Moved in for only one night lucky and moved right back out the next day. Lucky I only unloaded a few things. After the first day I discovered there are roaches at this facility and bathroom was disgusting. The hallways lighting was not good dark hallways with dead roaches all over the ground. Could see some running. And I had to clean my space myself before I could move anything in there because it had calcium buildup and rat droppings and what seems to look like termite droppings. I brought it up to the manager some items she just told me this is an old building. I should have known as soon as she said that I should have not unpacked anything and left got a refund. Plus as the next day when I returned to get my belongings out. There were people who drove in just to hang out there were a couple suspicious looking people parked and smoking in the parking areas of the facility. Avoid this place unless u like rodents and roaches in your stuff. read more

They seemed so friendly----- then you rent a spot and it all goes down hill. They raised my rent after only 7 months!!!! That's because they fixed the road where my trailer was parked. They CHARGED me to move my trailer so they could repair the road, then raise my rent. I'm out. Found a much better location and much cheaper. What a scam here. Low down dirty dogs. Then, the topper--- they close for lunch. The office SHOULD ALWAYS BE OPEN. Go to Storage Etc. They don't close for lunch. It's for customers convenience, not the workers!!!!!!! Do not use this company. They will try to extort you. The facility I was at closes at 7. I was leaving at 7:04 and the automatic gate would not open. I called in to help center and they told me that they can get me out but I have to pay $50 or agree to pay $50 or they will not open the gate. I told them that I won't pay that fee, because that is the definition of extortion. I am now waiting for the cops to show up and I have been stuck in their facilities for over an hour and a half. Do not trust this company as they will, literally hold you prisoner for money. I hope they have good lawyers. At first no issues. Everyone friendly when asking for a rental. Rent increased a few times while I rented and not always clean. I would see trash and at one point saw a dead mice same spot a few times (signs that no one cleans or walks through). The day I moved my stuff out, no one was at the office for me to notify. I went to the "US Storage" website under "contact us" I submitted a message that I was no longer going to rent the space and I had cleaned it out. Due to past burglaries and vandalism, I left the lock still on. The storage unit was emptied before the first of the month (cameras all over the facility to proof). I was then notified that my payment was overdue. I went in person and the clerk adamant said NO message was left and I needed to pay or the payment would go into collections. I asked to speak to the manager in charge and was not on the premises. According to the clerk, she will send my acct to the manager to be "cleared" and not to worry about it anymore. I believed her until a year later I get a collections letter! Would never rent from here again and would never recommend it to anyone either!! read more

That's a long time to me, but Customer Service was always great and I usually talked to Sandy. When I went this past weekend to finally get my stuff out, she could not have more polite and accommodating. My mom passed in 2016 I had 30 years of clutter memories and furniture your associate Neal got me into the right size that I needed was above professional about my needs losing my mom ,made sure I knew of all the promotionals to get discounts moving in as we have just endured funeral cost as well some of my things are still there I feel very safe with them there knowing that Neil is on site 4 to 5 days a week I was in last month and there was an issue that required police officers to be called in so it was nice to know that they're right on top of any wrongdoings that may happen as it does happen everywhere but like I said I feel very secure with my belongings there and I think Neal for all of his customer service kindness and professionalism read more

When rating storage facilities, no surprises is the most important factor. It is not how nice the staff is. US Storage intentionally sucks you in with a reduced monthly storage fee. Once you have established yourself as a unit holder they raise the rent. Here I am, only 1 year into the rental and they have already raised my rent - excessively. I started out at $169, comparable to other units in the area. My rent is now $219.50 monthly. That is 129% fee of the original rental after only one year. I am getting ready to move my stuff because I can get much better and less deceitful pricing elsewhere. But I will say, it is not cheap to move your stuff. Better to not come her in the first place. read more

My experience is amazing everytime i come here. This morning, I came by, and the employee, Neal, was helping out this older lady. She was distraught about how her life was going, and how she couldn't afford storage. He encouraged her that things were gonna be ok. She kept saying how wonderful he was, how he always takes the time to listen to her and how it's a personal experience when she comes in.
