I've been coming to this place for over a year, and the quality has been consistently amazing. I've tried a lot of Korean BBQ restaurants, but this is by far my favorite. We got the lettuce wrap (aka leaves) glad we got it because it made it feel healthier. banchan: came with: square little rice paper wraps (not as healthy as lettuce but something), kim chee, sprouts, marinated onions with peppers (spicy! but I'm a wimp, any spice is too much for me), jap chae I didn't like the self-order on tablet. (at least it wasn't order off phone, I really hate that) at other restaurants if you order enough, they "service you" free steamed egg. Met up with a friend at Seorai based on a recommendation. Place is rustic with wood tables and wall panelings. We were early so had a choice of tables and were quickly seated. We ordered the seafood pancake. One of the best seafood pancake I've had. They ensure both sides are cooked/browned and crispy. The sauce is light and does not overpower the pancake like others do. They offerred 6 different panchan. They didn't offer a refill so am assuming it's not refillable. One thing unique that I've not seen as panchan before is the marinated raw crab with kimchi sauce. It was delicious! You squeeze and suck on the shell for the crab meat to come out. Will go back again even if it's just for the spicy marinated crab. For main, we shared the Samgyeopsal (Korean pork belly slices). The pork was tender. We wrapped it on lettuce and put some garlic and ssamjang. Each bite was oh so good. There was plenty and we had some leftovers. You see Koreans eating at the restaurant which is a good sign. Staff was busy and sometimes, it can take time to get their attention. For some reason, our table did not have the buzzer (or we just can't find it). Definitely a place worth going. If their pork is this good, wonder what their beef dishes taste like. Came here for their lunch special and was pleasantly surprised! Lunch total was around $100 for 2 people serving and it came with enough meat for 3 people. It also included a soup which I thought helped balance out the meat. They don't give rice for free but they had unlimited amount of rice paper and salad which I loved. We couldn't finish and had to take the rest home! I know the price seems high but it felt like AYCE because of the quantity but I liked how it was good quality meat and they grill it for you. I also liked how it wasn't that busy during lunch time so I didn't feel overwhelmed as I usually do at Korean bbq places. The meat definitely tasted more premium than an average shop's. The doenjang stew and marinated meat were flavorful and balanced. I particularly liked how each meat was thoughtfully cooked on a different type of grill plate. Their selection of banchan was fun and enjoyable, but the standout side for me was the ssamjang. It added a nice touch of savoriness but in a more restrained way I was surprised by since ssamjang usually has a more assertive flavor. Some non-food notes: service was great and they cook the meat for you, interior is clean and inviting, parking can be annoying because the plaza's parking lot is small and congested, and the wait time was long on a Saturday evening. Took visiting family to experience a nice KBBQ spot and Seorai did not disappoint. I've been before on busy nights so it was a nice change of pace to go on a slow Friday afternoon. It has been awhile since we last finished this establishment. We were able to make reservations today and not have to come when they open to get a table!!! Our waitress remembered us and warmly greeted us. Choi is so nice, friendly and welcoming. She remembers our kids and wished us a Happy New Year and was so attentive to us. Food was awesome. They updated their banchans and the two new sides that we loved were the crab (gejang) and I literally ate all of it myself. We went to a restaurant called Sorae today after my husband highly recommended it, and it was such a great experience. The food was delicious, but what really made our visit special was our server, Joy. She was so friendly and welcoming that I honestly thought she might be the owner. She explained the menu so well and was genuinely happy to see people enjoying their popular dakgalbi, which made the whole experience feel even warmer. Shout out to my girlies for taking me out for some KBBQ to celebrate my birthday!! After lots of contemplating and mental anguish, I finally decided to get off my behind and agree to dinner. Here's where Seorai Korean BBQ comes into play.... Let me start off with the annoying-ness that is the parking situation. Located within the Slavich Plaza, you will find a Dollar Tree, Big Mug Coffee Roasters, a hair salon, & Matsu Matcha- just to name a few. Even with a spacious looking lot, parking doesn't come easy. Come patient, be ready to get some steps in, and be a kind driver by choosing NOT to illegally park like a lot of drivers do!! Our party of 3 arrive and are immediately seated. Viewing the menu and ordering is done through the tablets located at each table. We went with the BEEF COMBO which includes: beef brisket, beef bulgogi, marinated galbi pieces, & soybean stew. For an additional $4 we added the lettuce wrap. 8 different banchan arrives + a thinly sliced onions & chive mix. The staff then quickly returns with the different plates of meats and will start the cooking process for you. The staff will actually handle all of the cooking aspect, periodically rotating between other diners and then coming right back to you. Food: Banchan was good, just not great. Shout out to Seorai for actually having fish cakes because so many places no longer offer this side. I like the assortment of the sides but a majority of them were very bland. The galbi pieces were the best of the best when it came down to the 3 different beef dishes provided. The beef bulgogi was extra sweet but that is expected when it comes to bulgogi. Brisket was plentiful and all the meats in general were good quality. Soybean stew was delicious- so delicious I converted my girls into being fans as well. Extra points for Seorai's doenjang [thick, savory fermented soybean sauce], this stuff was absolutely annihilated. 3 stars overall for the food + banchan but 1 extra star because the young gentleman server. They also cook the meat for you, which was really nice, and it ended up being the perfect amount for our group We had the beef brisket (one of my favorites), beef belly, pork jowl (my absolute favorite), and the long ribs. It was my first time trying the long ribs and I can see why it's their most ordered item- it was so delicious and tender, especially wrapped in lettuce, radish paper, and rice paper. The kimchi fried rice was top notch, and the tea was delicious as well. The staff was very attentive and kept helping replenish items. Knew it was time to give this one a go. I'm a big intestine fan and after trying out AYCE KBBQ (Gen, YakiniQ, etc.) and Four Quarters down in LA, this place was next on my list. My favorite was the beef brisket hands down. The meat quality was really good and the sauce was amazing. For the banchan, I really liked the radish and kimchi. Sister loved the rice paper (wrap a piece of meet with some onions and greens in it for an extra touch). The waiters were REALLY good at cooking the meat, they made the bulgogi look like an art piece, and it was good! I don't like bulgogi usually as it is minced and hard to eat but Seorai does it right. We tried the beef combo at Seorai Korean BBQ. The staff cooks the meat for you at the table, which is fine, but our server wasn't paying close attention to the grill. As a result, the brisket came out badly overcooked--dry, tough, and chewy. Unfortunately, the quality of the meat was not on par with other Korean BBQ restaurants we've visited, especially considering how expensive this place is. We had high hopes, but the meat was very disappointing. We came early when it wasn't busy at all (we were basically the second table), so it wasn't a rush issue. On the positive side, the ambiance is nice and I really liked their unique banchan selection. Because of the meat quality and the high prices for what we got, I won't be coming back. The pork jowl was too fatty and wasn't favored by the table. We got refills of the kimchi, radish, kelp noodle apple, bean sprouts, and japchae. These were the best sides. We asked one server for rice and they never came back with rice. We asked another server for rice and they never came back with rice. I think we got rice on the 3rd ask. We def got a bit too much but honestly it was so yum we didn't mind taking the rest home. The brisket - nice and fatty! This was just your standard beef brisket but it wasn't dry at all! This place is amazing. I mean, amazing, and I eat a fair amount of Korean BBQ. It's a smaller place in a strip mall off Steven's Creek, very close to Bay Spa and that area. Parking isn't too bad and the restaurant is on the smaller site but set up well, so it doesn't feel small at all, and the service is beyond phenomenal. I went with a friend and we were WELL taken care of. We waiting for nothing, the bonchon came quickly and they prepare all the food for you. As for the food, it was good. Just really, REALLY good. We ordered the Seafood Pancake, which was crispy and a really good amount of seafood, with not a huge amount of onions / scallions. The bonchon was ample and super delicious. Especially the kimchi and the fish cake, but they had so many different things including Japchae as bonchon! As for the meat, the spicy pork belly was really, REALLY good. Just the right amount of spice, great marinade, it was cooked just right and they used a nice stand to let the grease drip off in the plate, so you weren't eating the greasy bits when it cooled off a little bit. The Galbi was amazing, but it may have slightly lost to the pork belly. That said, it was still really, REALLY good. The marinade had a touch of sugar in it, so it made a nice, almost crispy on some of the pieces, but still super tender inside. Just overall an amazing experience, and it's cheaper than Chungdam (which is ALSO amazing and I think owned by the same group), so it's definitely a better deal, because you get amazing food, amazing food without the "nice" restaurant price. This restaurant has a fun and chic atmosphere with unique furnishings, and a great sound system. It is NOT ayce, but worth the experience. We ordered the beef, and pork combos and we really enjoyed both. Each combo comes with 3 preset meats and a soup. Our hosts cooked and served the meats right in front of us, and all we had to do was eat. Each meat had its own proper preparation style and we enjoyed observing the different ways each meat had been cooked. Our meats were grilled, flambéd, or stir fried. The bonchan variety was also wonderful. The pricing is appropriate for the amazing food and service. Absolutely a great spot to celebrate good times. There's even a birthday promo if you enjoy Soju. We were full by the time the last meat was ready, but since this place is not AYCE, taking home leftovers is ok. Parking lot is shared among the business park. I really like the portion sizes and at the end of the day, it is kbbq with solid marbling. Key highlights: 1) Kimchi is out of the world here. 2) Service was AMAZING! 3) They help grill the meat for you here. 4) Large, quality portions. I'm normally not a fan of cold noodles so I was shocked how much I liked this one. 4) Pineapple juice: 5/5 can't believe I'm leaving a review for pineapple juice but god it was refreshing! It's freshly squeezed pineapple juice--not the syrup kind. Service was amazing!! Everyone was SO friendly and attentive. I really appreciated the girl with who was serving us! She was super helpful in helping us decide what to order and also super personable. The ahjumma was also super sweet and taught us the best pairings to eat our pork lettuce wrap with. Ambiance was great as well. Didn't feel overly greasy and musty. The air vents seemed to be pretty strong here. Plenty of seating. 10/10 going to recommend this spot for sure. read more

Great place for a group and for kbbq! The meats were great, really juicy and tender and they had table service which was nice as most places are self service. I also loved the selection of banchan (side dishes too). However, the other dishes were a hit or miss, the kimchi pancake was ok, not the most tasty or crispiest I've had, and the army stew was good but not amazing. But we did really like the cold noodles! Overall decent pricing for the quality of meats but still on the pricier side. read more

This was our first time trying Seorai and it was delicious! The portions were huge and the service was amazing. You need to look for Judy who cooked my whole entire meal. Her service is unmatched. I need to go back to look for her ASAP. Cannot wait to be back! read more
