There's a lot of bad reviews for this particular spot but I've never had a bad experience. Yes, there is usually a line but it never takes longer than 5-10 minutes. This location is in the "hood" so to speak so maybe that explains the bad reviews but like I said, this place has been great for the last 3 years. All of these reviews help me to understand why since I've moved to this location I don't get my mail. I'll get 3 letters from the same place all at once. The here is the date to contact us letter the you missed your date letter and sorry we've denied your request letter all at once. danielle was very rude. not only to me but with other customers as well. i told her that this is my first time sending out a package. basically what i wanted to send out was a blessed bracelet to my cousin. i grab one of their package and she said i cannot use that. the fast processing machine will rip it up and to grab something from the rack. as i was walking to grab it, she called the next customer so she can assist. so at the rack, theres nothing else smaller to grab so i grab 2 package and 1 small box so i wont have to wait in line again. when it was my turn again, she gave my the same excuse but i said u know what ill just use and pay for this box. then she said i have to fill the address info and told me to move to the back counter and again, called onto the next customer. as she was helping the customer, she was being rude to the other 2 customer. after i got done, i went to the other customer as she was walking to her car(which was next to mine) if she think danielle was being rude, she said "yes" she was being rude. i ask for her name and will forward the info to the post master. this is why i see poor rating for this usps. look at all of the bad reviews. Need leadership to read it. fix it and fire them idiots. if you cant handle this job, quit so someone who can step up to the challenge can take over. read more

The only reason I'm giving this Post Office 1 star is because their electricity works... and because Yelp wont allow zero star ratings. Mail delivery is terrible, package pick-up is terrible, shipping/sending mail here is terrible, the customer service is terrible. Everything about this location is terrible. Came to the Pop up window to pick up my package, their hours are from 9-5pm! 5 stars for SUE only! Sue was friendly and incredibly patient, helpful, and kind in helping me fill out the customs form for my packages. Maybe it was because they were military packages? Who knows. I will say though, I understand where some of these other negative reviews are coming from because from my time there I heard the other two employees (I don't have their names but I will say that Sue is asian and they are not!) be rude to all of the customers they had. And these customers were all very calm and respectful, these employees just seem to be looking for a reason to yell (one of them) or roll their eyes and talk with an attitude (the other one). This place is always a pleasure to visit. Lines are usually long, (depending on when you're there) but the employees are always helpful and friendly. I usually bypass the line because i print my labels at home but i always make sure to drop off my package with the workers to make sure it gets put in the right place. This office needs to be trained on how to deal with people. Their customer service is horrible. The carriers out of this office (Ida and Roland) are horrible and incredibly rude too. I heard the manager,Travis left (probably because he couldn't deal with the laziness anymore) which is too bad because "Ms. Washington" is a joke. She is full of lip service and doesn't follow through. I'm having problems with my packages being picked up. She told me they would be picked up. At 4pm, I call and tell her they have not been picked up and she gets annoyed with me and says they will be picked up by 6pm, "don't worry". At 7pm, my packages were not picked up so I call again and she says everyone is gone for the day and we will pick them up tomorrow and I will call you at 8am to figure this out. Guess what, no call at 8am. When I did talk to her (more like 11:30am) she put me on hold multiple times and the last time I didn't want to wait on hold anymore so I hung up; mainly because she isn't helpful and the whole thing is a waist of my time. She called me back and said "I told you I was going to put you on hold and you hung up". Perhaps she meant to say... I'm sorry for putting you on hold so many times, thank you for your patience; we must have been disconnected. Anyway; she then put me on hold AGAIN and came back and said ok, so what is your question. I got 3 words in and then she hung up on me! This place is a JOKE! read more

I would give it less stars if I could. I went in a week before I left for vacation to have my mail stopped. After I filled out the necessary form I went up and gave it to the guy, he said nothing, didn't even look at it and I looked at him and said is that it and he said yes. I walked away feeling a little uneasy. When I got home from vacation I thought I would check the mailbox just in case and there it was, 8 days worth of mail crammed in there. Tried to call the post office and it's just a recording saying there is no one to take my call right now. Well apparently that means never because I tried continuously. I don't even think I need to go in depth about this. Wish I would have read these reviews before I came here and wasted my time. These have to be the most incompetent imbeciles ever. I expressed a package, it went an hour away from where it was supposed to. Needless to say it didn't make it to its destination by the guaranteed time. Spent 20 minutes arguing with the guy at the only open window about my package (he's telling me it didn't make it on time because it was undeliverable and had to be fowarded and a bunch of nonsense... of course it had to be forwarded, it got sent to the wrong place!) After this argument is done (mind you everyone else is in the back being lazy and the whole time he keeps going back there to consult with them and the line has become extremely long at this point) he tells me that I have to come back in the morning because he has to talk to his manager to get clarity on what happened with the package ANNNDDDD he doesn't have the authority to give a refund. Why have you been wasting my time then, sir??? At this point between his incompetence and my PMS-driven moodiness and irritability, I have had enough. The staff does not listen when you try to ask something and the woman who always work the money order window is very rude and will give you attitude when you ask questions. When she made a mistake on a money order she blamed it on me when i clearly stated what i needed. Then she charged me for her to start over and get new money orders. This post office is only a few blocks away from me and the package I am waiting on showed that it was 'out for delivery' yesterday. Only it still has not arrived and now the tracking and delivery is delayed!? What does that even mean? I called the post office and they have to open an investigation to try and locate my package. I just moved into this post office's area and had never had a problem receiving packages before this. As I said, we are walking distance to this location, how could it have gotten lost in those few blocks?! Or if not lost then why would it take two or more days to deliver something a few blocks. Also, my husband orders a magazine which the post man for some reason won't put inside our box although it more than fits. He sets it on top. Some months we get it and some we don't because people in our large apt steal it because the mail man is too lazy or stupid to put it in the box. No wonder the USPS is going down!! maybe if they did their job better and didnt' suck and lose people's packages and letters and magazines then people wouldn't be inclined to use other delivery methods such as FedEx. read more

The mail carriers out of this office are incompetent, lazy, or illiterate, or a combination thereof. My long-time carrier decided he needed to be transferred to a different route because of the amount of work this office placed on him, despite being with them for over 20 years, and everything went to hell. Now, people in my building are getting mail for other BUILDINGS, other apartments in the same building, or just not getting things AT ALL. It is amazing how we now some schmuck who just doesn't care about anything more than getting a paycheck. This is the most unprofessional post office I have ever seen. And you can't call them because they are so tired of complaints that they keep the phone off the hook so you can never get through to someone. They never correct the problems and just give the same old tired spiel to avoid any form of responsibility whatsoever as if placating and patronizing the customer. They need to realize that we taxpayers are paying their salary. And of course, there is no one to make a complaint to because they REFUSE to give you any information on who to contact. Carriers from this post office are terrible. I had a great carrier for a while then they gave my route to someone new & let me tell you, she's AWFUL!! My stuff constantly gets delivered elsewhere & only a few times have I been lucky enough that whoever DID get my mail actually brought it to my house. She's damaged just about every package she delivers. I've been home & watched her throw packages onto my porch from the next house over because she's too lazy to walk another 5 feet. Try to talk to her about it and she pretends she can't hear you because of her headphones. I've called numerous times to complain and they just say they'll speak to her but 6 months later & she still sucks at her job. I can imagine being a mail carrier isn't the most exciting job but if you hate it so much that you're throwing peoples stuff, then QUIT! Very inconsistent mail delivery if your mail carrier works out of this post office. I've had final notices in my mailbox dated a few days after the date on the notice (and never received a first or second notice?!), lost packages 2-3 times, and mail stuffed into the mailbox without any regard. Will be glad to move out of this post office's delivery area. read more

So after heading to the Loma Post Office on 4th and finding out it's not a post office with "window service," I headed to the Anaheim location. The building is set back from the street, tucked behind another building and a car wash but it has a parking lot which is great. I should've checked Yelp first, as I was disappointed that there wasn't an automated postage machine and had to wait in line. Some lady was having trouble showing identification for a money order, holding up the line, and a guy started yelling "Ya can thank Schwarzenegger for that! Ya can thank Schwarzenegger for that!" Overall, the customer service was efficient, the interiors have seen better days, BUT I must say, if it's entertainment you're looking for, this location's got it! read more

This is a miserable place. Today I went in to send an express envelope. Waited in long line, out the door. Got to a window at 4:03pm. The post office worker at the window was busy counting change, barley acknowledged I was there, had no teeth, looked incredibly sloppy, I could barely understand what he was saying, which was "you missed the 4pm deadline, can't send your express package." I missed it by 3 minutes and I do understand deadlines, but really???, they are so slow there! So I ended up at FedEx which took less than 5 minutes, but cost another third as much. So USPS missed out on a sale, and I ended up having to pay more at FedEx. unhappy. read more

Worst expierence ever! I have the mobile app to track my packages so i stayed in one night because i had a very important package for me, i waited all day for it to come, close to 10 PM ( do they even mail packages at this hour???) & it said "notice left"and i check outside and I see no slip. I go in the next morning asking to pick up my package which i did not mind since i live 3 blocks away and they said it would be redelivered again that day, so i wait and wait and wait and nothing!! I go in today and ask about it and they cannot find it, not even with the tracking number because it doesn't work?? so they ask for my number for they can call me once they ask the carriers. I go in again close to closing time and ask when would i receive a call about my package and he says he does not know, i ask what if they cannot find it, he says i can make a claim for 50$!!! What kind of nonsense is that?! That package cost alot more than 50$?! He says he can't do anything about it, why would someone say they left a slip but never did and then delete the tracking number. This post office was the worst post office. I've been too. Not because of the neighborhood, not the location. but their employee. I called about a package that was sent out 6/21/2011. I paid extra money by sending it first class the package was suppose to get there between 2 or 3 days. it is now the 25th and the package has not arrived. I called the post office with my tracking # to see what had happened. after a few words asking Carla Argelo if she could explain to me why the package had not arrive by the date it was suppose to. She said she did not know. because she did have the package with her. Really what answer to give a customer. She told me to call back on Monday if the package had not arrived. The point is that is was a birthday gift. So Carla decided to hang up on my face. I tried calling again and no one would answer the phone. So after calling 6 more times someone. Somebody finally answer the phone. So i asked why she hung on me " Carla said she had nothing else to tell me. Very poor service. I am missing 4 or 5 regular bills this month alone. You tell me SCE does not want their money? Also Tax information came open exposing my SS# and another statement never arrived. this is by far the worst post office ever. Customer service is really terrible and with no help at all. My package has been stolen twice and yet nothing is done about it. the claim service number they give you will have you on hold for an hour plus and nothing will be resolved. not to mention, the post man that delivers my mail in my area is very rude. he does things out of hands.
