Delicious salads and sandwiches, great healthy ingredients, very nice customer service!

The Henderson, NV location. We stopped in for the grand opening and I went back with my son. The menu has a lot of unique sandwiches and combinations. The team of course was still learning the menu and working hard to accommodate the number of guest patronizing their new restaurant. They were great. As a teacher, you usually get overlooked at times during celebrations and yet are also always the first they point the finger at. So when an establishment reaches out to support teachers, you can't help but embrace them! We received an email saying Urbane Cafe would be offering a free meal for teachers during their grand opening on November 1 and 2. Now we teach closer to the NW but we decided it was inviting enough to take advantage of the offer. We had to order online and use a promo code. The nice thing was that we were able to see what we wanted ahead of time and have it ready when we got there. The menu is fairly extensive with a nice variety of salads and sandwiches. The Californian sandwich really jumped out at me so that is what I ordered along with a side of focaccia bread. I also signed up for the rewards program to get a free chocolate chip cookie. When we got there, there was a big tent in front with promotional pamphlets. The entrance is actually right next to this little one way alley way (which we saw from the back entrance but were scared to use). Inside was very clean and bright and inviting and I think the owner or manager welcomed us as we came in. They have tablet kiosks to order and right next to it was a very crowded set of shelves with all of the online/to-go orders. It was fairly easy to find our stuff. My cookie was a separate order and I wasn't sure if it was in the same bag or separate but a nice gal went and grabbed one for me. We didn't get home until about 40 minutes later but the food was still in great shape. The bread was lightly warm, thick, and flavorful. The Californian was oozing with melted cheese and large chunks of artichoke hearts. The combination of flavors was a nice acidic balance along with the avocado, tomatoes and lettuce. Honestly the bread is just what put this sandwich over the top! For a side salad it was surprisingly full of flavor. It had mandarin oranges in it and mixed greens. The balsamic vinegar dressing was a powerful punch and the remaining tasted amazing on the focaccia. The chocolate chip cookie was also packed with chocolate chip goodness. I actually took just a corner and I could taste the richness. My husband and son finished the rest of it off pretty quickly. The only downside is that it is so far away from us but I would never take off stars for that. If they had a closer one that would really sell me! If you're looking for great flavor profiles, amazingly fresh focaccia bread, as well as friendly service, this is the place for you! read more

So this is new in an area that has 100's of dining options. Make this one to try out. Fresh baked bread Oven roasted meats and veggies Fresh everything for that matter We went with 7 of us and tried probably half the menu... The team inside working hard and made sure we had enough of everything g for the group to enjoy. Service for quick service was fast and courteous. Urbane Cafe's interior is industrial, think Chipotle, however way brighter and it was done nicely for the holiday's. Extra points for that from me. Before I get to the food, note that the apple slaw is top-notch. Made fresh and it is used on several sandwiches, it complements them well, very well and is not over vinegary. Secondly, the bread is really good and fresh, none of this nonsense where it comes in a frozen loaf and then gets baked, they make it there, you can see the mixer when ordering. Of everything we tried, told were: BBQ Tri-Tip: delightful and tasty, a little kick of spice mellowed out by...the apple slaw. Pastrami Tri-Tip: again beer for the win! Pastrami is a treat when done right, plenty of places out there make pastrami and it's a rubbish! Take this from a native northeasterner, Urbane does it right. Power Veggie: this is a huge veggie salad served with that warm bread. Any protein can be added to this as well. The pizza was good, sauce was a little sweet for my tastes, but my kids loved it. Worth a shot in the busy Sunset/Galleria area, especially since it has sodas that use real cane sugar and not corn syrup in any form. read more

I finally went to Urbane Cafe! The ambiance was warm and bright. The customer service experience was amazing, everyone was really sweet and patient while new customers were trying to figure out their new go to's . They have an area for you to order, an online pick up area, and cashier station ( if that's your jam). The music is tasteful & nostalgic and the restaurant was super duper clean. They also have runners to check on you as you dine in. My mom asked how the base of the chicken tortilla soup is made and they took the time to show her all of the ingredients which was super nice because it didn't feel like a burden to the staff. My mom also asked for cheese in the soup & they were happy to accommodate her request. I went ahead and tried the steak sandwich. My steak sandwich had feta, arugula, a cranberry chutney and chimichurri sauce & it also came with a house salad. TBH, I think if there were pickled red onions on the sandwich it would've made the sandwich even more amazing. The goal seems to incorporate simplicity within the sandwich. Every bite had an element that stuck out. They also make the focaccia bread right in front of you, so that's pretty cool too! The cookies are to die for & they are warm, soft, and gooey. Please get the cranberry and white chocolate chip cookie!!!! We actually went back after our meal to grab more cookies to go. The strawberry yuzu lemonade is good & their cane sodas are unique with flavors like Shirley temple and snozberry. Urban Cafe finally arrives in Henderson Nevada!!! This a great place for a quick sandwich meal with a bit of an upscale fast food place. Food was all served on real plates with real flatware, not paper or plastic. Sandwich was very good, their bread is made fresh every day, throughout the day. Bread ratio to filling is perfectly balanced. Had the southwest chicken sandwich, served with nice green salad dressed with a delicious vinaigrette dressing. Definitely a thumbs up for the sandwich. The tomato bisque soup really hit the spot on this chilly afternoon. Staff were all very friendly and nice. Tried this cute spot out for the first time today. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Our table was touched no less than three times in a short lunch checking on us, offering us cookie samples, and bringing our food. Even the staff that wasn't serving us were friendly. I had the Turkey Club. It was fresh and delicious. The bacon was thick and not "fast food" like - in fact nothing we ate fell into that category. The house salad had oil and balsamic vinaigrette and was tasty and light. The bread, being freshly baked on site, was an especially nice touch. Hubby had the trip tip sandwich and had a hard time putting it down even upon getting full. He said it had a small spice to it that was terrific. We both filled up before finishing our lunches. Urbane Cafe is a must do! I am a vegetarian but my husband is not and yet we both had such a hard time deciding what to choose ... so many options for both!!! The ingredients were fresh and flavorful and we felt we really got what was pictured on the menu! We do an overnight in Las Vegas (Henderson) 8 times a year and this is going to be on the the top of our list from now on! We stopped in recently because I had a coupon from the mail. I'm SO glad I now know this place is here! We live in the area and the plaza it is at is very busy and I wouldn't have noticed it otherwise. So, the food was so good! I had the bbq chicken salad just as it is and I loved it. Each ingredient was fresh and tasted so good. The salad also came with a piece of fresh focaccia bread which was perfect. I also had a lemonade which tasted freshly made as well. They have cookies too! We tried a chocolaty chocolate cookie and it was delicious too! I honestly can't wait to comeback very soon to try other menu items! One of the freshest salads I've had in awhile! I ordered the salmon salad and it had a wide variety of veggies you wouldn't suspect such a jicama, edamame, and mango. One suggestion would be to heat up the salmon a little because I didn't expect to have a cold salmon with the salad. Otherwise, service and ambiance was great! How amazing is this place? I just came by for my first time ever as I was a flight attendant and had Katie and Oscar on a flight and they were telling me all about it so I had to come check it out. Oscar didn't lie it could be the best tri-tip sandwich I've ever had in my life, SARA the cashier was extremely friendly and helpful. Got to check our the new Urbane cafe! Cute little sandwich shop with salads and soups! Many of the sandwiches looked good but I settled on the chimichuri steak sandwich. Imagine a round focaccia loaf cut in half. That's the size of your sandwich. I tasted the chimichuri but not the cranberry aioli that comes on it. So either it wasn't on it or there wasn't enough on it to taste. Comes with a little house salad that was tasty with with balsamic and mandarin oranges. I also decided to try the Baja enchilada that came with a nice piece of focaccia as well. Lots of flavor and good to dip the focaccia in. The pop machine (yes I said pop) was pretty awesome. Personally I've never seen the Craft Batch soda brand before. It had the Shirley Temple, Snozzberry and Doc batch! I loved the Snozzberry! This was my first visit and I really wanted to love it. I very much liked the design and the menu and the service staff couldn't have been more welcoming and attentive. We didn't love our food choices, however. I had the Banh Mi and I did not enjoy it. One of the things I love about a good Banh Mi is the delicate cut sizes and layering of the ingredients, enabling you to get a different flavor and texture experience in every bite. In this sandwich, some elements were small and others were too large, but most importantly it was way over-sauced. I've never had a Bahn Mi that dripped in my hands. I ate the second half with a fork, eating the ingredients and leaving the bread. It totally ruined what I hoped would be a great bread experience, especially after seeing it baking in the oven when we we arrived. My husband has the Santa Maria BBQ Salad. He did like that it came with bread until he tried it and found it to be under-baked. The salad itself was good but the ratio of the good stuff to the salad greens was a little out of proportion. I was disappointed with our experience, but would like to try it again in a couple of months. Maybe some of the issues will be worked out by then. read more
