This Post Office at 7250 Elk Grove-Florin Rd. in Sacramento, Calif. 958029 is very poor in forwarding mail to my current address. It has been about 1 month ago and I have not been getting my mail. The customer service at 7250 Elk Grove-Florin Rd. does not have good customer service. Was on hold with USPS took over an 1 hour to answer. That was my first time at this USPS and now I know why there are so many bad reviews about this place. I have never done international shipping before so I didn't know the process as well as the restrictions to ship a package out of the country. But the staffs are paid to be supportive and willing to help and instruct their customers, right? This is my local post office, and I come here regularly to check my post box and send packages. The office itself is large, well-lit, and always clean. There's recycling bins for junk mail near all doors, which I appreciate. I've personally never had to wait more than 10 minutes, which is great for a post office. The lines here are much shorter and move much quicker than other post offices I've gone to. Staff are friendly, helpful, and quick. I really enjoy my experiences here, and would recommend them. read more

Whenever I have to come to the post office, the workers are extremely friendly and keep the line moving fast. However, recently I got pretty irritated at their mailmen. I was expecting a package to come in the mail and I knew it was coming USPS. Normally what will happen is the mailman will come to the door and hand you your package. If you're not home, they'll leave a note in your mailbox telling you to pick it up from the post office. On this particular day, both my dad and myself were home and didn't hear the doorbell or a knock on the door. When my dad went to check mail, he found a note for me and sure enough, I had to go to the post office the next day to pick up my package. Both of us were extremely annoyed because we KNEW that the mailman hadn't bothered to come to the door and at least see if we were home before writing up the note. It just goes to show why USPS is losing money. The mailmen are LAZY. And what really irritated me is the fact that our house is RIGHT across the street from the mailbox. Seriously, it WON'T kill you to get out of your little white truck and walk across the street and ring the doorbell. And also, it would be nice of the mailmen were consistent with their delivery times. I hate having to go out and constantly keep checking our mailbox to see if the mail came. Some days he'll come at 4:30, other times it won't be until 5:00, sometimes 6:00 or later! Come on, get it together already! read more

This office in Elk Grove Florin Rd is a joke and so the current mail carrier for my route. I believe that carrier stole 1 of my 2 outgoing packages I placed in my mailbox yesterday. They are both on a pre-paid label and I only got a "SHIPPED" notification from 1 of my 2 packages. I filed a claim online because the Customer Service recording said, it'll be over an hour for someone to get on the phone and they'll call me back when it's my turn, it's been an hour and a half so I called this office and it just rang and rang and rang. I eventually gave up. Maybe someone will call me back or investigate this matter. It's unacceptable and against the law. read more

So I order an item from ebay with a tracking number. The fucken mailman ended up placing the key to the lock parcel locker into one of my nieghbor's mailbox. Whoevever this shady asshole is kept my item. I placed a claim and it was denied. USPS stated that it was delivered. I called and spoke to a manager of in west sac and even got an email from them stating that i never got the key. I tried to appeal it, and ended up submitting my appeal to the mai office in DC. With the letter from USPS and my cc statement showing my purchase, i still got denied. WTF!! Don't USPS take responsibility for their employees screw ups? I wish I could negative 10 stars because this location is extremely unprofessional. I have recently moved to 95828 zip code area where I didnt know my mail would be in a locked box. I submitted a change of address and waited the two weeks before I to start asking where is my mail. Mind you, I have a physical mail box so i was checking every day... NO MAIL. So I called the post and expressed I'm not getting any mail. It took the three calls to find out I had a box and I had to put a change of lock request in. I was told by a Supervisor Ron, to bring a photo id and a piece a mail to put a request in for key. So I took a day off of work. I printed my SMUD bill and brought my ID. The lady at the counter was very rude and was not listening to my issue. So I requested Ron assistance. I requested since I didnt have access to my mail could my mail be delivered to my actual mail box. He advise he will talk to my carrier, that idea only lasted two days before my mail start getting delivered back to the lock box. So it been a week and I come on a Saturday to pick up my key. Once I got my key I discovered it did not work. Luckily I got the chance to meet my carrier and she was able to give me mail. She also told me my lock wasn't changed. So I had to back to the post office and request for another key. This time I submit that my mail be placed on a vacation hold. So when i pick up my key and can also pick my mail. SO yesterday I comes to pick up the key. But my mail wasnt placed on a vacation hold so there was no mail to pick up. Mind you I had to wait a hour to get assistance to fill out the vacation hold request. So I goes to my mail box and the key doesn't work again. By this point I am furious. I drove back up there to speak with a manager, at that point I did lose my cool and I was yelling in the post office. Because I wouldn't calm down they called the police on me for disturbing the peace. I wouldn't lost my cool if one my request for a vacation hold was processed and two I had key that worked. So after that I returned to request another vacation hold. Hopefully next Saturday I have a key that it works. So beware of the unprofessionalism and lack of competents at this location. Its a circus. I put a change of address January 13, its now March 3rd. No access to my lock box. read more

Worst customer service i have ever received . Staff doesnt even bother to answer questions in polite manner. One of the staff member(woman) every time someone(including myself) askes her something her response is so rude and it sounds like someone is forcing her to do the job which otherwise she wouldn't. The times I have been here I've had one girl who had been super nice. She is younger and is very helpful and not rude. I came to the office before closing and had people in line behind me. I work a full day and came right after work. The guy kept checking his watch and said he wasn't going to go get my package. He was extremely rude when I was trying to ask how to get my package for the slip left at my door. When someone was trying to help me he cut her off and was extremely disrespectful talking over her telling me I was late. The website and phone service says they close at 5:00pm. He tried to help someone behind me and ignore me as he yelled across the room telling me I'm too late before he even knew what my question was. Disgusting behavior. I work in customer service for years and this is not how you treat customers. I was extremely respectful and nice there was no reason for him to be rushing me because he wants to be off by 5 o'clock. These employees have amazing benefits and amazing pay rate there's no reason to be disgusting to the customers that come into the building before closing time. This time that I came a lady named harginder or harjinder helped me she was very rude didn't answer any of my questions And kept rushing me to move along. Like most post offices, this location is always busy! The parking lot is small and is often congested with people trying to maneuver in and out. Once inside it is pretty standard to have to wait in line. The service isn't the friendliest but they do keep the line moving fairly quickly. If you're mailing a letter or a parcel, you can skip the line by using the self-service postage machine. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This is the WORST post office I've ever been to. They have lied about delivering my packages several times. When they can't replace the packages they lost/stole, they just tell me to contact the sender. This is a TERRIBLE post office. I'm going to have to resort to getting a P.O. I have had the hardest time with this post office and it is extremely frustrating. I keep getting mail for individuals not at my address although I return mail and write on the mail not at this address, wrong address. I have never had no issues checking my mailbox ( cluster) then one day I go and can not get into it, almost as if lock was changed on wrong mail box. Have not been able to get this problem resolved since January. I put my mail on hold however am having a hard time receiving all of my mail. I get notices from informed mail that shows what is in your mailbox, however when I go get my mail none of the mail is at the office. I can due my taxes because I have a w-2 I'm still waiting to receive. The customer service guy I got when I went to the customer service window was rude and short with me. I was told by supervisor that my lock would be changed out no charge because it's considered a faulty lock but the customer service guy was charging full price and wouldn't go check with the supervisor. I have decided to get a PO Box. Hopefully at least this way I will receive my mail on time. read more

As a regular eBay seller, I come here an average of about three times per week to drop off packages since this is my local Post Office. Usually that's all I come here to do, but about once every month or two I have to go to the counter and receive some sort of customer service. I honesty don't know why there are so many one and two-star reviews for the service here. They have always been very helpful whenever I needed customer assistance! As for the long lines here, that mainly only occurs after 2pm on the weekdays. But that's just like any other public establishment. Go to any local bank or grocery store and you'll see the same exact thing. At any other time, there's usually little to no line. The loss of one star is mainly due to the fact that they don't really have their own telephone number that they answer; there's only a central 1-800 number to call. The other reason for the loss of one star is because the outdoor drive-thru blue dropbox for small packages has recently been removed. Also, to correct some of the other reviewers who try to justify their negative reviews by complaining that the USPS is government-funded, that is completely false. Yes, the USPS is established by the US Constitution. And yes, they have access to federal government funds if they want. But if you do any bit of research on USPS history, you'll realize that they haven't touched a single penny in Uncle Sam's wallet for decades. I just had to throw that out there. But for sure, this Post Office definitely deserves 4 out of 5 stars from me for continuing to provide exceptional service! read more

The staff is not knowledgeable regarding their own products and services. Printed the appropriate labels for my packages off the USPS website as I have many times before, and I was denied being told they were not correct. Over 100 packages shipped the same way from my local post office. Clerks were not just ignorant to their own services, but smug to top it off. This rating is not so much for this post office as it is for the sorting facility in Sacramento. However, this office contributes to the problem by not checking the zip code on my package labels. There is another place marked with the same address as mine but its in South Sacramento instead of North Sacramento. I've had 9 packages shipped to this office out of their negligence and obviously they have trouble finding the right address. Instead of checking the zip code and finding the right address, they return it to sender or simply throw it away. Any one of them could've simply pulled up maps and typed the address in their phone and would've realized their mistake. read more

I bought Priority Express 1 day shipping for a money order I needed shipped on Friday 6/8/2018. I used the kiosk they have inside, it printed a shipping label and gave me a reciept, that was it. It instructed me to put in drop off container before 2:30pm to be delivered to its location by Saturday 6/9/2018 by 3pm. Money Back Guarantee it says. Needless to say it never reached its destination which was supposed to be on Saturday by 3 p.m. it did not reach its destination until Monday the 11th so I decided to go in and get my money back this was the worst experience of my life. I spoke to a supervisor named Brianna Jacoby-jordan she told me that I could not receive a refund because I did not have a certain form that was never given to me by the kiosk when I told her the kiosk did not give me that form it gave me my receipt which I have shown you and a shipping label which was a sticker which I was instructed to peel off and put on the envelope the kiosk gave me nothing else and she told me because I put the shipping label on the envelope I could not receive a refund because they need that in order to give me a refund. After about 5 minutes of me trying to understand that the sticker printed out by the kiosk which I was instructed to peel off and put on the envelope for shipping was actually what I needed in order to be refunded my money. I explained to her by putting the sticker on the envelope obviously I don't have that now, and and if I were to have not put it on the envelope it would not have been shipped to the correct address she said she would contact her postmaster whose name is Michael Eden and promised to call me by 5pm, Tuesday 6/12/2018. I never got a call and honestly at this point I will never use them again. If they would have just delivered my package by the promised date and time that I paid for I wouldn't even have asked for my money back but they didn't and they say your money back guaranteed however that doesn't seem to be the case at all. read more

I lived in a senior community within their area and during a normal week we didn't see mail delivered until nearly 7PM. We were treated like 3 class citizens and needed to have our mail delivered and picked up before 5pm or it doesn't go out until the next days mail. Need a new Postmaster and a crew that can get the mail delivered pronto. My friends complain about it but are ignored. read more

I went to this office every time because it's a closer post office to me however one of an old lady is very rude every single time I saw her there. At this time I had a pre paid label for my item but I needed to buy an envelope from them. After I packed everything and tried to walk to all the end of the line (the line was very long and went all the way down to the other side of building because of the 6ft social distance), that old lady who's name is JAY yelled at me at the counter to tell me I have to purchase the envelope before I leave! Man I didn't mean to leave the office without purchasing I just walked to the end of the line but everyone looked at me with weird eyes and thought I try to steal their stuff because she yelled loud like that!! It's so ridiculous if you don't really see I leave the office please do not yell loud to any of your customers like that it makes people have a hard feelings. read more

Wow, this hasn't been update since September! Well i don't know how often i go to the post office, but when i do i get different employees all the time. Sometimes they are nice and sometimes their grumpy. There one that creeps me out all the time because of the small talk that employee makes with the customer is weird. I always get a weird vibe there, so i like to get out of there fast. Even through long lines the employee swing both ways (nice or mean). It's okay, but not my favorite post office to stop by, sometimes i just go to UPS and get my package shipped from them to avoid the post office. -___- I mean i got treat well and i got treat bad. Overall I liked my old post office in Rancho Cordova. Sometimes i don't mind driving over there to drop my packages :) Ha! read more

Recently moved here to the area and stopped by the post office to pick up my mail box key. John helped me and stated it wasn't ready for pick up as it had not yet been set up and that I can check back in a week or that he would stop by my address to drop it off when he had the key. I honestly didn't think he would remember; but within a few days he stopped by my home to drop off my new mailbox key, as he said he would! Saved me another trip to the post office! This type of service far exceeded my expectations as I'm not used to getting good service at all from these types of places in the area I'm from unfortunately...This post office gives me that small town kinda feeling and it makes me feel welcomed and all that better about living here now. A guy I believe name is Tran, deserves all four stars. Every time I come here the line is long and I always run into problems. I've had three seperate encounters where I was frustrated and was told to come back tomorrow, where tomorrows extends to into at least three days or more. And on each and every occasion the person to solve my problems would be this same guy name Tran. That is why I'm leaving this review with four stars. For him alone because he does an outstanding job. I took out one star for making me come back multiple occasions for one single problem. Other than that, this place often has long lines but that isn't their fault.
