Just came here to offset the review complaining about being sat where you could see the server station. I also was sat at this table and enjoyed a fabulous meal. If i wanted a different view, I simply turned my head slightly to the left. Service was great. We enjoyed a bottle of wine, warm bubbly cheesy crab dip served with a baguette to start, soup du jour which was a black bean chorizo soup packed with flavor, a filet that wasn't overly seasoned cooked perfectly, and last but not least, the star of the show was the wild mushroom ravioli. Skip the espresso martini, and the complimentary bread wasn't my favorite, but all else a great experience. Wish we had room for dessert. Next time! read more

This place is wonderful! My daughter had already visited it and highly recommended it to my wife and I. We decided to try it tonight with some friends that came to visit from Georgia. The whole experience was delightful! We love Chef Ercan and his new restaurant. We met him years ago when he was at The Green Turtle. Everything that we tried was amazing. I had the Wild mushrooms Chardonnay soup and the Chateaubriand and it was extraordinary. My wife had the Chilean sea bass They had a jazz quartet with great music. We really enjoyed our time sitting by the fire, listening to music. Needless to say, this has already become our favorite spot. Top notch ambiance, service, friendliness, cleanliness. Second time here for dinner. First time was eh but family in town so decided to try again. Food poisoning 1/26 from the sea bass entree!!Fortunately only one of us ordered it. The $50 filet mignon was tender but no flavor. The Prime Steak Sauce ($3) was ketchup. The calamari dipping sauce was not good (green citrus). The cheesecake was store bought and did not taste fresh. We did like the Caesar brussel sprouts but will not be going back. read more

When parked on the street wasn't quite sure what was the primary entry; also had to search for the main hostess stand. Greeted by a friendly staff and was able to obtain a table and have a delicious mojito while waiting to be seated. We were told the wait was 45 minutes because we didn't have reservations but it wasn't that long. Once seated, our server Ashley was very attentive and provided a pleasant service during our dining experience. Quite a lot of tables inside to serve various sizes of parties. Best meal we have had in Melbourne since moving here a few months ago. We started with the caprese. It had the best buratta cheese we have ever had. Top notch wedge salad and an amazing filet. My wife had the gnocchi with chicken. Our server, Melissa, recommended delicious choices, is super nice, and an attentive server. (We already told the manager what a delight Melissa is.) Sweet girl and an excellent wait person. My only recommendation as it is considered an upscale restaurant, is all staff should be dressed more professionally. The wait staff are dressed appropriately but the food runners and anyone in and out of the dining area should be dressed appropriately with button down shirts and nice slacks and shoes for a restaurant at this level and especially pricing T-shirts with the restaurant logo on the back is for a sports bar or a TGIF. A button down black shirt alone with the logo would even suffice. The Tshirts have to go. They are a bit of a turn off paying these prices in such a beautiful restaurant Also there was one young man with shoulder length dark hair walking around which is probably or should be a violation issue. All hair that long should be tied back. Just our opinion. We will return. We love UP read more

The only downside was, they didn't have the dried age steaks that we had anticipated having. Disappointing. Service was just bad. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. Served our appetizer and ate it before drinks even came. We had to ask for water, we were served our food without any set ups. I had a filet mignon which was cooked correctly, but unfortunately it wasn't very tasty and tough. They did not give me a steak knife with my meal.. The raviolis tasted OK but it was almost like a soup not very appetizing. Seabass was all right. Ordered the sauce on the side thank goodness cause it was mediocre at best. Nope won't be going back. We started off with a decaf espresso mock-tini. It was absolutely delish. For appetizers we had the oysters Rockefeller, and tuna tataki. Dinner was the chickpea vegan dumplings and the brined pork chop. The oysters were excellent. The tuna came on a bed of kimchi which was absolutely delicious! I don't even like kimchi but this was crisp, fresh, and so wonderfully spiced. It also had a basil oil drizzled on the side which was very good. The chickpea dumplings had a nice flavor but there was a hot spice in it that was too much for my pallet. The brined pork chop was served with a sweet potatoes and apple -sprout hash. Very nice with the chops. Our server Kenneth was kind enough to switch out my chick peas for some wild mushroom and Chardonnay soup. He was awesome, very attentive and patient with all our questions. As for the Mushroom Chardonnay soup... Best. Soup. EVER!!! OMG. You'll want to lick the bowl! read more

Not a great experience. Had a reservation and got seated but was told they didn't have any servers there yet. Sat for a while before someone came over . Ordered calamari for a starter. It wasn't good - undercooked and the breading fell off . There were more peppers and other things in it than the calamari . I give it a 3/10. I ordered the pork chops. They were pretty thin and overcooked 3/10. Side of sautéed spinach 5/10. Caesar salad came with anchovies in it after they asked if I wanted them and told them no. Then they brought another Caesar salad with anchovies again?? The server dropped utensils on my 84 yr old mom. The other people with me weren't very impressed with their meals either: parm crusted salmon 6/10/ chicken with mushrooms ( no mushrooms) 4/10 bland no flavor and the pilaf rice was hard and tasted like cardboard. The 50$ filet was cooked well 7/10 and the special mashed potatoes was the best thing9/10. Service was bare minimum and just not a good night for 200$ meal. We will not go back . All of us were pretty disappointed. Outback or longhorn is better than this place. It's a shame the place has potential but is not managed well and the food is mediocre at best. read more

Went for lunch. Reduced menu was a surprise, as well as an even more reduced happy our menu. So we settled for the happy hour menu. Ordered Sliders, Baked Oysters (w/o spinach) and truffle fries. 15 min after ordering we got the truffle fries, lukewarm. 20 minutes later we got the sliders and oysters. Sliders were way too salty(and I love salt) so that was another surprise. Needless to say they have no idea how to prepare an oyster and have it be correct. (Take a trip to half shell oyster house!) would do the cook wonders when it comes to preparing oysters properly. Even the complementary champagne had something floating in it. Obviously they did comp everything so I do appreciate the manager and the waitress was very nice and apologetic. It's unfortunate because our hopes were high and we really wanted steak but that wasn't a menu option. The outdoor area was a nice setting. read more
