Sheldon, Ricky and Ashley are amazing employees! I had a dispute with my former boss who had me get him a storage unit so the storage unit is in my name although he pays for the storage unit... So when he neglected to give me my final check, I changed the locks on his storage unit. He became very upset with the employees for not allowing him access to the storage unit, but the storage unit is in my name it doesn't matter who pays for it. It's in my name so I applaud the employees that actually did what they were supposed to do and not let him into the storage unit. He gave me my final check-in when I say final check it was over $7000. He owed me. I got my money thank you after I got paid, I had gave the keys to the lock to the people. And I wrote a note saying that he is allowed access someone came and changed it into their name and that was that other than that the storage area always clean. There's always a dolly that you can use to move your stuff around air conditioned it's a great storage facility. If you have to use a storage facility I highly suggest extra space storage read more

Storage was broken into. They didn't tell me I had had their special lock before hand. I'll lost some very personal things that did not have any value to anyone but me heirlooms plus about $5000 worth of fees I can replace. The gentleman working until 6 today gave me the best customer service I've had in a really long time. I came in rite before closing around 5:30pm after struggling on a third party site and then finding success on the direct one. When I walked in the place was super clean and it smelled really good too. I wish I remembered the guys name but he found all these reservations I had opened up online and consolidated them down to one. Helped with a refund because I paid twice on accident. Walked and showed me exactly where my unit was, explained how to use the lock, the gate and everything! I felt like the interaction was very genuine and I wasn't expecting much just because it's a storage spot but I'm very impressed with the level of service. Spoke with Martha on the phone, in reference to extending the contract on my storage unit. At first, I was disappointed to learn of the rent increase that would apply to my monthly charges, but I stated my desire for her to do what she could to lessen the amount if possible. She needed to get approval for this adjustment, but when she returned my call, I was extremely pleased and grateful for her efforts. She was very friendly and helpful on the phone, and it is obvious that she advocated for me behind the scenes, in order to lower my rate. I am very appreciative of Martha's efforts. read more

Once I arrived to access my unit, Dana was there to help me every step of the way. VERY UNSAFE. This is the second time in about a month and a half that the whole place has been torn apart by thieves at night. Last time they hit our unit among dozens of others and stole our tools. Our unit door is still smashed in, they just half ass popped the dent outward and left it. There's still no security at the place. How many times in 3 months do half of your units need to get burglarized by a bunch of dudes in a big ass truck before you hire one security guard to just sit on his ass all night and call the cops if he happens to see a giant truck break in at night? Corporate takes no responsibility, same bs and excuses as last time. All they can say is that they are "working on improving security" and "things don't happen over night." You know what does happen overnight? Everything you store here can disappear overnight. read more

Came here with a reservation...on Saturday I was helped as ordered I came in.. about 15 minutes of waiting.. I was showed the unit I came to look at..the storage place look cleaned and gated with cameras.. the staff did great job showing me two more units.. unfortunately I returned later that day but the unit I liked was taken....I liked how they had the free month special... But I know is a business I would recommend bringing your own lock and boxes it can get pricey if you're on a budget plus insurance..which is recommended.. I absolutely will advise you not to Go with this company. I reserved a unit, had my apartment all packed ready to move in to the unit. Come to find out, they gave my reservation to someone else. What is the point of a reservation then? Their staff was useless. The property manager told me "I should have gotten it sooner". I needed a unit with a large door to move in furniture so I asked if there was anything they can do. Keep in mind all the units left with the same size I requested only has smaller doors. I asked if we can get a bigger unit and figure out a price to accommodate us for the mistake they made or even if we can get the same price and size at a different location. They said no. I left very unhappy and stressed because I had my apartment stripped and no where to go. I contacted their customer service and requested to speak to their district manager since the property manager and the property manager's supervisor were not helpful. They informed me the district manager would contact me within 24 hours. I called on a Friday and I did not hear from their district manager (Kim W) until Monday, and my move out date from my apartment was Saturday. Unfortunately, I never got my belongings out of this dump. Life happens, and sometimes you can't follow through on stuff like this. I had to grab a suit out of storage the other day for a funeral. What did I find when I arrived? More broken glass in my unit, the smell of piss, and mouse shit everywhere. If these jackasses had done what I requested months ago, this wouldn't be an issue. I asked them to put a door sweep on my unit because of the giant gap between the floor and the bottom of the door. Instead, I have an unsanitary unit full of rodent shit and broken glass. The manager and district manager for this place are complete assholes. I was assaulted by another tenant a few months back and they did absolutely nothing. Now, they have offered to move my stuff to another unit, but I HAVE TO MOVE EVERYTHING, not them. They refuse to offer any assistance despite the fact that they are solely responsible for this mess and could have avoided it altogether if they had used any sort of common sense when I originally requested the door sweep. And once again, instead of offering any kind of information, they just sent me a copy of my lease and basically said, "figure it out." Fuck these assholes. Worst management of a facility I have ever seen. By the way, I was a facilities manager for years before I retired, so I have some idea of what I'm talking about.
