    Amazing Chicken Shawarma Plate!

Amazing food, large portion fresh Mediterranean salad. Loved every bite! I am definitely coming back for more when I visit the town.

Full lamb/beef gyro, partial Greek salad, partial order of fries

One million/10, will order again soon. The gyro meat was sliced from a cone (as it should be!) and the servings were plentiful. French fries PERFECT. Tzatziki sauce OUTSTANDING. Gyro AMAZING. Thank you!

Casual takeout spot in SLU, order at the window - very quick and convenient. There are a few tables inside to sit in. It's warm inside though be forewarned for warm days! You can pick a protein and order it in sandwich, plate, or salad form. Tried the #1 Lamb and Beef Gyro Sandwich ($10.99) - it was simple, tasty, and amazing. The pita bread was super soft and the tzatziki was also excellent. Good amount of protein. The iceberg lettuce and tomatoes were perfect for crunch.

A quick, convenient gyro spot! The food is good and prices are fair. There's not a lot of seating, so this is more of a grab and go place. I got the chicken gyros and split the Greek fries. The chicken gyros were tasty and came with a lot of chicken! I had enough leftovers to last the next day. The chicken was a little on the drier side, but overall felt like this was a good meal for the price. I really enjoyed the Greek fries; the fries were perfectly crisp and I loved all the toppings. Would recommend this!

Great lamb and beef gyro plate! Absolutely delicious! The rice was surprisingly fluffy and made the dish that much better. Excellent service as well - I was about to order a side salad, but the man behind the counter informed me that the plate came with a salad. Some other places would've just taken the order and stuck me with extra salad, but he was more concerned about serving his customers well. It's the reason I'm writing this review. I'll be back often and plan to become a regular.

I just moved to Seattle, and this is one of the first places I have eaten at. It. Is. Good. I used to live in Chicago 5 years ago, where there were tons of restaurants that served delicious gyros. I haven't had good gyro meat since... up until now. I ordered the gyro plate. It's a bit pricier than I'm used to, but I guess this is near the center of Seattle so ok FINE, I shall ignore that. It comes with a simple fresh salad of tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, lettuce, a sprinkling of feta cheese, and a couple delicious kalamata olives, just be careful they still have pits inside. It also comes with perfectly seasoned yellow rice, which complements the wonderful slices of gyro meat that is piled up on top of it. Finally there is tzatziki sauce in a cup... I will say I much prefer the cucumber sauce they use in Chicago, but this one, which is more like a dill sauce, is good in its own way. I also tried the tahini sauce which was great (it's kind of like a thin hummus), and the spicy sauce. Everything went well together. OH it also came with a soft warm pita which I used to make my own gyro sandwich with, using the ingredients in the plate! By the way, the plate was big enough to feed me twice. If I wanted to eat lighter, maybe twice and a snack. I don't usually eat that lightly, though.

Cute little gyro place! My beef & lamp gyro plate was amaaazing - the meat was super tender & flavorful, and a good simple salad with rice. We LOVED the Greek fries, they were absolutely amazing!!!! However our side of falafel was super dry and crumbly... seemed like it was old or maybe just an off-day. They have pretty good tzatziki sauce though!! Portions were decently sized. I'd definitely go back again for those Greek fries and the gyro plate.

A simple summary is edible food, ok service, and very small space and underwhelming atmosphere. None of the food shined.

Highly recommend the three dip (current seasons is beet and it's my fav) with the flat bread. The flat bread comes out steaming. Trumpet mushroom is Smokey and juicy. However after we expressed that we didn't want to wait that long, we were told that if we wanted outdoor seating they could actually seat us in less than half an hour. We chose the outdoor seating option and took a quick stroll in the quiet neighborhood before coming back. Our server told us that Homer's plates are meant to be family style and shared so their general recommendation is 1 large plate or 2 small plates per person. For us, we ordered the Set of top 3 spreads, lamb ragu on tahini and we were served with 5 pieces of warm pita. We also ordered Grilled Pork with Stinging nettles, raw albacore tuna with taramasalata, and smoked and shaved kohlrabi. Our server warned us that the pork was going to be on the fatty side but we were still surprised by how fatty it was. The spreads for the pita were amazing as usual-- their seasonal flavors taste amazingly fresh. Our table wanted to order more pita and when someone came by to take the empty plate they asked if we wanted more which we did let them know but even by the time we finished all the plates, we never got the additional pita so we just took it off. The Kohlrabi was an amazingly refreshing palette cleanser before the pork-- super light and refreshing. After we finished our meal we grabbed some soft serve from the window and wow, for 7$ it's quite a lot of ice cream! The flavors that were offered when we were there was Dark Chocolate and Kettlekorn. I sampled the swirl and the fusion of the saltiness of the kettle korn, the slight bitter and sweetness of the dark chocolate was immaculate. Final thoughts: very cool experience, inside I could see the open kitchen and the stone wood fired oven and the ingredients tasted amazing. However it is a little inconvenient that it's walk in unless you're a party of 6 since the lines and wait can get incredibly long. It's also difficult to find parking in the area. Very neat experience!

I got a build-my-own saj wrap with the mushroom base saj $6, sumac chicken $7, tomato $1.5, cucumber $1.5, pickled turnip $1, and a side of hot sauce $2. The saj bread itself tasted good, but got soaked through by the juice of the chicken and became very soggy. We walked to a park 10 minutes away to eat the wraps and the wraps were bending. The ingredients are fresh but nothing particularly stood out. I didn't quite taste the mushroom on the wrap, and on top of that, I got charged $2 for the hot sauce, but never tasted it in the wrap or found it on the side. My partner got the falafel saj wrap which was overall ddcent, but he also found the saj bread quite soggy, yet the falafels were on the dry side.

The signature saj bread is cooked fresh on a hot stone and is almost like a Middle Eastern flour tortilla with the way it's super thin and satisfyingly chewy bite. The only seating options are a few large benches on the sidewalk, but there's a poster saying you're welcome to sit at the neighboring bar which opens in the late afternoon provided you purchase a drink as well. Ended up sampling 3 of their wrap options and the Zaatar Wrap was deliciously nutty and fragrant, but texturally there was so many herbs that the center ate a little dry. The Lahme Khuruf (Lamb) was my favorite by far with super juicy ground meat with some tang from the labneh, sweetness, freshness from the tomato, and texture from the pine nuts. Absolute home run on this one! The Awarma and Cheese was a close second, but personally, the flavor profile was just a little less interesting than the lamb. Tip: grab some extra napkins as the wraps can fall apart a bit at the end!
