Solid AYCE Japanese BBQ option at $35/person. Good variety of meats. We tried a bunch of the meats. The sweet soy beef shoulder and beef brisket were my favorites, really flavorful and tender. Some cuts were hit or miss though. A few pieces came out chewy, so it depends a bit on what you order. Pork jowl and intestines are on the menu too if that's your thing. The appetizers were a mixed bag. The cheese corn was good, and there's grilled miso eggplant, seaweed salad, and more available. The eggplant came out a bit over-grilled, and the seaweed salad never showed up even though we ordered it. Ordering is through a QR code at the table. You can place a new order every few minutes. The table also has a good variety of sauces plus salt so you can mix things up as you go. The restaurant was completely full but the staff were quick with the meats and dishes, and they stayed on top of clearing plates too. It gets busy, so I'd recommend a reservation. Solid spot overall, and we might try the Wagyu menu ($55) next time.

I really like this place! For its price as a BBQ spot, it's actually very good value compared to other dinner prices. I think that Japanese grill compared to Korean grill tends to be smokier, which is my jam The water is lemony, the sauce is tasty, and the sides are also quite nice! Service is very fast and quick (but I also came with friends at a slower time). Overall vibe is chill, elegant, and the sound of sizzling meat

Pretty good for an ayce. Did the wagyu option and it was not bad, can't expect too much for the price. The galbi is the best option. Big plus is the dipping sauce option and kimchi. Must get the Takoyaki. It's actually the best in the Bay Area so far.

Got put on the waitlist prior to our arrival via the yelp app which was very helpful. By the time we got there, we didn't wait too much longer to be seated. They have two options for the ayce, either standard or premium. Both come with many options. The standard menu is 35. The premium menu is 55 and includes wagyu and a drink. The also offer alcoholic beverages which are a separate charge. Once you are seated and the waiter activates your table, you have 90 minutes. Your last order must be placed before 75 minutes. You scam the QR code that is on the table and can place your order. You can add 6 meats at a time. Their menu had the meat, a few rice bowls and a few appetizers. They had 3 sauces at each table, fruity, miso and a soy sauce twist one. All were good. You also have the option to order a spicy sauce and a brisket sauce via the app. The staff was very polite. It didnt take too long for the food and drinks ordered to be brought out. The staff was constantly picking up the empty dishes from our table. No complaints with staff, they were great. Overall the restaurant was a good size with seating for 4-6 people at a time. Not sure how well multiple big groups would be seated. A major disadvantage of this place was I didn't feel they had adequate ventilation. The smoke from the grill went right into our faces, no overhead vents to pull the smoke. Other than that I enjoyed our dinner

Stopped in for dinner tonight after a day full of theme parking. Great selection and customer service. The staff was super nice and our orders came out promptly. We selected the classic menu that was $35/pp and well worth it as the selection was quite impressive. I'm a big fan of the eggplant and their beef bone soup. Hubby loved their finger rib meat. Everything was delicious. We will for sure come back next time ! Highly recommend you make reservations or expect to wait.

Came in for a Saturday night and it honestly didn't take too long to get seated if you join the waitlist on your way over. We did the standard AYCE menu for $35 and it was surprisingly really cheap for all that it offered. The meats are flavorful, but I'd say service was average. Everything is ordered through the QR code and they definitely missed many items here and there. Then the other half of the time you think they missed it so you order it again and two show up. Do love that they offer a lot of appetizers and rice bowls though - a LOT more than your standard AYCE place. Also worth noting that ventilation around the grills work really well so you won't leave smelling like BBQ at all.

$35 all you can eat. 90 minute limit and 6 items per order. The grills cook very quickly so you don't have to sit there waiting for it to cook. Salt n pepper Short ribs were so good :) they have a variety of protein and sides even for the regular menu. There were beef, pork, chicken, squid, shrimp, veggies, and sides: tried the tofu agadashi, takoyaki, potato croquet, edamame. Three sauces: miso, ushiya spicy sauce, and fruity sauce, and you could also order brisket sauce. I liked the miso sauce a lot.

I had made an advanced reservation by phone for my group of 12 people to celebrate a birthday. It was for a Saturday at 6pm. Despite my group was 20 minutes late, the staffs were very accommodating. We were split between 2 tables close to each other. Each table had 1 grill. We opted for the $55/pp AYCE premium menu. The first order was taken by the staff. Each subsequent order was taken on our phones via QR code. It seemed we ordered much more than the 6 item limit allowed per round and it wasn't an issue. Items came out fast. Not only were the Wagyu items good, but so were most of the appetizers and side dishes including: Takoyaki, fried squid tentacles, agedashi tofu, karaage and miso eggplant. Some were just ok. I found the cheese corn to have too much mayo, the garlic fries were mid and the edamame had too much black pepper. If you are thinking of getting plain rice, get a donburi bowl because that way you have rice and meat too. When our 90 minutes up, we were never rushed to leave. We didn't even get a reminder that our time was running out. Each staff was friendly. We would definitely come back again.

    Gloria T.

First time here and everything was great, we ordered the premium set and was very satisfied with all the American and Australian Wagyu choices. The Wagyu brisket and the Wagyu strip loin were our favorites. The chicken Karaage was a surprise hit good to break it up. If you're over the meat. One tiny suggestion is to get longer straws for the tall soda cups. Anh and Eliott and Donny were great.

    Jess U.

Came here to celebrate a friends birthday and we ordered the premium menu ($55/person) and I really enjoyed every meat that we ordered. The ordering system is via a website so you can keep ordering without waiting for a server to come to you. The food did come out pretty slow which may be because you are not assigned 1 specific server, but other than that it was a great meal! I definitely recommend upgrading for the wagyu meats. All of the appetizers and sides were great too. It's lively inside with plenty of seating. Def worth a try!

    S N.

Wide selection of meat. Fast service, high-quality, and a great vibe! They offer a great selection of dipping sauces too.

    Yiuki C.

Really impressed with the quality here. The marbling on the beef was great, and it sizzled perfectly on the grill. It's always a plus when a place offers corn cheese as a side--it adds that perfect creamy contrast to the smoky, grilled meat. A great spot for anyone who appreciates a good BBQ session.

Weekday visit for lunch. First time here. We did the signature. Decent size restaurant with good amount of tables. Service was efficient. The person helping was also nice. Easy ordering thru your phone. We liked the Brisket. My husband loved the Intestine and Pork Shoulder. Get the Vegetables too! We will be back if in the area to try the other premium menu. I got a regular bowl which comes with a choice of black rice, white sushi rice, or salad as your has option, three proteins and a bunch of free toppings. I had half and half black & white rice with a bit of salad on top per the suggestion of the worker. The spicy salmon is apparently not always there but it sure was today so I had to try it. Would recommend. I got the spicy shrimp and spicy tuna for my other options. For my toppings I got every free option and a light unagi drizzle to finish. Generous is an understatement. It's probably double the amount of protein you actually need and I bet not a single soul would complain. I went home and weighed everything out cuz I'm cutting some weight so here's the main ingredients by the gram if you're curious: 725 cals, 57P, 18F, 83C (not including veg toppings and sauces): - 125g black rice - 130g white sushi rice - 65g spicy tuna - 50g spicy shrimp - 70g spicy salmon - 65g crab mix - 35g avocado If you add all the other stuff it's still probs under 1000 cals. Great healthy meal. Fresh ingredients, great flavor, well worth the $20 after tax. Will return whenever I'm in the area.

He said it's more tasty with the cheese on it. Other than the meat, I'm not sure if I would come here for soup. The clear soups I've gotten here are so-so. The mild galibijjim was delicious with the cheese on top. The sauce was perfectly salty for pouring over rice, though it wasn't spicy at all (so will probably get the medium next time). The meat was tender and juicy and there was so much of it as well. The base dish came with rice cakes but I should have ordered extra as most of it was gone half way through the meal. The Mul Naengmyeon was cold and refreshing, especially after eating the galbijjim. The restaurant itself is pretty small so the waiters do try to rush you along in order to turn over the tables, but they also worked very hard to make sure your meal was satisfying. They also packed away the left overs in a heat sealed container so it wouldn't spill in the car and keeps for a while in your fridge. Overall a very pleasant experience if you come early enough and don't have to wait in line.
