As much as I've enjoyed going to Utopia over the years, the last service I had on 7/17 was my last time visiting. I was getting a pedicure and noticed that two of the workers, the one providing the service and the other sitting next to him, were laughing at me. At first I didn't think anything of it. I noticed Johny (he was painting my toes) nudged the guy next to him and pointed at my feet/toes. They both looked at each other, laughed, and continued working. They were speaking each other in their native tongue so I couldn't understand their conversation. Later on my sister had brought up what happened. I didn't realize that she had seen it too. Now I know feet/toes aren't the nicest looking things. I'm sure they've seen worse in the past. Either way I don't appreciate being laughed at, or left feeling very uncomfortable and embarrassed. I will not be returning to this location read more

I booked gel manicures and pedicures for my last two appointments and am extremely disappointed with the results. my first appointment was for my wedding and my nails began to chip within a week. the color I picked was light and the tech suggested getting 3 layers done so I thought that may have been the problem. my second appointment was last Saturday and my nails began to chip on Wednesday. I've had gel manicures at other salons and they didn't begin to chip until around three months. I called and informed them that my nail had chipped and was informed that once three days had gone by they couldn't do anything. besides the chipping the second tech was really rough and constantly checking their phone. I used to go to the location on Green Bay in Kenosha so it might just be that the Mt. Pleasant isn't is good. I've had much better luck at Laguna nails in Racine. read more

I had a very pleasant experience with Veronica! I had back surgery and was hesitant to go in as I can't get around well right now. But she was so very kind and helped me. She was very gentle and did such an amazing job on my pedicure and leg massage! It was just what I needed after having a rough surgery! Since they opened the new location in Kenosha, I've really enjoyed going there. I only have johny do my nails. He does amazing powder ombré. I show him any picture of what I want and he executes it perfectly. The owners are extremely friendly as well. The new Racine location is great as well. Naomi is very friendly and helpful. I went to cancel my appointment due to an emergency and the receptionist was extremely rude. I tried explaining I wouldn't normal do this unless I had too and she just kept referring to the cancellation policy. I understand cancellation policy's but if it is for emergent situations business should be flexible so they don't lose costumers. She then informed me that there would be a charge for 50% of the service?!? I tried to convey that me canceling was due to an emergency and she went on to tell me I'd be charged anyway. I asked if she could let me know what card was being charged and she wouldn't tell me. Never going back. Terrible costumer service. read more

This salon has gotten so ridiculous!! If it weren't for my nail tech Nora still being there I would NO LONGER GO!! My appointment was scheduled at 4:30 I arrived at 4:36 due to traffic and waited in line because there was 2 people ahead of me. When it gets to be my turn to check in the receptionist tells me that since I missed my "10 minute grace period" my appointment was cancelled & another customer (walk-in) had already taken my slot cause I was late! Mind you this receptionist had gone to the back to look for the nail tech for the client IN FRONT of me! So because YOU'RE LATE checking me in I lose my appointment!! It made no sense cause for ONE I did not miss my 10 minute grace period TWO I have never complained when I don't get taken back on time, it's rare the occasion when I get called back on time. No mater how early I get there!! & how did a walk in already take my spot if my "grace" period just ended! I understand that my techs time is important but let's not be this ridiculous and I have referred so many people but never again!! I have been giving this owner business since his family started at KC nails but now I see they no longer care about the customer. What a waste of time. Hope I can find a new salon to go to & find another place to refer my friends & family to!! I only give this 2 star is because Nora is a good nail tech not because of the business!!!!!! read more

Just okay. Not the best experience, was expecting better given the Best of awards. Decent pedicure, cool space/set-up. But the receptionist is not friendly (seems annoyed with people she doesn't know) and the staff in general is not very personable. The back bathroom near the pedicure room is pretty dirty (the wall around the light switch is completely brown) and it serves as a supply storage room which was awkward. read more

I had high hopes coming here because my friend always goes here to get her nails done and I was looking for a place to get a Brazilian wax. First off, it cost me $70 plus tip, and the website says $50 up, so when it was much more I was really caught off guard, but I guess it's my fault for assuming it'd be about $50. Secondly, the wax itself was very meh. I didn't see till I was cleaning up and getting dressed that she'd missed very significant patches of hair in very noticeable places, which was pretty upsetting. Utopia nail spa has lost me as a customer. Today I was screamed at and treated like a child and I was harrased and accused to be a liar. Yesterday was my Birthday and my mom and I went in for two pedicures. It was great! Minus the feeling of being rushed b4 you sit down the actual experiance in the pedicire room is relaxing. When leaving we waited 5 minutes while the receptionist was on the phone to pay I took out my phone and left it on the counter. When I realized it 15 minutes later I went back but they were closed. No big deal my fault! I will get it in the morning. I checked the GPS on my phone and it said it was in the store. The next morning at 9:00am July 15th (today) I drove back to the spa and walked in with a smile on my face! The MAN at the fromt desk was on his phone talking and told me to wait one moment by pointing his finger in my face and I said no problem I stood there for 2 mins and he looked at me and said yes...? I said hello my name is Brooke i was here yesterday for a pedicure and I left my phone on accident at the front here... He instantly became extremely defensive and said there is no phone here. I said its here I.... and he threw his hands up and said WOW WOW WOW ok well its NOT HERE AND THE BEST I CAN DO FOR YOU IS HAVE YoU WRITE YOUR NAME DOWN AND ILL CALL U IF I FIND IT WOW WOW WOW. I said sir its here I looked at the gps on my phone. Now people that are getting there nails done are looking at him freak out for no reason and IM extremely uncomfortable. I say to him is it ok if i look where I got my pedicure last night and he tells me NO I cant because I would disturb the people getting massages and pedicures. He then tells me to call it. I say I cant call it I dont have a phone sir. He throws his hands up and starts acting very dramatic yelling ok ok ok ... a women getting her nails done offers me her phone he says no to her and gives me the store phone I call my number its out of battery so I call my husband to track my phone and my husband tells me its in the store MEANWHILE hes looking as t me and saying things like its not here write your name and number down my husband asks me whos yelling at me and I told him its the guy behind the desk and he asked me if I was ok or if he needed to come there to help. The guy starts saying that the phone isnt here if it was here he would know. I cant look for it without a escourt to the back room by an employee I say ok he then yells at me again telling me Im going to ruin peoples pedicures and I tell him I know its a quiet room I will not say anything Ill just look and I wont disturb anyone. I go back and one person is getting there feet done at the last chair from the entrance and all lights are off I walk out and ask him if someone could help me turn on the foot light so I can just check. He tells me no that a women will escourt me with a flashlight. So she does and is very nice I tell her the gps says its here and he is very sure that its not but my phone tracker says otherwise. She said well Ill look too. She walks to the front opens up the drawer AND my phone is sitting there! I said thank you to her and he said nothing to me no apology at all. I decided to leave because I didnt want to cause anymore of a scene then this man already had. I know getting your nails done is a big deal and you want it to be relaxing not listen to people argue. So I left and didnt get his name or anything but it was so outrageous that he was so rude and disrespectful but if he just opened up the front desk drawer would have seen my phone plain as day.... he was so belittling to me and rude that I cant go back. read more

Never have a bad experience going to utopia learned to not use the massage chair when getting a pedicure due to it for some reason hurting my back, but their nail techs are amazing. Long did dip powder ombré and it turned out absolutely phenomenal, gone here 6 times and not a single time was I disappointed read more

The ambiance is amazing! The pedicure was pricey and average but you pay for the experience!

The staff was great! The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The pedicure was perfect and the price's were very reasonable.
