    Ceiling fan

US Electric Contracting has very reasonable prices. I first hired them to install a light fixture and look at my stove since it wasn't working properly. Javier was on time, very professional and got the job done. I hired him again to install ceiling fans in both my kids room. They look fantastic.

    Big 64 in

Called Javier on a Monday afternoon explaining Electrical problem on my parents Circuit breaker in East Co and he immediately responded asking if Wednesday worked for us. He showed up on time and immediately took care of the problem. We found him extremely nice, personable and very honest as the Circuit breaker only required a minor repair. He said it was old, but did not recommend spending the $$ on a new breaker. This is the 3rd time I have used Javier, Ecobee Thermostat install, large ceiling fan I purchased at Costco, and recently for the circuit breaker issue. We had the same great experience every time and referred him to our neighbor who hired him for all the Recessed lighting in their new home here in Coronado.

SeaWorld San Diego - That Orca Tail about to do some serious damage to the front row

    SeaWorld San Diego

Phenomenal! I haven't been to Seaworld in 30 years. I was about 4 or 5 years old since my last…read morevisit, so of course I expected changes. When I went here long ago, Shamu was popular. He's been dead, but his memory is still alive here. New orcas, dolphins, sea otters etc. existed. My friend and I came here since his father owns a timeshare 5 minutes away from Seaworld and we both had vacation time. We were at the Marriott hotel in downtown San Diego where the parking structure was on the top floor, unusual for sure, but necessary in order to park there due to the poor surrounding environment. A lot of places nearby including the boat museum maritime. Seaworld, changed! In the most interesting and good way possible. New rides, more things to do. Last time I went to Seaworld there were only shows involving orcas swimming in a pool of water splashing guests as the highlight, it still is there as usual, which I loved by the way and was enjoyable to witness. Rides: 1. Emperor - 5/5 amazing 90 degree drop dive coaster, with ejector air time and intense g forces, my favorite ride due to having a fresh breeze of the ocean air at the top and a beautiful view of the park. 2. Electric Eel - 5/5 bizarre coaster with a launch and a positive g roll at the top. Not that intense unfortunately, fun and intimidating, but enjoyable to go on with a friend. I enjoyed it. 3. Atlantis - 5/5 intense hybrid water ride and coaster. Two drops, the water drop was meh, but the coaster drop after was taller and more intense g forces on the drop and swivel loop below. My personal favorite tier with emperor 4. Manta - 5/5 most intense coaster there, super fun, launch coaster with strong g forces throughout. Shockingly the most intense ride at the park with the intense factor of the launches and ejector air time and speed. 5. Arctic Rescue - 5/5 super cool ice ride, it's near the penguins in the back and has a bike you sit on that has great launches and strong positive g forces on the launch, not as good as manta, but super fun, went on it more than once and enjoyed it the most. Theming of the ocean from the start before the launch was cool. 6. Skytower/skyride - admission fee rides, very relaxing, $6 per person, the skyride was fun, you sit in a carriage and observe the scenery of the ocean with a slight breeze. The skytower is a tall swiveling cylindrical seated container that overlooks sea world. 7. Closed attractions - dolphin show was closed, looks promising but was not open during spring for whatever reason, roaring rapids ride was closed in spring reopens in summer, the sea otter show closed due to renovation. Food was very nice, I enjoyed it, I got a vegetarian salad wrap at the cafeteria near the orca show. They had pretzels, fried foods, pizza and sandwiches, burgers that looked and smelled good. I saw some people with turkey leg and they had other foods at the food court. My friend liked touching the small fishies that eat dead skin near the entrance. Place is good for older kids and young adults who have children. Not as family friendly as Disneyland and Legoland due to the intensity of the attractions, especially that emperor and manta. Those two rides are more intense than any of the rides at Disneyland, better off comparing those to magic mountain and knotts berry farm level of intense. Outside of the top 2 mentioned (manta and emperor) the other three were relatively good rides with strong intensity (electric eel, Atlantis and arctic rescue) that Atlantis ride was closed for like 6 hours which was annoying and the wait time was long too maybe 2 hours, so rode that ride last just before going home. We were there right when it opened and left before the place closed. I bought a dolphin souvenir t shirt at the shop and I love it. Overall a solid 5/5 for entertainment, ambiance and overall experience. It had great themes and a beautiful environment similar to universal studios but sea based. The orca show was nice, cute host for the show and the little kids sea lion show was relatively meh. I would come back again. I enjoyed it but it is so far Southern California. Unless you live in San Diego, this place is a treat.

We absolutely loved the birria quesadilla, the sweet chili wings, and the FRIES, wow, best fries in the world with an insanely delicious homemade ranch. The drinks were also top notch. Tequila shots with fresh squeezed mango juice that come with a piece of dried mango with tajin (we were obsessed, even those who don't like tequila). The spicy mango margarita is the best marg I've had in San Diego hands down. The service was also amazing. Terrence and Miles were so accommodating of our large party, making sure nothing was missed and that we were comfortable and satisfied with our food. Absolutely can't wait to go back!

The business still features offerings from Mati's, but it is now a food collective. A chicken wing vendor and a future chicken and waffles vendor will be sharing the same kitchen. Parking is free for up to 30 minutes in the shared lot. After that duration, you need to pay at one of the available kiosks. Since these were the early days of The Playground, there were operational kinks that need to be smoothed out. First were the unusual business hours (e.g. 9 am to 9 pm on Thursday and Friday, only 7 pm to 9 pm on Sunday, etc). My initial attempt to visit occurred after work on a weekday. Despite the supposed closing time of 11 pm, the doors were locked at 5:30 pm. Second was the lack of prices on the menus. That is a cardinal sin in my book because if you are open to the public, then you owe it to the customers to disclose the costs. The first item for my to-go order was a snack size serving (six pieces) of Chicken Wings. I picked Bonnie's Barbeque for a sauce that featured a sweet and smokey flavor. The wings were coated with the sauce and not deep fried which made them a bit healthier. The second item was a Birria Quesadilla that came with consome on the side. A flour tortilla was filled with cheese, marinated shredded beef, cilantro, and onion. It was then sliced into smaller triangular pieces and then separated by aluminum foil in a takeout box. The consome had moderate richness while the cheesy, beefy tortilla was filling. I didn't understand the meaning of the new moniker as the interior setup had not been modified. It certainly did not have the ambiance of a playground. My first impression of this place was a three star rating with multiple areas of needed improvement including signage on the marquee. If one is driving down Mission Blvd, then there is no way to notice from the roadside that The Playground even exists.

Okay, that wasn't that horrible we could always come by there and get dranks. There isn't pool side service which wasn't any fun at all. We ended up leaving to go to OB for food smh. We come back for a swim and some dranks and the only bar isn't located closed! Mind you, it's a Saturday night I it was only 8. I'm not sure when their bar closes but this is just for families and not recommended for rich aunties lol. Now, I can say I had a great swim! One of the receptionist recommended a pool that isn't that popular and I got a great swim in, that's one of the reason why I went there! I really wanted to swim like I was a kid again, in a pool, just for fun, doing water tricks. Actually I will give them three stars for that and the pools are heated. They could be a tad warmer in my opinion.

This property charges like a four- or five-star hotel, but the experience doesn't come close…read more The room conditions were unacceptable. The coffee maker did not work, the refrigerator was rusted, and the bathtub was extremely small and not clean. These are basic expectations that simply were not met. The on-site menu is priced like a luxury hotel, with items such as $12 oatmeal, $20 bagels with salmon, and $18 breakfast sandwiches. There is nothing about the property or overall experience that justifies those prices. Noise and management are also a problem. At 9:30 on a Saturday morning, there were 20 to 30 people in the room next door playing loud music and carrying on, with no intervention or enforcement from staff. Access and layout make things worse. The roads are essentially one-lane and not suitable for walking, especially for older guests or anyone with mobility concerns. Parking is extremely limited, tight, and poorly managed. Even at check-in, there is no designated area, so cars stack up at the entrance, immediately creating congestion. That was the first sign of how disorganized the property is. Overall, this place is significantly overpriced for what it offers. The condition, management, and overall experience do not justify the cost. The photos and videos speak for themselves.

I pulled up Yelp and began seeing that all camera stores in my area where now closed (8:45pm on a Friday night), except for one who didn't list a closing time. I called. Trevor answered. He was just finishing up a shoot and was in my neighborhood. Minutes later, we were on the street, troubleshooting my dilemma. Within moments the issue was resolved. Service was solid, and it definitely feels like a "special occasion" kind of spot. The Wagyu burger, though, was a letdown. Amazing fries, but the burger itself was surprisingly bland--even with grilled onions and cheese. For $26-$28, the "Wagyu" label felt more like marketing than magic. I've honestly had more flavorful burgers at In-N-Out (animal style), which isn't a great look for a high-end burger. On the bright side, my wife's risotto was excellent--easy 10/10. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the risotto was rich and flavorful, and even the waitress said it's one of her favorite dishes (advice I should've taken). Bottom line: great atmosphere, good service, one standout dish--but skip the burger. I wouldn't go out of my way to return unless someone else was choosing. Perhaps we were under a speaker? The music might have been 200 db. The only way I could communicate with my wife was to literally scream at her, and that was only half successful. The service was terrible. The waitress finally came to our table after maybe 15 minutes. She started talking to us then stopped mid sentence, and went to another table. Didn't see whet again for another 15 minutes. Finally she came back and asked, can I help you. I responded, can we get some drinks please. Anyway we ordered our drinks. The drinks arrived after the appetizer. She said the bartender was pretty slammed, but when we looked over, they seemed to be just talking to each other. Anyway the food arrived. We had to call her back because we had no utensils. That took another ten minutes. We had muscles, but nothing to put the shells in, so I just piled them on the table which then of course started this pool of sauce around them, and the table got quite messy. All in all, having the music so loud quite frankly I think I might have hearing loss, and the service being so terrible I couldn't wait to get out of there. Our bill was $200. Perhaps I expect too much???
