I've been in line for 45 minutes. There are about 5 people in line in front of me, and about 30 behind me. There is 1 clerk while4 others walk up and down the line asking if anyone needs stamp or just to drop off. There are no system outages. A female that looks to be the manager keeps poking her head out from behind a double sided mirror. No "I'm sorry for the wait", or apology to the people waiting. Nothing. My mailman is refusing to deliver my mail even though my dog is fenced in AND the mailbox is located on the OUTSIDE of my fence. I have video and audio surveillance of the many times he's delivered mail with no problem but suddenly he's not able to. I'm just perplexed. What else do they want from me. Pretty regular post office. It would be nice if installed an automatic stamp dispenser to pay for via cash or card to skip the lines. The drop box is also set up weird, it's near a one-way street so when you put your letter in there you can't get back on White ave., you have to turn around and go towards downtown. Very confusing. Probably lots of accidents by drunk mailers, or at night because of this poor set up and design. Had to visit this post office 3 times in 2 days because I couldn't get any answers on where my package was delivered. When it was tracked online it says it was given to a customer, but when looking at the address that it was delivered to, the address was not an existing address. Very unfortunate to have to change my arrangements of receiving this package. read more

Update 4/24/13 - Since I only live a mile away from the post office, I decide to hobble over there. I started doing physical therapy and thought this might be a good workout. I made it there with a few cramps along the way. The clerk at front desk couldnt find my package, nor could he look up the info about the package after I gave him the tracking number and 3 redelivery confirmation numbers. I asked to see the supervisor who took 20-30 minutes to come out because she was "busy". The clerk would go back and talk with her but she would not come for awhile as if she was avoiding me. When I told her about my situation, she was smiling and nodding as if to say "I don't care". She was able to track my package on the computer and could see all the confirmation numbers. After some fidgeting around in the back, she comes and says that sean is the letter carrier who is in charge of the route so she would have to ask him where he put my package. He did not start working till 10am (wow, I want to start my workday then!). After limping there and an hour of me arriving to the post office, she tells me its on the mail truck and will be delivered to my home. HOW DID IT GET ON THE MAIL TRUCK ON THE WAY HOME IF SEAN HASN'T STARTED WORKING YET?! Also, this delivery attempt was not scheduled. FINALLY!!! It arrived, but to the wrong address. It has the correct address on the label, but they cant read apt numbers clearly. The kind neighbor from a few floors below delivered it without any mail-delivery training. how amazing?! haha No wonder the post office as a whole is going under... WHY DO YOU HAVE A PHONE NUMBER..............WHEN YOU DON'T EVER PICK UP PHONE CALLS! I tried to make an appointment over the phone (busy at work). I attempted for 3 days straight but never did they pick up one single phone call. I understand USPS gets busy but I never encountered an incident like this where they never pick up phone calls period. So I finally went in person during my lunch hour and asked a lady about submitting passport applications and straight from the bat she said that they're booked today and next week. I asked if she can show me the appointment list. She said it's all booked. I explained her that I've been trying to call for 3 days but this USPS office wasn't picking up but she responded with "Yea, we are all booked today." She did not even look at the list or anything. Tried calling the 1267 # and it doesn't work. I let it ring for about 5 min then an automated voice said the mobile # is unavailable. Thank you Catherine for listing an alternate # that worked (909-623-3346). Was able to make an appointment for a passport. When I went in before finding that #, the lady told me I needed an appointment, even though the toll-free USPS # says appointments for passports are NOT required, and a sign on their wall even says non-appointments are available depending on availability. Either they're under-funded or they need to train more people for passports. Note that they don't take credit card for passports, only debits cards, money order, etc. Edit: I went in and asked about the 1267 #, and they said that # goes to the supervisors and they never usually pick up. THEY need new training. It rings for 5 min then says "the wireless customer your calling is not available, please call again later (then repeated in Spanish)." That's misleading, I would assume that means that the # might not be connected to a line. read more

Wow such bad reviews....or maybe this post office saw their Yelp ratings and decided to get their shit together. This post office is small and old, but the two guys that work there are top notch. Al is my main man, A++ service: he's efficient, helpful, friendly and funny. He goes out of his was to help out, never makes you feel like an inconvenience because you don't know anything about mailing boxes/envelopes/etc. He does like to chat people up, but he moves so quickly that it doesn't slow the line down. I think this is also a "good luck" post office. Was there the other day and a woman dropped her big ol' wallet on the side walk outside, and the man that found it brought it right in to her. I mean when do you see things happen like that? For those that have had bad experiences: give this place another chance and come when Al is working. This post office is utterly the worst I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I have a Po box and completed the form in person and online to have my mail forwarded to my Po box. Unfortunately, time after time my packages do not show up in my Po box or my house. I know they are there because Amazon shows me where they are. So, I go in and talk to the supervisor Carlos de la Cerda and he pops off at me that he doesn't care what Amazon says my package is not there. I ask him where is it and he goes in the back and says well the carrier must have taken it to be delivered I waited all day and no package so now I'm back at the post office again. Sadly, this is NOT an isolated event because I have had checks that were mailed to my Po box and never received them and when I went to the post office I was told that they don't where they are. Miraculously, when I filed a complaint when the 800 number my checks showed up. I'm here now, and two other people are having similar problems. Incompetent morons. Sold a $200 item on Ebay. Brought the package prepaid to the post office. They told me to drop it off behind the mail receiving door. I asked them if it was safe and they said yes. They claimed there is always someone manning that office door. Ebay customer never received the item. Now, they told me I have no proof I dropped it it. I came in here to get an address change which required me to fill out the change of address paper. I turned it into an employee, she reviewed it but I never received any mail at my new address. I came to inquire after about two weeks because it takes about 10 days for it to be effective and they said they never received it and I had to do it all over again. Wow, I had the most amazing & helpful service today!!! I dropped a bill that needed to be postmarked the same day in the drive through mailbox on my way to work. Once I got to work, I suddenly realized that I had forgotten to put a stamp on the envelope!!!! I went back to the post office and pleaded for them to help me. They referred me to the supervisor, but warned me there probably wasn't anything he could do. I spoke with Steven, the supervisor, and he took me out to the mailbox, we found the envelope, and I slapped a stamp on it!!! Thank you for going out of your way to help!!! read more

They lost 10 days worth of my mail that was supposed to be on vacation hold, they lost an entire package from a clothing boutique, and they frequently mark items as delivered through their tracking service but don't actually deliver them for a few more days. The customer service is hostile and incompetent. They are generally unable to find packages, even when you bring the pink delivery slip. Expect to wait around 20-40 minutes if you are attempting to mail or pick up. If you attempt to resolve an issue with them, they either ignore the request or take your number and offer to 'call you back' when the issue is resolved. Spoiler alert, it never happens. If any other company behaved this way they would be out of business. The only reason this office exists is because many people have no other options for mail services. If you can make the drive, get over to the San Dimas post office where customer service people are knowledgeable and care. P.S. This is not a one-time experience review. This has unfortunately been my experience with this place for more than 2 years. The service continually declines. read more

Ive had multiple packages lost, delivered to the wrong location, and delayed by this single location. Additionally, the drivers for some reason cant take the extra time it takes to ring my doorbell to let me know that they are here and will just leave a missed package slips in my actual mail box.
