Worst post office ever. Lost few packages during the past year and then I stop to receive any large packages in my address, only send package which small enough to fit into my mail box ( with lock ), but still lost one package ( small flat rate box, tradcking showed delivered..not a surprise ) I should have received 2 packages on 4/2, at the end of the day, only one showed. I then check the tracking numbers and found both of them showed "delivered in mailbox (AGAIN!!!) One delivered at 1:47 pm and the other one was 2:14 pm. I caught the mail carrier next day and asked if he remember about my packages, he said, no I don't remember, but I did put all I have in the mail box, I then showed him the time of the delivery, he insist that he only came once and didn't come back so probably other mail carrier did the second delivery. So I went to the Temple City post office and ask to talk to the manager, the supervisor who called Vincent came and found that both packages were scanned by the same scanner, means it was delivered by the same mail carrier. Vincent promised that he will talk to the mail carrier and call me back. Surprisely he did actually called me back on 4/4 but just want to tell me that he talked to the mail carrier and he couldn't remember if he came back or not.. what the heck was that?! I gave up on my package and decide to ask the shipper to send another one, I am so fed up with those unprofessional guys, never never use USPS to send package again!!! read more

Service is terrible and very very slow. Also, they are incredible disorganized when delivering mail.

Always lines here.. And they never have enough people to service you.. I would give it 1 star if I didn't bring my iPhone to play games or chk FB :p they should seriously hire more with all our tax money ! read more

Service can be hit or miss depending on who is helping you. The older workers seem to be more efficient than Junee who I think is the most unhelpful post office worker ever and does not advise you on how to ship your items in a cost effective way. read more

If I could rate the service here I would give it a 0 star. This place has terrible service and I will never come back! It was my first time filling out a passport, and I had made some mistakes with the pictures and application. Instead of having an employee help us with our mistakes, the employee Jaime (pronounced Hi-May), would give us attitude by being rude (sighing, sounding frustrated, talking back, etc.) and at one point he threw his stuff onto the table and walked away. This is my go-to post office. Parking can be hard to find if you go during busy hrs, but there's plenty of street parking available. The employees I've seen working at the counter are mostly middle aged, Asian, with an accent. Post offices are not where you go to get amazing customer service, this isn't nordstrom. All I want is to get in, do what I need to do, and get out as quickly as possible. The employees here usually tell you what the cheapest option is when mailing a package. (Definitely a plus if you're not familiar with the flat rate boxes :) ) My boyfriend had his passport picture and application done here. So the Temple City post office strikes again! For the 5th time in less than 2 years, they have "lost" one of our packages!! They admit it was a substitute delivery person, but say that she claims to have delivered the package, but since we were once again home when it supposedly arrived, we know this is not true. In the past, one package was never found, 2 were delivered to us by neighbors and one mysteriously showed up a month later. Danny says they went door to door and that none of our neighbors got the package, but obviously someone did - sadly, we will never know who. These people are completely incompetent - use UPS people!!!! read more

On their website, it shows passport services for this location is walk-in Saturdays from 9-12:30pm. Drove there at 11:30 today and it is by appointment only. In that case, there should be an option online to schedule the appointment. There was none. I would have scheduled an appointment instead. read more

I hate to give bad reviews but, if this saves someone time then it's worth the review, lived here all my life and never had a bad experience until recently, I needed a passport, called the day before to ask if I needed an appointment and was told no appointment needed unless it is a Saturday but to be here by 2:00..Drove an hour in traffic to get this done, arrive later than I wanted but made it by 1:55, had everything ready, copies of DL, app filled out except a few lines because I had a question, was turned away and was told I needed an appointment, the man rudely told me that "he wasn't the one who gave me the wrong information " over the phone, I told him I drove an hour in traffic and he gave me a list of options I can go to for future reference, he COULD have accommodated but chose not to.I called the San Marino Library who said they close at 2:30 For passport services, I told them I wouldn't make it till then and they said no problem, if we know you're on your way, we'll wait..THAT'S customer service, they had me in and out in 7 minutes, with taking the pic, swearing in, all of it..TC post office should take note along with giving out proper info over phone. read more

I went this post office to send package for two times, one is for return another is drop off, every time I'd like to track my package status but I can't track them in few days after I sent them, the status only be updated after the packages arrive next step,it means the packages didn't been scanned in this post office and I'm wondering isn't it an important step of their SOP? If you still choose here to send your package,first do not forget to remind them scan your package, and second ask for receipt even you only drop something off. read more

Worst post office ever sooooo slowww I mean sooooo slowwww if u really want to ship something go somewhere else this location is full of incompetent employees who are not responsible for their own job but for break time never coming back it wasn't even full and 4 cashiers were open It took me 44 min to send a letter and buy stamps with 3 people ahead of me. They said they delivered my package last August 4th and August 6th at Camella plaza located at temple city.but until now I did not receive even a single package. Please tell your postman to open your mailbox located at the plaza and deliver it at unit 102. read more

Manager at this Postal office did not train customer Service in this location correctly. Specially all Asian representatives (male). Customers are the one who bring business to your location and postal office should appreciate us. Not only that you guys still have your job because of us! I have never felt more mistreated than I was at this post office. I went to the post office at 12 to get my passport renewed but there was already a person there before me. At 12:25 the people before me were helped by an old chinese guy. The guy doing the passports ignored me after he helped the person in front of me and went back to help other customers who were sending mail even though there was only one or two customers and there were other workers there. At 12:45 I still hadn't been helped, there were two others behind me, and no one had given me any updates which was expected from the post office. I asked a youngish asian guy how much longer it would take and he said about five minutes and told me that they only had 3 workers and only the old asian guy did passports. I told him I already waited 45 minutes so another five was no big deal. Ten minutes later the young asian worker tells the passport guy to go take a lunch break.... are you serious?! So the old asian guy disappears and the young one comes out and says to the poeple behind us that the guy is going on his lunch break, it's going to take 30 minutes before he is back. At this point i was BEYOND annoyed so I said are you fcking kidding me? And the asian guy says "was I talking to you? You cussed and I don't want cussing here. If you don't like our service you can leave. Go somewhere else." I said I was leaving anyways. Then my mom asked him if we had to wait 30 minutes before coming back. He turns to her and says, "Maam I wasn't talking to you" in the rudest tone of voice. I told him he couldn't talk to her like that and he turns to me again and says, "Was I talking to you? I'm not talking to you. Why are you still here? You need to leave. You cussed. Go somewhere else if you don't like this service." I left immediately. This worker is the most rude person that I have ever encountered. I have never been this angered with bad service. When I told people about my experience they all said that this was the worst postal service in the area and I should have never come here. I will be filing a formal complaint. Package was mailed to me (12-23-13). Woman sent me the tracking number as I questioned where package was? TCPO states was Delivered on 12-26-13 at 12:00 to my residence. since its 12-31-13 I didn't find the package (box) anywhere . so I stop my regular delivery guy, he tells me he was off that day and I now have to call office in Temple City. so I call and (EMERSON) the guy is out to lunch (It Gets Better) so since he Does Not Return my call as I left ph number I call Him and he takes All information and Tracking Number and he will get back to me. (Don't hold your breath you will be DEAD) says he will investigate as to who delivered package. So I Call again as No Response from the UPSP. then I get EMESONS and He Sound Like He DRUNK or some issue. Emerson states I checked it out (BS) and the guy said he delivered it SO ITS NOW MY PROBLEM. I ask him what's his Duties and the head man at post office and he responds with something LIKE ITS YOUR PROBLEM. If This is the Best that TEMPLE CITY CAN DO as a Post Office Lets CLOSE IT or REPLACE EMERSON (the WORM) he's an INSULT to the Public Supporting him by using the USPS. This Post Office is INCOMPETENT. That is I-N-C-O-M-P-E-T-E-N-T. No one at the Temple City P.O. including the management seems to have any idea how the concept of mail hold works. You tell them to stop mail delivery on a Monday and resume on Wednesday. I have requested four mail holds over the course of the past year and they f##ked up every one of them. They either deliver the mail anyway or don't resume on the day they are supposed to. I asked that mail be held this past Saturday and resumed today. Mail didn't come so I called and was told "oh, it's still here," to which I ask if they are going to bring it. "Oh, probably tomorrow." Really? And if I'm not home a big pile of mail is just going to sit there waiting to be stolen? What a bunch of typical, well paid dim-witted government bureaucrats. Where is the accountability? To whom do you file a complaint? Government employees are like a protected species. I avoid using them like the plague unless I absolutely have no other options. They should go out of business and be replaced by a private firm. Whoever manages that branch should be demoted. BTW, it is now 5:45PM and no mail. read more

I came in happy and left not feeling as great. I was shipping a couple books internationally and the employee gave me a hard time. He was smiling and joking with the client before me and when it was my turn his first words were, "What do you want?!" with an angry glare and spoke to me in a harsh tone for using the wrong label. He was constantly glaring at me for making a small mistake. I was the only person there so there was no line. Thank you! Now that really helped me clarify to never come to this post office ever again or until they change their staff. San Marino's is much more efficient, friendly, and patient. read more

I'm sorry. I don't feel like others today. Very bad experience with Temple City Post Office. Passport service hour is Mon-Friday 10:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. I got there 2:30 p.m. for Passport renewal. 2 customers in lines for information. When I got to the desk on 2:45 p.m. and told me that I was late. Passport service close on 2:30 p.m. Not even 3:00 p.m. yet. I told him that your service hour is till 3:00 p.m. and he refused the service. Customer were watching and listening our conversation. Finally told me to wait. Another employee came about 3:05 p.m. and support to help me. But end up with many excuses and told me to come back another day. Bad bad bad. Rude, waste federal money and all tax payers money. No professional on jobs which we support to rely on. Sad... we have them in our residents.... read more

I don't really go to this post office very often but when I do I have never had any problems with the employees. Especially Tim who always seems nice. BUT, my problem has been with their delivery. It seems to have begun a few months ago. My mail delivered to my neighbor at 9902 and his mail being given to me at 9905. We keep exchanging mail. How hard is it to read an address? I ordered a product online 2 weeks ago and tracked it. After a few days the tracking said it was delivered but I never got it. I searched everywhere including my bushes and my neighbor's bushes but nothing. Contacted the company I bought the product from and they sent me another order and gave me free shipping because of the problem. Tracked this one too. One day it said it was at my post office so I figured I'd get it that or the next day. Nothing. Checked tracking again and it said nobody was home to sign for it so a note was left telling me what do to. No note. Not anywhere. Went to the post office, talked to a manager whose attitude was he couldn't much care less but did retrieve my package. I found out that the route my house is in was split up into other routes and I am always getting a new letter carrier. This was some kind of cost saving measure. They don't seem to care that their customer service is suffering. Now when I buy anything online and am given a choice of shipping I will ALWAYS choose any way but USPS. read more

2:49 pm on Monday 3/27/2017 and I've been standing in line for 30 minutes with only one counter person working the entire time. The line has about a dozen people in it. I actually feel sorry for the counter person as I'm sure she feels pressure. The problem here is poor management. As I've been standing here (now going on 40 minutes) I've seen two of the other regular counter people moving around in-and-out of the doors to the back. An apparent supervisor has disappeared for the last 15 minutes (after asking whether anyone is dropping anything off or picking up). Ooops...now he's back. In response to customer complaints he finally announces that he had two people call in sick today, hence only one person working the counter. What about the two regular counter folks who I saw walking around? Why aren't you rolling up your sleeves and opening up on the counter yourself? Is there no back-up system in place when you have counter folks call-in sick? I repeat...poor management. read more
