Came here for their lunch special and was pleasantly surprised! Lunch total was around $100 for 2 people serving and it came with enough meat for 3 people. It also included a soup which I thought helped balance out the meat. They don't give rice for free but they had unlimited amount of rice paper and salad which I loved. We couldn't finish and had to take the rest home! I know the price seems high but it felt like AYCE because of the quantity but I liked how it was good quality meat and they grill it for you. I also liked how it wasn't that busy during lunch time so I didn't feel overwhelmed as I usually do at Korean bbq places. The service was also excellent - they refilled all the side dishes for us quickly! I recommend coming here for their lunch special!

The food was good and the staff were friendly. My only gripe is that if you go with a large party, they cook it for you and leave it on a plate afterwards, so the meat quickly cools off. I think it was ok when I went as a party of 2.

Keep you after the BTS concert and wanted some Korean barbecue. This place is not all you can eat, but I felt like they had really good quality meat. They also gave a discount if you went to see BTS concert which I thought was a very special touch. The servers also cook the meat for you so you don't have to worry about doing that.

Came here because they had a BTS promotion, but I am so glad I was able to try this spot. Service was spectacular and everyone worked very quick. I got the Beef Combo and that would definitely be able to fill 3 people up. Side dishes were perfect and I think this place is definitely one of the best I've had for this type of Korean BBQ.

    Banchan spread! Lettuce was a $4 add-on

I ordered the $135 beef combo for 2 and lettuce for $4. The combo came with brisket, bulgogi, boneless galbi, and your choice of kimchi or doenjang stew. The meat definitely tasted more premium than an average shop's. The doenjang stew and marinated meat were flavorful and balanced. I particularly liked how each meat was thoughtfully cooked on a different type of grill plate. Their selection of banchan was fun and enjoyable, but the standout side for me was the ssamjang. It added a nice touch of savoriness but in a more restrained way I was surprised by since ssamjang usually has a more assertive flavor. Some non-food notes: service was great and they cook the meat for you, interior is clean and inviting, parking can be annoying because the plaza's parking lot is small and congested, and the wait time was long on a Saturday evening. Overall, I highly enjoyed my meal here and look forward to coming back. Seorai might be my new favorite Korean bbq restaurant!

The brisket was fresh, thinly sliced, and cooked perfectly with a clean, savory flavor. The banchan were all fresh as well. I enjoyed the kimchi and the pickled jalapeños with onions, which added a nice balance of spice and acidity to the meal. The staff were great. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I also appreciated how powerful the exhaust system is. It pulled all the smoke efficiently from the grill, unlike other KBBQ spots where it gets stuffy and smoky. The restaurant was clean and spotless. There's plenty of parking, but fills up quick depending on the day. Definitely a solid KBBQ spot I'd come back to!

I made a reservation the day of for 6pm for a group of 3. They sat us right after we've arrived. We ordered the beef combo plus pork belly and pork collar meat. To be honest, we all thought the pork options tasted better than the beef, especially the beef briskets and bulgogi. I am not sure if it's the way they helped us cook the meat, but the briskets were dry and the bulgogi beef was a bit too sweet. We ordered 2 sides of lettuce to eat with all the meat, and it's a bit disappointing that they do not include it in the combo. We ordered the soy bean soup for our combo and the soup was a bit too salty.

Took visiting family to experience a nice KBBQ spot and Seorai did not disappoint. I've been before on busy nights so it was a nice change of pace to go on a slow Friday afternoon. The servers are more attentive and have more chance to chat a little. I loved Joy! She was so sweet and caring, asking us often if we wanted refills for our banchan. There was a slight language barrier so she was shy to speak with us initially but she was so so sweet. She even gave us pineapples! Definitely much more relaxing and chill than the typically busy nights. Food: - banchan: bean sprouts, radish, rice paper, kimchi, onions, fish cakes, and mushrooms - quality meats 5/5: beef brisket, boneless short ribs (so worth!), and pork belly - kimchi fried rice 5/5: we asked for it to be cooked on the grill so it was made last but it was nice to have the carbs after all the meats, fun experience! - soy garlic fried chicken 5/5: delicious, boneless and piping hot! - seafood pancake 4/5: it was a little softer than I like but that's because there is more seafood filling than batter - corn cheese 4/5: I like more butter but I always get it anyway because can't b kbbq without the corn cheese The pictures look nice because my cousin took them!!! Definitely enough food for all five of us... almost ordered more but thankfully didn't because we were so full. I'm still full and it's 10pm and we ate at 1pm

It has been awhile since we last finished this establishment. We were able to make reservations today and not have to come when they open to get a table!!! Our waitress remembered us and warmly greeted us. Choi is so nice, friendly and welcoming. She remembers our kids and wished us a Happy New Year and was so attentive to us. Food was awesome. They updated their banchans and the two new sides that we loved were the crab (gejang) and I literally ate all of it myself. The other new banchan that they served was like a daichon/sprout dish that went well with my perfectly marinated long rib. We also got the short ribs and the kids polished those up. We were able to utilize the touch screen to ring for help and order our food which. Was very convenient. We received a complementary corn/cheese dish and the kids polished - Choi remembered the kids loved it. Friday night - it wasn't too loud, we felt like it was more intimate and were able to enjoy our conversations. We also noticed a lot of couples coming to eat!!! Still our favorite please to dine for Korean bbq. We love this establishment and the food!!!

Had Seorai a few years back, so decided to try it again. Two of us had: beef combo $135 brisket bulgogi galbi pieces kimchi stew beer cass $11 More than 3 years since I last been. Combos have gotten a bit worse on options. Staff was friendly for the most part. Did good cooking..were a bit stingy / cut us off on the sides. Bulgogi was inedible. Parking is difficult during peak hours. Supposedly lots of theft with all the signage outside and inside...

We went to a restaurant called Sorae today after my husband highly recommended it, and it was such a great experience. The food was delicious, but what really made our visit special was our server, Joy. She was so friendly and welcoming that I honestly thought she might be the owner. She explained the menu so well and was genuinely happy to see people enjoying their popular dakgalbi, which made the whole experience feel even warmer. And the fried rice at the end tasted exactly like the kind I used to eat during my school days in Korea -- so nostalgic and comforting. We'll definitely be back. Next time, I want to try the gamjatang!

Shout out to my girlies for taking me out for some KBBQ to celebrate my birthday!! After lots of contemplating and mental anguish, I finally decided to get off my behind and agree to dinner. Here's where Seorai Korean BBQ comes into play.... Let me start off with the annoying-ness that is the parking situation. Located within the Slavich Plaza, you will find a Dollar Tree, Big Mug Coffee Roasters, a hair salon, & Matsu Matcha- just to name a few. Even with a spacious looking lot, parking doesn't come easy. Come patient, be ready to get some steps in, and be a kind driver by choosing NOT to illegally park like a lot of drivers do!! Our party of 3 arrive and are immediately seated. Viewing the menu and ordering is done through the tablets located at each table. We went with the BEEF COMBO which includes: beef brisket, beef bulgogi, marinated galbi pieces, & soybean stew. For an additional $4 we added the lettuce wrap. 8 different banchan arrives + a thinly sliced onions & chive mix. The staff then quickly returns with the different plates of meats and will start the cooking process for you. The staff will actually handle all of the cooking aspect, periodically rotating between other diners and then coming right back to you. Food: Banchan was good, just not great. Shout out to Seorai for actually having fish cakes because so many places no longer offer this side. I like the assortment of the sides but a majority of them were very bland. The galbi pieces were the best of the best when it came down to the 3 different beef dishes provided. The beef bulgogi was extra sweet but that is expected when it comes to bulgogi. Brisket was plentiful and all the meats in general were good quality. Soybean stew was delicious- so delicious I converted my girls into being fans as well. Extra points for Seorai's doenjang [thick, savory fermented soybean sauce], this stuff was absolutely annihilated. 3 stars overall for the food + banchan but 1 extra star because the young gentleman server. This young man was not only helpful and patient, he did a spectacular job at multitasking the cooking process between us and other tables.

Come to this restaurant hungry. Portions are huge. Service was excellent, but I've never been to a Korean bbq place where they cook it for you. It's a huge space, and I'd recommend making a reservation.

The menu is laid out by geographic regions, which I thought was a really neat way to showcase the many different cuisines. We started with summer rolls and calamari, both of which were excellent. The summer rolls were fresh and bright, with a delicious peanut sauce that was among the best my sister (a self-described "Peanut Sauce Snob") and I had ever had. The large pieces of calamari were expertly cooked, still very tender even after frying. There was a hint of spice in the calamari dipping sauce that I quite enjoyed. For entrees, we got Pad Thai, Pad See You, and Panang Curry -- all favorites we've had many places (despite the many alluring new-to-me options, I admit we all defaulted to known quantities) -- and we were impressed across the board. Everything was flavorful, had just the right amount of spice, and came out steaming hot. We really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of this restaurant, which felt lively and friendly. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, and it was one of those meals where everyone at the table found something they loved. One dish I was surprisingly impressed by was the Ankimo (steamed monkfish liver in ponzu). I'll admit, the word liver immediately made me hesitant, and if they hadn't told me what it was, I probably would've been less nervous trying it. But I'm really glad I did because it was incredibly buttery, smooth, and rich. It almost melts in your mouth, and I honestly think it would pair perfectly with a bowl of steamed rice. We also ordered the Hiyayakko (cold tofu with ginger & scallions), which was a really refreshing starter. The tofu was silky smooth and delicate, and the ginger, scallions, and soy-based seasoning added just enough flavor without taking away from the freshness of the tofu. It was simple, but really well done. We also ordered the Salmon Mayo Yaki Onigiri. While it was good, I think this is the one dish I'd probably skip next time. The crispy grilled rice ball itself was delicious, but there just wasn't enough salmon mayo on top. It felt like I only got a tiny spoonful, so once that was gone, it was mostly just rice. Since my family couldn't decide, we ended up ordering all three clay pots: the Sake Oyako Meshi (grilled salmon & salmon roe), Unagi Meshi (BBQ freshwater eel), and Tori Soboro Meshi (braised ground chicken). Out of all of them, the Unagi Meshi was easily my favorite. The eel was tender, slightly smoky, and coated in a sweet-savory glaze that soaked into the rice underneath, making every bite incredibly satisfying. The clay pots also gave the rice a nice crispy layer on the bottom, which added even more texture. We also shared two of their signature pizzas: the Mentai Kinoko and the Nasu Curry. I wasn't expecting much since it's pizza at a Japanese restaurant, but they were honestly so good. The crust was paper-thin, crispy, and light, so it didn't leave you feeling heavy afterward. The Mentai Kinoko had a great balance of spicy cod roe, snow crab, mushrooms, bacon, and cheese, while the Nasu Curry had a rich curry flavor that paired surprisingly well with the eggplant and cheese. Both were huge hits with my family. The restaurant itself has a warm, traditional Japanese atmosphere that makes it feel cozy and inviting. The server was incredibly friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain the menu and recommend dishes when we couldn't decide what to order. Their recommendations definitely did not disappoint. My whole family left happy, and it's one of those restaurants where I already know I'll be coming back to try even more of the menu.

The yuzu makes it more of a sour sauce than sweet. Nasu Buta Hasamiage fried eggplant in broth 4/5 this was perfectly fried and am interesting dish served in a light broth. Unagi claypot 4/5 it was delicious, but I wish they included a little more Unagi. The rice on the bottom was crispy and all the flavors were well blended. Green tea creme brulee 5/5 well balanced flavors, maybe could use a little more green tea flavor, the vanilla over powered it. But it was still very delicious. Service: 90 minutes of dining time, the menu is large so it took time to decide what to order and they don't have paper menus anymore which is a little hard to review the small font on the phone. I think they should go back to providing at least 1-2 real menus per table. It was very warm in the restaurant even though they said the AC was on. The food came out relatively fast, but there were some pauses between dishes. The claypot rice took the longest and I was almost full by the time it arrived. Ambiance: casual restaurant, authentic Japanese style where you have to remove your shoes and sit on mats. The restaurant filled up quickly by 7pm. We had a reservation for 6:15pm.

Started off with a pitcher of terra poured into cold glasses. Good selection of drinks and a variety of food. Got sausage and rice skewers. Had a spicy sauce to it and the rice skewers were a fried rice roll. Corn cheese was great and broiled perfectly for a crispy cheese crust. Supreme chicken was solid and had similar sauce as the other dish. The mala rose tteokbokki was interesting and had a creamy but a small numbing flavor to it. The seafood pancake was crispy.

They were also very gracious when our party got a little rambunctious! Love that they are open late. But I really have to be honest about the food. Hits -tofu soup -army stew -sausage & rice cake skewer -kimchi rice (small portion) -sweet potato fries -"garlic" fries - more on the sweet side, the seasoning powder is crack -the apricot soju Needs improvement -Short rib kalbi, for $25 the portion was only 6-8 pieces, also cut thin & quite dry. We ordered three of these and some of it was fine. Good flavor though! -chicken wings, just wasn't crispy -clam soup, the blandest I ever had, no seafood flavor, maybe made with frozen/precooked clams -corn cheese, very oily and tasted like old, stale oil at that Much love to this establishment, we really appreciated everything! Great vibes
