I can unequivocally say that I received truly perfect service from Karen, the Manager at US Storage Laguna Hills. She is the kindest, most respectful, caring and polite person! Never having used a storage unit before I had many questions and she was unbelievably patient, explained things in such a clear and comprehensible way, and never made me feel bad about asking what had to be obvious questions. Karin went out of her way to be helpful and address all of my concerns. This past 1 1/2 years have been challenging for everyone. I heard someone on the radio say, "Assume everyone you come in contact with is operating at 50% now, including you." Need storage? I just had to share this. The entire staff at US Storage Centers on Moulton in Laguna Hills is great, but DAISY is BEYOND AWESOME! She is wonderfully helpful, extremely patient and accommodating, and always more than pleasant to deal with. I have rented storage spaces a few times in the past and have NEVER run into this level of customer service! Plus, they're much less expensive than anywhere in the area (50% off the first 2 months) AND they have a moving truck they let you use AT NO CHARGE when you move your things in. It doesn't get any better than this. Trust me, don't bother going anywhere else. I'm so grateful I found them and you will be too. read more

I rented a storage unit today and was blown away by the excellent customer service. Marilyn & Karin at Moulton Facility were incredible. I mostly interacted with Marilyn and rented the unit because I am storing my aging mother's things. My mother's name is Marilyn. Marilyn (jBoth!) was, and/are, compassionate, and efficient. They were watching me try to find my unit after Marilyn had already taken me there and given me a map but my mental state was such that I circled and all of a sudden there was Karin in the golf cart to lead me to my unit. Please give them both raise if you can or add a little something extra to thier xmas bonus. read more

I went in the other day since my lock was not working & Bryan the weekend manager assisted me in cutting off my lock & putting a much easier lock to use, so I could get back into my unit & add some items I have needed to put in my unit. My friend is about to move to Laguna Woods and had to store things at a storage. He found this place online and asked me to go there last Saturday to sign the contract. This is the first time I've been to US Storage and I was really impressed. Cris was extremely helpful and took us on a quick tour of the place and let us choose the storage room. The place has a gate that is accessed through code. Very clean and safe. Location is great, it's next to the famous Laguna Woods retirement community. I highly recommend US Storage at Laguna Niguel. read more

I received good customer service when I was arranging to rent and move in to the unit. However, after 3 months the special fee was over, which they did informed me. But it came after the 6th months being renting that again the fee want up. Called Karin to ask why the fee went up. She informed me now that fee goes up to the rates, don't understand that. So she said every 6-8 months they do increase. Be careful they don't explain that when you sign up. read more

I received good customer service when I was arranging to rent and move in to the unit. However, that was all a sales effort to get me in the door and the good service stopped there. Once you are already in the unit they make it almost impossible to do anything including cancelling your contract. I was travelling abroad (the reason I rented the unit in the first place) and because of their strict, unflexible policies for moving out and presenting notification in person, I was forced to pay for an extra month of storage (not cheap after the initial promotional period ended). Even when I was back in the country they caused major inconveniences by their policy of having to drop off the cancellation form in their office instead of allowing email or fax. Not everyone has time during the day or gas money to spare to drive down to the office 10 days in advance of moving out. Any time I called the company and got the call center, the phone representatives were unhelpful. UPDATE: Eventually the officer manager Karin was able to waive the requirement for having to drop off the move-out form in person 10 days in advance, she cleared it over the phone saving me the inconvenience and hassle. However, once I finally did go and move out all of my stuff I realized that some of my items were stolen out of the unit :( We are not sure if somebody picked the lock or if somebody walked by and snatched them while a family member was inside with the door open, trying to retrieve an item from the far inner corners. Based on all of that, I would say my overall experience with this place was not so good. The office manager helped me fill out the insurance claim form and file a police report for the missing items. However, if you do rent space here, just be very careful with security, avoid leaving valuable items in there, and if you run into any problems with customer service try to get in touch with the actual office manager who has authority to solve issues, not with the call center which seems to be useless at resolving issues. read more

This storage facility is great. About 7 months ago, I brought my entire life and moved it into storage. When I did research, this location was the most affordable. When I went to the property to speak with someone about the unit itself, I was helped by Karen...Who was so awesome!! She was so helpful and got me set up in such a great easy access unit right by the gate and right by the door. Their prices are probably the best around and can't be beat.
