Well, USPS, what can you expect... But this one in Pomona is the worst out of them all that I've been to. The Asian folks are nice, they care by recommending the best option for a shipment. The African-American lady is just plain RUDE (why yu gotta be so rudeee....don't yu knw I'm human toooohhh) and when I drop off a package she always refuses to SCAN IT (WTF, IT TAKES 2 SEC) but I wanted a receipt for it then she got upset (really?). It's ridiculous! I'm not expecting anything EXTRA AND OVER but they should at least DO THEIR JOB and it's a shame, they should ENJOY THIER JOB and do it happily! I'm a waitress and I've dealt with worse everyday. They do not know how to deliver mail, and hire postal workers that do not speak English. It's the US postal service, I'm sorry, but their should be a requirement to speak English. They should also know how to differntiate between a 1 and an 8 me thinks... They are often wrong in delivering mail to my house with different addresses and sometimes street names. read more

They screw up all the time with mail, and when I moved, filled out change of address 3 times online, and went to the post office itself to find out what was going on, never received any of my forwarded time sensitive mail over 2 months. I never expect good service when I go to the post office. I went in today expecting long lines and grumpy people but I was pleasantly surprised. There was already a line outside a few minutes before they opened but they opened the doors promptly at 9 AM and had most of the windows open. I never come here because the la Verne post office is closer even tho I actually live in the city of Pomona but I once had to race over here because I realized a package my postman picked up from my house was missing the mailing label! So, finding out that package with no label go basically to "the great beyond" and there was some valuable merchandise in there, i end up racing down white avenue at five minutes to 5 and somehow get pulled in and parked with 2 minutes to spare! I run into the post office go to pull open the interior doors and am suddenly stopped short by an Asian man (a post office employee) who swiftly locked it before I could open it! I said to him thru the door..."please sir! It's an emergency! And it's 4:59!" To which he would not look at me or listen to me at all! This really infuriated me because I was looking at my iPhone and know the true and exact time! I ended up banging on the side door till someone finally answered it, explained my situation and the manager was able to find my package! Thanks to my regular post man Mark who happened to notice and recognize it was one of my packages, he had let his manager know and they set it aside. Disaster was averted but the whole incident with being locked out like that pissed me off so much! read more

Do not go here if you can! USPS website says they take walk ins including Saturday's but the supervisor just refused us coz they don't do Saturday passport processing. Some are so rude. I returned a package and its says no such number. I asked a lady there and it seems she just wanted to brush me off and even on the phone thru customer service. It's a pre printed label the merchant gave me and I never had no problem in returning any packages but this time I did. I took a picture of the package before it was sent and its the same address. So why is this one not taking it. It says wrong address wth. To my understanding this is the USPS fault. Also I have lost some mail thru the drop off box. This place is so unorganized. Not very happy with this post office. They have lost several of my packages that have had tracking numbers and never left the facility nor have been scanned. Vicki the customer service person that helped me was so rude and it took over 30 minutes for the supervisor to help me. They paged him several times and he finally came up to the front. I recently got my passport application done. I went in on a Monday but the passport office was closed for the day. So I asked one of the clerks for some information and she very kindly answered any questions I had. I came back the next morning with all of my paperwork filled out correctly (unlike most people), all forms of identification needed, and the pictures. I had to wait about 10 minutes to be helped because they had a really long line. The lady that helped me, I believe her name was Irma was very knowledgeable and competent. I have never received my package properly. now I'm starting to think that my carrier do that on purpose. I see mailmen around and say hi with smiley face. I have no idea why he does that to me. it's either delivered a month later or I have to go to the office. In worst case scenario, I have to visit there over three times. they ask your phone number which they never call. I call them and they never answer. This Post Office in Pomona has the worst customer service I ever seen. I been trying to get a hold of Rosa the manager. And either she doesn't call me back or either they don't give her my number to call me. So, I even tried to call the office but no one answers the phone. So, I have to go in person. I went to pick up my mail at the post office and they said they don't have mail and its been a week now. All he told me is that maybe the mail man has it with him. But, why would he keep it!!! I hate receiving a package that needs my signature. Some times takes two weeks to get the package, after calling and saying that is is missing, I would still need to go down and pick it up.. Yesterday they said they left me a slip, of course not there, and who knows if I will get it or not. Always deliver my mail to the same address, different street name and most of the time I don't get the mail. Very unhappy as they sometimes do have delivered on it but of course it is not there. Might get it a couple of days later. Very unhappy and have been for a long time. Don't like going to the post office there to pick up as sometimes you have to wait in line for over 20 minutes as the associates don't really care if we get helped or not. read more

Last week my dog had gotten out of my yard and I ended up chasing him about a mile barefoot and ended up catching him by the post office thank goodness. I needed help and went in to this post office and asked to use the phone. I had an emergency and was without my cell phone. When I asked politely "sir may I use the phone?" the guy said "no" I in return said "please sir I need help, may I please use the phone?" he walked away from the counter and never came back. I had waited in the lobby and no one ever came out. I had blisters on the bottom of my feet and wanted to try calling home so someone could come and pick us up. Not only were people with cell phones not helping me the employee at the post office would not help me. Later that day I went in and spoke with the manager and he said "sorry I will talk to him about his manners." Are you kidding me? I have been to this post office twice now to ship our packages and most all of the employees are nice and patient. One morning, an employee told me I could save money if I used a different package! He was so kind and he asked if I went to Cal Poly. One of the other employees joined in and said it was a good school. It gets busy there, so give yourself some time. We in the area of Phillips Ranch in Pomons have not been receiving our mail until after 5 pm! Recently we placed a hold on our mail from April 9 through April 13th with instructions that we would pick up our mail upon our return. When we returned to town, my husband drove to this post office to pick up our mail and there was no mail! We were told that our carrier would be delivering our mail on Monday (again, not our instructions). We waited around all afternoon to receive our mail and it never came. We tried calling the post office at shortly after 3 pm (twice, actually) and NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE! Now, today, we have to wait until the Post Office opens at 9 am to find out where our mail is????? I feel obliged to report this particular office to the appropriate authorities. When I called that number to find my package I was explained why I couldn't pick up my package by a very condescending employee who continuously talked over me and ended up hanging up on me. What a service ! It's sucks. Went to the P.O. before they open. I was the second on line When I got to the clerk I give my tracking international number asking for my letter because online they put that my letter was delivered and that's not true I haven't receive any letter, and guest what ( from the time she went inside to the time she come back it WAS ALLREADY 30 min) to tell me that it shows that was delivered and she told me that I have to wait for the supervisor that he was going to talked to me.
