I am missing 5 Birthday cards with $ inside...My family members on the East coast are upset,and so am I..; ( My sister called today to inform me that the beautiful card that she sent came back to her. She sent a check also. She read the card to me and wired the money. I didn't know that if you do not put the 9 digit zipcode on the address that the MoVal P.O. will return your mail to the sender for insufficient address..I know my Dad is really turning over in his grave! Rude workers ! They know nothing about customer service. And if you forget one thing they make you wait in line all over again. You try to get someone's attention for a quick question they tell you to like up and they will help you in that order. Also - that telephone number doesn't work. The waiting time is ridiculous here if you're picking up. I waited almost two hours once just to pick up a package. To make matters worse it was a package that these knuckle-heads didn't bother to even try bringing to my door. They just left a slip in my mailbox talking about attempted delivery (my @$$). Obviously they didn't attempt to deliver because the slip wasn't in the door, it was in the mailbox. In addition, they deliver mail hella late on a regular basis. This is annoying because I often have to wait till the following day to do what I need to do with what get's delivered. I run out of time to do the tasks by the time they deliver my packages. I wish I could give them a negative rating. They had me runing back and forth looking for my package. I had to go there a total of 4 times just so they could confirm that my package is considered "Lost or Stolen". The supervisor (lady with curly hair and glasses) seemed nice but she gave me false information as to what happened to my package. First It was to check my locker for a key so I can unlock the larger package locker, nothing there. Then I went back and she said she'll look for it and call me, I never recieved a call. I tried again and talked to the manager and he said he would call, nothing. Finally I went back there and was like WTF (in a kind manner) and they told me they lost my package. My package was an iphone screen that I had bought off ebay. The supervisor told me to contact the seller and have HIM file a "lost or stolen" claim. She said that there is nothing I could do about my package. Cliff notes: -Had to visit there 4 times -They lost my package -Said that it probably got stolen -They're taking no responsibilty for it Complete BS I'm very unsatisfied. This post office should be reported to the state of investigation for the quality of their job. In one month, they made 2 mistakes for me. First, they stamped on the envelope with the wrong address. Next day, when I came to ask them, they didn't even said sorry or apologized what they had done wrong, but they complained why I came late to tell them. Second time, 2 weeks later, they put a person order item with that person P.O.Box address into my P.O.Box. What the hell, they didn't know how to read English, how can they pass the test to work in the post office? I have to bring it and returned it to the post office. how about if some bad people, they may take that item that not belong to them. I bought a camera on Amazon and I was so excited because it said it was shipped. I check outside and it's not there, I check in my mailbox and I don't have a key for our parcel locker. I call customer service and they said its in the parcel locker. I drive to USPS to ask for the key and the worker said they can't give it to me, they said they would give the delivery worker my phone number so that they could contact me the next business day about the key. I never received a phone call. I went to the mailbox and see that the key was in the parcel locker. Luckily, I live in a decent neighborhood so when I looked inside, my package was still there. At the end of the day, yes I did get my package, but I'm giving this a low rating because the number listed for this USPS doesn't work, I didn't feel the people at the post office were apologetic about the situation, and I never received that phone call. read more

This is worse then the Dmv! I had a question and waited in line to ask because there is a sign that says you need to, ten min later a woman came out told me to get in the other line. I told her I have questions about my mail box and I waited in line to ask so I expect some kind of answer or someone to contact. This woman spoke over me continued to tell me to move asked for another customer and shoved me off. She was belligerently rude and she knew it. This woman has no sense of customer service and clearly hates her life. As I walked away I saw my 80 yr old neighbor come up to this "manager" Maureen Wiley. Maureen ( the terrible manager who just dusted me off her shoulder with her irritated attitude) then did the same thing to my elderly neighbor Sue. It is hard for sue to speak English so I stayed to assist her. The woman told her to go home and that she wasn't going to serve her and that she was going to call the police. On this elderly woman who can barley walk. She would not answer questions or help anyone! I asked Sue to come with me because the manager wouldn't even look at her. I asked her what was going on and how could I help. She stated that she has her id with her address on it and that they won't give her the mail with her husbands name on it. They have the same last name and our mail boxes have been broken for two months. This manager then went to hide in the back. She was not out helping the long line or even handing a customer service number out or even apologizing for the hour wait and incorrect information. I saw Paul (Sues husband) in the line waiting he was talking to an older man who worked here. I asked him what the policy is on picking mail up for one address ( knowing that my boyfriend picks up our mail all the time and never has an issue). He stated that they made a mistake and that she can pick up their mail no problem. Now my Nieghbor is correct and she is 80 asking for help and not only did she get attitude but she also got threatened with the police. I don't know who is the boss of this woman Maureen but I will be calling the BBB and so will everyone else in line. You discriminated against her and Denied us all help. Your are a bad person and I hope you remember this review. First step in fixing our city's post office will be getting rid of a manager who's employees don't even want her there Yep just an FYI an employee gave me the customer service line and the managers first and last name because they also have issues with her. Undoubtedly the worst post office I've ever been to. When we went here there was no parking so we had to wait for people to leave just to park. The line for just pickup was down the hall and almost around the corner. We used the automated machine to print postage for our packages and to get a book of stamps. While my mom was using the machine a postal worker and a guy came up saying that the machine didn't give him all his stamps. So the two of them looked at the machine and there were no stamps. They walked away. My mom finished her purchase which included stamps. Then the two guys came back and when my Mom's postage printed the postal worker took her stamps and gave them to the guy claiming that it could have taken a while for the stamps to have come out even though she just finished her transaction. Now we don't have our stamps and the guy is still missing his. So we had to follow these two guys around the post office so we could get a new book of stamps to replace the book the postal worker gave away. A lady behind the counter ended up giving the guy who has our stamps the rest of the ones that supposedly didn't print. So we stood there awkwardly until she looked at us and we were able to tell her our situation. She then told us that she didn't have anymore stamps and we had to fill out a form so tomorrow when the 'Stamp Guy' came in she could call us. I'm confused as to why a post office doesn't have stamps? What's the point of having automated machines if there isn't someone there to service them regularly during busy seasons? So because a guy was impatient and didn't check his purchase to make sure he had all his stamps before walking away from the machine, we get penalized and have to wait for the mysterious "Stamp Guy" to come To work the next day. This place is in serious lack of customer service and there's always a line no matter the time or day. They're inefficient and the building isn't large enough for the area it's serving or they don't have enough competent workers. Either way I dread having to go here. read more

I like this Alessandro Post Office branch very much. The self-service machines are great, and I like being able to do my own mailing when possible. The employees here are wonderful. This is so ridiculous. The postman left a message on my mailbox said the house is vacant. No one claimed the mails. Who give the right to the postman to do this? I picked up a package that turned out to be an empty box. The tape had been removed from the bottom of the box so that the contents could be taken out. I notified management who did nothing and even tried to place the blame on the company I ordered from. I also overheard one of the employees using foul language. If I could give this post office negative stars for being helpful I would. My mother, sister, and I had questions about filling out a passport renewal and the process in general. The representatives of this post office were not helpful at all. It seemed like they didn't know what they were doing because every one that we asked about the process gave us a different response. We felt like we were being brushed off by the representatives. The post office was not busy and there was no line so they had plenty of time to help us out. I understand that they do this every single day and they know the process however we don't. We finally received the help we needed from one of them and it took him no longer then 5 minutes and the process was complete. Thank you to 1 of the 6 people there working. They had 1 slow person with the worst attitude helping that huge line while there were 4 helping people buying stamps. My box was broken into on Friday and Gladys had no clue when they would fix my box. Her response to all my concerns was "I don't know". I asked for a supervisor and she said she was it. When I asked her for her supervisor she said it was the postmaster and she had no clue when he would be in. No wonder people keep breaking into mailboxes. I have been renting a p.o. box at this post office for three years. I have not had a problem until recently. I went on vacation for 4 days. I did not fill out a forwarding mail form since my vacation was short. I came back to town on June 3 and checked my box. I expected it to be full. On the contrary, I found it empty. I thought that was unusual, but also thought maybe my mail was delayed because of the Memorial Day holiday. I went back on the afternoon of June 5th and still found my box empty. At that point, I suspected that there was a problem. I went to the front counter and told the employee about my mail situation. He told me to fill out a form. He also told me that he would give the form to the carrier who would give me a call. I did not hear from the carrier three days after I submitted the form and so, I went back to this facility on June 9. I checked my box first to make sure that my complaint was still valid. Again, it was empty. I found out from the front counter employee who helped me that my name was taken off my p.o. box. She had no information regarding the reason. And I, I could not think of a reason they would take back my p.o. box since they just deducted a renewal fee from my checking account. Worse, the employee had no information regarding what happened to my mail. She only said they have no holding place for my mail. read more

Employee comes and opens the blinds covering the doors to main room, but leaves doors locked as if to say "we see you and we know what time it is and we don't care". We've all been to this PO. Whether you have a broken mailbox or not. One, the people working at the PO can't do anything about it. Two, they are there to do their job and that does not include fixing our broken mailboxes. That is someone else's responsibility and shame on them for their negligence. Three, they obviously need to open another Postal establishment because of how many residents have been affected and the city overall needing that public service. Know that the waits will be long to handle postal needs especially if you go during peak hours. The employees can only do so much.
