Today I went to this post office to get my passport, the hours say until 1 pm and we got there around 11:30. There was a sign that was posted up that said the passports were done for today. We talked to jim and he said he could help us out but we were gonna be the last ones he took for the day. People kept showing up and left as soon as they saw the sign. But there were others who really needed to get their passport done that day. Jim was the kindness man and helped as many people as he could, even after one o clock! Once we were inside the office the process was speedy and he knew what he was doing. Very kind very knowledgable man, looking to help as many people as he could. After spending an hour trying to get through to the ASK USPS Customer Service (press number wait disconnect, repeat...) I finally called back to the DoubleCreek office. While not everyone there is helpful (read that as in the female manager who originally sent me down the path of endless redirects) there is at least one guy there who took the time to actually look in the system (why she could not have done that escapes me) and tell me what I needed to know. This post office is horrible. They have misplaced my packages several times and marked them as delivered. Every time I call to have the problem fixed, I am put on hold for a long time and the person I talk to is either rude or unhelpful. read more

Is it too much to ask that you put my mail in my box and not someone elses. I receive my paychecks through this post office. I have embarrassed myself questioning my customers on whether they have sent payment only to find out that the post office missorted my mail and put it in someone elses p.o. box. Once or twice, I can almost understand but this happens on a regular basis. I am at my wits end! And STOP putting other peoples mail in my box. read more

They wont answer their phone, need to check out their rural drivers mine is ALWAYS putting the wrong mail in my box, it has my house number on it in THREE places and I have left notes addressing this but does no good, the need to get a new one for my route. read more

I ordered a product from a company in CA for my mother at Provident Crossing in Round Rock. The company shipped via FED EX to this Round Rock post office for them to deliver. I was notified that the package could not be delivered due to an insufficient address (lacking room #103). They returned it to CA. I checked with FED EX and they claim the #103 was on the label and the shipper had sent me an email confirming shipment with the #103 clearly showing on the label. As far as I am concerned, the post office for whatever reason, is lying and trying to cover their mistake. After reading the many reviews on here, I shouldn't be surprised. As aggravating as this situation has been, I worry about ever shipping or mailing anything to my Mother through the postal service there. This is not the first piece of mail that has been returned by them with no excusable reason. I intend to report them to the USPS. I have spent over 3 hours on the phone - I was told to "hold" yesterday and finally hung up after 59 minutes! Many times they didn't even answer their phone and when they finally did, they weren't honest with me. read more

Such lackluster service every time I have to visit this station. Thankfully I don't have to do it very often. Today I was trying to find a package that their lazy 'hot shot' driver wouldn't bring to my apartment - only tried leasing office at 530 and they were already closed (obviously for christmas eve). The asian girl that works the counter isn't very nice - she yelled across the lobby this morning 'get in the package pickup line' in a very brash way - I was at the main desk so I was not aware there was a separate line for the window at the end of the main counter. The older woman working the pickup line, while pleasant, only took my address, didn't care that I had a tracking #, and after 3-4 mins, told me the carrier said it was at the office. Told her I wasn't please the 'hot shot' driver didn't bring to my apartment and her answer was 'if you only knew the amount of packages'. Told her if FedEx and UPS can do it, then why can't they. Not sure what else she said as she was still yapping as I walked away. Finally found the package after my regular route carrier (she's the only nice employee I experience in any of my interactions with the post office) brought it this afternoon and left it at the leasing office (online never said it was out for delivery). I always end up cringing when I have a shipment from Amazon sent via USPS (they are the default carrier for free 2 day prime shipments - thats why its free!). With this kind of lackluster service where they don't want to go that extra mile, the USPS will be gone within 5 years. read more
