated the use of carrots as the "meat" instead of nuts without losing any of the essence of what it was. The owners are beautiful, loving people and the other patrons felt very comfortable -- the frequency of the restaurant reflects all of this!

I travel for work a lot so it's nice to see healthy options! Small cafe with great service. You can tell they love what they do. I will definitely be back when I travel next.

Urban Fresh is a hidden gem of downtown Tucson that everyone MUST try! I had a salad and the breakfast burrito and WOW so fresh! The owners Chauncey and Dana really care about the food quality and customer experience. It truly deserves the hype!

This has been my favorite lunch spot during my time in Tucson. I have tried a couple of salads the Green Goddess wrap (I think that was it) and smoothies. I try and eat later so getting here before 2 has proven tough! But it has been worth the rush. The smoothies seem to have a ton of healthy ingredients and taste sooooo good! Plus you can add hemp, protein and other things to make it even better. I try and do the green smoothies with as many veggies as possible. The owner (I think) is so nice- he seems to know everyone and chats with everyone like they're friends- such a welcoming environment. I've also had the same cashier each time I've gone and she is just as friendly too- hard to find service this good! And parking is limited.... But worth waiting- if you can make it!

It's hard to beat a restaurant when their dishes are made with organic, fresh, local, whole-food ingredients. But what really sets this vegan gem apart is the love and creativity that go into every wrap, salad, juice, smoothie, baked good, and everything else they make. We always feel like part of the family when we visit, and the food is always nourishing and delicious. Don't miss the Funky Monkey Smoothie (my favorite!) or the Broccoli Spinash Quiche when it's on special.

You order at the register and can choose to sit anywhere. Our food came out quickly. We ordered the Guilin dried style and the other bowl with broth. The noodle bowl includes rice noodles. meat-based spiced sauce, spicy pickled greens & bamboo, pickled long beans, roasted peanuts, and you can choose between 2 proteins. For my two proteins, I chose crispy pork belly and pork intestine. I wish they gave a little more because it was so good. I personally loved the dry one because the noodles soaked well with the sauce. The sauce was sooo gooodddd. The noodles were perfectly cooked - had a good soft bounce to it. The guilin with broth was also so good. The broth was perfectly cooked chicken broth. The pickled greens were a nice touch to balance the flavors. I wish this place was closer to me because I literally would go every week. This is one of the best noodle bowls I had in such a long time. Next time when I am in Tucson, I am going to try their other menu items because everything looked so good. Very reasonable price and great portions. There were lots of tables inside. Absolutely Worth the Drive!…read more We were visiting from West Phoenix and decided to try Falora Pizza, and I'm so glad we did! This place is definitely worth the drive. It's a smaller restaurant, but it's beautiful inside and has such a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The music was lovely, and the whole place had a really nice vibe. We ordered the Margherita pizza, Bianca pizza, Gnocchi, Piastra zucchini noodles, two sodas, and a Prosecco. Everything we tried was so good! The pizza crust was one of my favorite parts. It was cooked perfectly and had that nice little crunch without being too hard. The Margherita was delicious, and the Bianca was just as good. The Piastra zucchini noodles with house-made pesto, heirloom cherry tomatoes and spinach were AMAZING! I'm honestly still thinking about them. The Gnocchi with shiitake mushrooms, vegetable broth and ginger glaze was also delicious and something a little different. We had four dishes, drinks and Prosecco, and our total was under $99, which I thought was a great price for everything we enjoyed. I also thought it was really cool that when you check out, there's an option to claim a neighborhood reward through Cash App that can be used with participating local businesses or toward coming back to Falora. I love seeing ways to support local businesses and the neighborhood. Overall, we had such a great experience. Great food, beautiful atmosphere, delicious pizza and a crust that was cooked just right.

After grabbing a drink next door at Sidecar, I was pleased to see that Falora was open just a few steps away. It's a tiny place, but we were able to be sat immediately at the communal table. We ordered a couple of drinks and started with the butter pecan salad. This was so yummy. I loved the goat cheese and the apricot dressing. It was definitely a refreshing choice for this hot summer day. We also split a couple of pizzas: the marinara and the Margherita. Both of these were topped with fresh basil and the crust was perfect perfectly crispy. Like all woodfired pizza, it does have a little bit of a char to it, but I love that. Overall, the service here was great and I would definitely come back. It also looks like you can order pizza to go and take it to the cocktail lounge next door. There's plenty of parking here, but it does get packed on a Friday night. There's some outdoor seating but on a rainy night it can get pretty cramped inside.

We arrived at Renee's with our boys on a 90+ degree Arizona day, hot, hungry, and excited to celebrate them after their first flag football game. Instead of sitting down to enjoy a meal, we were told that families with children are only allowed to dine on the patio. Meanwhile, the air-conditioned dining room was completely empty. Not "almost full." Empty. I understand that businesses are allowed to have their own policies, but expecting families with young children to sit outside in 90+ degree heat while an empty, air-conditioned dining room sits right there is certainly a choice. And not a particularly welcoming one. Apparently, celebrating your kids after their first flag football game meant sweating through dinner on the patio while an entire empty dining room sat comfortably indoors. With the temperature over 90 degrees, that was not a reasonable option for our family. Needless to say, we left. Tucson has plenty of wonderful restaurants where families can celebrate, cool off, and enjoy a meal indoors without being limited to the patio simply because they brought their children. So no, I can't tell you whether the pizza is good. We never got that far. I can tell you the hospitality left a bad enough taste that we won't be back to find out
