Urban Momo is in San Pedro square in the food court. There are tables indoors and outdoors but is shared with other businesses. Ordering occurs at the counter. There are menus available so you can order at counter. Service was friendly. They give a number and you'll get buzzed when ready to pick up. We appreciated the to go package of our delicious items. Both had very good spice and flavor. I really liked the noodles of the chow mien. Definitely a delicious option in the food court.

My partner got the chicken momos to share and they are delightfully steamed and delicious to the taste buds!

Their spicy noodles are so delicious here! Located at San Pedro square, parking can be tricky but these noodles are worth it! Service was quick and employee was friendly. Lots of places to sit and eat inside .

This is my boyfriend's favorite place to stop by for food during Fanime. He had it 3 times a row one year because the prices are pretty reasonable. His go-to is the chicken tikka masala because it tastes sooo good especially when you add a naan ($4 each). I jump around in the menu but everything I've had tasted amazing. You order at the counter and they give you a buzzer so that you can have a seat while waiting for the food. The food hall is pretty big so there's always a table available.

I have ordered previously from this restaurant. This time we are at San Pedro Square. The food was excellent. A nice kick of spice as well. I wish the chicken momo had a little less turmeric. Earlier I ordered the gobhi Manchurian for a lunch party and it was very good as well. My favorite go to place for Nepali food in San Jose.

Got the chicken momo chili. Great flavors! Lots of food. Nice setting. Again service is nil.

Stopped by here during Fanime! It's located in the San Pedro Square Market. Since it's a food court, it WILL get quite busy during peak hours on the weekends, especially if there's a holiday or an event going on (aka Fanime lol). There's seating inside (limited) and some seating outside too. Just grab a table and send your people out to order food. Most businesses here will either text you or have a buzzer notify you when your food is ready. For our dinner, we got the: 1) Chicken Momos: -These are Nepali dumplings served with their traditional dipping sauce, achaar. This is apparently a South Asian pickle sauce. It does have a slight sourness to it, from the fact that it's pickled and it gives a refreshing flavor to the food. -The dumplings are nice and juicy with moist meat inside. Exterior was not too delicate and not too thick or dry either. Can't go wrong with some solid dumplings. 2) Paneer Tikka Masala: -These are grilled cheese cubes served in their red, creamy sauce. -This has a slight sweetness and spiciness to it. -I feel like you can go wrong with any form of cheese dish. What is this if not another form of mozzarella stick? Though not as gooey, it's still pretty good. -Probably my favorite of the 3 that we ordered. 3) Szechuan Mixed Fried Rice: -This comes with chicken, scrambled eggs, veggies, spicy sichuan peppers, and garlic. -Very flavorful rice that packs a punch and lingering heat. Actually decently spicy. -Good amount of protein mixed into the fried rice. I think my only qualm with it (and I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like this), but the fried rice texture was a bit soggy and gooey. Not bad, but became a bit heavy to eat (probably due to the oiliness). Decently unique and flavorful food in DT SJ within walking distance of the convention center!

Nepalese food is always a nice solid option to satisfy the soul. I was about to order some normal momos then I saw that this place had deep fried momos. Never had a deep fried version, so I knew that I needed to try it. So I ordered this and the mango lassi. The mango lassi. Total everything was about 20 dollars, not the cheapest. The mango lassi was nice and tart but it was pretty small size. The momos took a long time to come out, I am going to give the benefit of the doubt because I believe they were making it with the best quality in mind. The momos finally came out with their two sauces. There were six deep fried chicken momos and as I took a bite the juices came out, a good indicator. It was nice hot, crunchy and juicy. Dip it with their sauces for extra spice and flavors. The only thing is the price I believe for 6 momos it is about 14 to 15 bucks pretty steep but always worth a try.

SERVICE - located inside San Pedro Square Market - parking garages or street parking nearby - plenty of indoor and outdoor seating - order at counter and then take buzzer if eating in or doing takeout - food takes about 15 minutes to prepare - ambiance good for casual meal - restrooms inside and outside market MENU - wide selection of Nepali momos, noodles, and fried rice - vegan and gluten free options marked - average price ($15 per entree) FOOD - vegan momo chili (8/10): six fried vegetable filled momos coated in sweet and spicy chili sauce with bell peppers and onions. This dish tastes like a cross between Gobi Manchurian and momos. The sauce is sticky and spicy with just the right hint of sweetness. I liked how the momo skins were still crispy and did not get soggy with the sauce. WOULD I GO BACK? Yes! These momos were some of the better ones that I have had

The momos are decent, but I didn't like the fried rice. The place also felt a bit expensive for the portion sizes.

Where are you guys located exactly? I entered the public market entrance n saw nearby places like crepes and more but I couldn't find your spot. Looked for it more than half hour. Tried to call but no one picked up.

They are located in the back. Go through the courtyard, all the way to the rear building. They are located next to the pho place and a few stalls from treat bot.

I don't live in Evergreen anymore but I definitely, plan on making trips out that way for the rest of the menu offerings. Highly recommended!

This is one of the handful of American Chinese restaurants that stood the test of time. As is typical of these places, there was an old lady manning the counter and also acting as the server. And as is typical of these places, there was table at the end where they were prepping the fruits and veggies. It's truly remarkable how they are all similar in these ways! We got a couple of dishes and they came out at lightning speed. * Chowmein-3/5- delicious with lots of umami flavor but shockingly greasy. I mean I am used to oily noodles but this one exceeded some limits. *crispy salt and pepper eggplant-3/5- I had a stellar version of this dish at another restaurant in Sunnyvale and was stoked when I saw this on the menu here. Unfortunately it was a poor representation of the dish I loved there. The batter was too much and the dish felt heavy. The hot oil or sauce they had felt old and extremely vinegary as well, I would recommend avoiding it.
