Quick, easy, and friendly checkin. There was one other person in front of our party of 3, 2 adults and 1 child. Electronic self checkin was required then the host welcomed us and put bracelets on us. This USO was pretty open with designated eating and drinking area, a huge lounge with 3 long rows of plush recliners, a board game corner, showers in the clean restrooms sticked with amenities, a dark area for video games and movies, and ample seating throughout. We got hot dogs, chips and sodas. However they also had 4 ready made sandwiches to go in the reach in: PBJ, ham/cheese, turkey/cheese, and tuna. I also really appreciated that they offered a fresh filtered water dispenser vs only water bottles. Super grateful to have this USO available in the upper mezzanine of SeaTac pre-security. read more

These old Trump people are so dam mean. It's still the "Old Guard" of men working as if this where the 1930s. I have been to a lot of USOs in my life, but never to one that was this rude. They already run the place like bootcamp. I hate to bag on them, because they do volunteer, but come on.... you don't have to be an azz to people who deserve the right, earned the right to be there and be able to relax. It has been nearly 4 years since my 1st visit to USO Northwest. I have passed through SeaTac a few times along the way, but with the giant pandemic shutdown, sadly, the USO was closed when I wanted to visit. This facility is staffed 100% by volunteers. All of the food is donated by various restaurants and vendors. I suspect the airport may have donated the spaces in 2015. Thank you to the many volunteers that make this a welcome visit. Currently open till 0400 Monday through Thursday and on Saturday, they could use a few more volunteers to stay open 24/7. I must say, to the many young military travelers that pass through SeaTac and visit this facility while on layover, this sure beats staying at a gate and trying to sleep in a chair. With real bunks and a hot shower, hot food and drinks, *all free*, I wish I had something like this when I was still in uniform. I've volunteered many times at the Denver Airport, while active duty, and still currently active duty in the Northwest. So to me, this sight is disgraceful, and a disservice to our youth. This lack of consideration for our military is also a large reason why recruitment is at a severe low. It's nearly 7am on a Sunday and many military flights are booked "red eye" to save government funds. Yet, a dozen of our Soldiers and Sailors are left stranded sleeping on the floors like they're homeless. I'm enraged to say the least and will be forwarding this as public as possible. Really, NOON on a Sunday and closed Fridays? Active duty members are flying around the country for Monday morning work and deserve better than this! I'm always surprised when an establishment such as an USO hasn't been Yelped! It's your standard USO; and by standard I mean chock full of amenities for those with the proper access, to include everything from showers, a place to chill to computer/gaming use. I liked the expansive kid's play area and the temporary storage room for luggage, as well as the 'food court.' Also the all volunteer staff is friendly and helpful. Great place to relax and unwind wine before long or short fight. They also have three Internet computers, La-Z-Boy massage chair, and food.

I have only been to this USO twice and the experience was quite pleasant. One of the only 24/7 USO in the country. The facility is huge considering it's inside an airport. The facility has a check-in luggage room and also used to house pets that are in their kennel. Dining area, recliners, movie room in the back, bathroom with showers (towels provided), and super friendly volunteers. This is a 24/7 operations as it is the military gateway to the pacific. The patriot express is a normal passenger aircraft but it is for government personnel and their dependents. The USO has all the food amenities of a regular USO i.e. sandwiches, cup-o-noddles, variety of snacks, fruits, coffee/tea, and fountain drinks. I stayed here overnight waiting for a flight and those recliner sofas are comfortable. Best USO and I've been to many! read more

This is a good place to stop and grab a quick bite, or even kick your feet up on a recliner chair. They have an area with bunk beds, but it is first come first serve. There are showers in the bathroom, and they have travel-sized toiletries if you need them. I highly reccomend this place. I know that everything in the USO is probably donated, but it would be nice if they replaced the recliner chairs. During my visit, I was able to sleep for 6 hours on a recliner chair in the theater room and freshen up before my flight. I was also able to eat and drink before my flight, and I also took something to go for my flight. read more

Now they've nearly quadrupled the size and move it to an area in the airport where it is easily accessible and just far enough away to be rid of the chaos and noise. USO is always a blessing for long travel days/long layovers. I was stuck in Seattle for about 4 hours so found it worth my time to go get a quick shower and a bite to eat. I was a tad bummed that they ran out of hotdogs but the tuna sandwich was so fresh that it made up for it. I got to take a warm shower which was very refreshing and they had clean towels and toiletries if one needed those things. The facility itself was very clean and the atmosphere was welcoming. The volunteers were all so kind and made me feel welcome and comfortable. After my food and shower I lounged around on the VERY COMFY recliners. I'm happy I set my alarms because you could easily oversleep and miss your flight. My favorite part about this USO is the hours. I've found that most have very odd/short hours. This one was extended hours which was very nice. Highly recommend a stop in if you have time. read more

Awesome experience...since every USO varies greatly I'll give a rundown: Luggage check, recliners and a bunk room should you need to sleep. Several healthy snack choices and Sbux coffee. Clean, restrooms, a small library and a bank of computers. Massage chair for a nominal fee.. It is outside TSA but it's very close to the A gates for re-entry. Food delivery service within the terminal is available and wristbands allow for quick re-entry if you need to leave/return the same day. Holy Hell. You know I remember going into a luxury boujie airport lounge before. I think it was some SkyMiles club or American Express BS. Whatever. But man I would never think they would have a contender being the damn USO. This is pretty awesome. Sure it's not luxury but it has all of your necessities. Of course you have to work for the government in order to access it. But damn! I'm not complaining! I remember being a young soldier with a 5 hour layover and walking into the USO thinking I'm in straight heaven. I had so many options I didn't know what to do! Even though that was like 4 years ago... I STILL FEEL THE SAME. This place has great amenities from showers, shaving supplies, loads of food, soda fountain and much more. What more could you ask for during a long layover or a pre-flight wait? My friend and I went here twice; we stopped in upon our initial arrival to Seattle after a long flight and again on the day we left. I have been to many USO locations across the country, but this one absolutely sets a high benchmark for service, comfort, and overall amenties! For starters, this is one of the few USO locations that is open 24 hours, which is an immensely convenient resource given the unpredictable and exhausting nature of air travel. Additionally, if you need to sleep, they have a room with bunk beds and linen, which is also something that most USO's simply don't have. Last but not least, in addition to recliner chairs, televisions, free Wi-Fi, computers with CAC readers, complementary food and beverages, and friendly staff, there are restrooms as well as showers and toiletries. Hands down, this is by far the best USO that I have ever been to, and the scope and extent of services that are afforded to military members and their dependents is not only impressive but also commendable! read more

This is the best USO I've been to in North America! They're always so nice is thoughtfully laid out and they always have a great assortment of food. You don't have to worry about your carry on because they have someone hold on to your stuff so you can walk around and grab food, use the computers, watch tv in the lounge area or go to the bathroom and shower if need be. It's like a mini on the go Airbnb in the airport for service members and their family. They also have a small area to play Xbox if your not tired. They're very friendly and it's nicely located AWAY from the crowds downstairs. It's located on the Mezzanine floor. Take the elevator upstairs and the walk around til you see it tucked away in the corner. It's a wonderful place to stop by if you have time prior or after your flight. I love the USO and make it a point to visit one anywhere I travel. So far this one is the best! read more

What a facility. Completely designed and able to help the service-member especially when taking the rotator. The USO is an incredible organization and this lounge is a crown jewel of USOs with food, Wi-Fi, relaxation areas, beds, friendly staff, and even flooring that's been recycled from an old battleship. First time here and wow, this place is fantastic! So much to each and drink. The volunteers are so friendly and helpful. Appreciate that the arrival and departure screens are inside. There are bunks that are by reservations and 4 hour limits, comfy loungers, a shower, theater room....and it's free to active duty. I appreciate the USO and all those who volunteer their time. This facility was insanely rude to us in 2013 during our first overseas PCS and recently our PCS to Hawaii they served absolutely no purpose. The first night we went by there to have a place to hold our luggage for a few hours and they were CLOSED. And then the following morning we were trying to find assistance to help with our 13 pieces of luggage and we called them to see if they could get us in touch with a skycap faster than perhaps we could since it was very early am hours and they literally told us thats not their job. Wow, after a hefty donation to this facility in 2013 only for them to be a huge disappointment...I say dont waste your time. Other USO's are amazing and will bend over backwards for our service members...however this location needs to learn how to do the same. read more

I've been to A LOT of USO's and this one is by far the worse one. & that's because the people were mean. All that I spoke with looked at me like I was dumb and also responded with an attitude. They also had many rules, like no eating on the couches... which is weird because I haven't been to a USO that was like that. They also didn't have bottled water or many snack options. It was a huge facility, lots of places to sit and sleep, so you'd think there would be good items but there wasn't. Also, the WiFi was slow and didn't allow the kids to watch YouTube Kids on their iPads. read more

Place is awesome and don't know why we haven't used it before. We had a red eye flight out of Sea-Tac taking my son on some college visits. Had no time to come home after getting him from school as we are stationed at Bangor and he goes to school in Seattle. He had a strength and conditioning class at school and we flew into philly and were heading straight to New York for the school visit. The showers there were a life saver! He said they were actually really good. We had a bunch of time to kill as well. We relaxed in comfort and had a sandwhich before heading through to our flight. Staff was all very nice. For the business traveller, there's the executive lounge; for this weary travel-worn veteran, there's the USO Northwest. I had a 30-hour travel plan with a 12-hour layover at Sea-Tac. A veteran buddy suggested I use the USO for R&R. It was the best travel decision I've ever made. The staff were polite and helpful, giving me a bunk-bed after an all-night trip. I landed at 0630hrs and was asleep by 0730hrs. Once I'd gotten up, I was able to relax in the lounge, with a cup of coffee, WIFI, TV, and sleep some more with my feet up! The icing on the cake was the warm shower and a clean towel. This was just what I needed to get me ready for the onward journey. By the time I left, I was relaxed and rested. Thank you USO, thank you! I really can't thank you enough! No air-miles can compare to this lounge! I'm a very lucky and grateful veteran. To all the staff at USO Northwest.
