I came in for a simple gel polish, not a full manicure, so I wasn't expecting much. But even still, the guy who did my nails had his headphones in the whole time and was getting frustrated with me when I wanted to leave my nails under the light for the full 30 seconds. Great place to get your nails done. The place is very clean and the employees use disposable nail tools. One of the main reasons I like this salon is you usually get sat down for both mani and pedi at the same time, as opposed to other places that tell you they will do both hands and feet simultaneously but end up doing it separately and you're there for three hours. The only reason I gave them a four star is because sometimes I've gone and my nails have been done by someone completely new that had no idea what they were doing and my nails came out really bad. But when I tell the manager they end up fixing it for me... but that means I have to stay there an additional hour which is frustrating. Other than that, it's recommended. read more

Love this spot! The first time I stopped by was about 3 months ago when my sister, who is extremely picky with her nails has had an amazing experience here. I, on the other hand, am not too picky, I just love a nice gel color. Fortunately, this place has tons of gel colors to choose from, which makes it kind of difficult to settle on one color for the next 2 weeks. Nevertheless, I have done my nails here by various people, and all of them have been amazing, they all listen carefully to exactly how I want to shape my nails, and do a great job on them. I always walk in without an appointment and get seated in 10 minutes or less. Unlike any other nail salon, the owners actually care about their customers and make them feel as comfortable as possible, which is why I always return to this amazing spot every 2-3 weeks for my gel manicure. I take my nail game pretty serious so at first I was a little worried when the guy trying to do my stiletto nail was looking a bit perplexed. At first he made my thumb too short and asked if I was ok with it being too short. Um no! He had to redo it. Half way through a girl came to finish me. She did a much better job shaping my nail. After waiting :15 past our appointment time they were finally able to accommodate us...husband on one end of salon me on the other. After sitting in the chair and placing my feet in way too hot water for nearly :10 before anybody came to do anything. I am a loyal customer, I always come here. Whoever asks who does my toes, I always refer them to V Nails. A lot of my friends and family come here but the way I got treated here yesterday was not right. I called at 12 to make an appointment with KIM and the man said 4:00 she can do my pedicure. I live 30 minutes away. I drove 30 minutes to come here and I got there at 4:02. When I got there the man said she's working with someone and that it will take 10 minutes. I waited and gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited for 20 minutes. It became 4:25 and I asked them what's happening, and he said give her another 10-15 minutes and I told them I have work soon like that's 30 minutes already wasted. He told me another person is available and will do it for me but when someone makes an appointment with a SPECIFIC person and they give the appointment that means I WANTED that person. I don't want anyone else to do my pedicure. There's a reason why I drove 30 minutes to come there or else I could've done it here in my area. This place is horrible, aside from some of the workers being nice, the main guy is rude as fuck. 1. He didn't let me do what IIIIII wanted to do with MYYYY nails. He listened to his own opinion instead. I told him it was too long and to make it shorter and he said "no no it's better like this" like?? 2. ALSO, he gave me two deep cuts on 2 fingers while filing... imagine how hard he was filing my skin enough to cause 2 deep cuts. He didn't even notice until I squealed from pain and told/showed him the cuts. 3. I wanted to look at the color wheel to see my color options and he just brought back a pink color and said "this one would look good" and just continued to paint them when I didn't even want that color... at this point I was just too annoyed and mad to even care what color he did. I just wanted to get the hell out of there. 4. They charged me $30.......... which, in my opinion , is overpriced. Best believe I walked out of there without giving the guy a tip. He's lucky I even paid him for the nails I didn't want lol. 10/10 DONT recommend. You're better off going to a different place who will care about your nail needs, leaving without any cuts and loving your nails. DONT COME HERE. I have tried to give this place a chance but after my 3rd time here, I cannot say anything other than this nail salon is APPALLING. Perhaps if you just want a very basic mani/pedi it's okay, but for gels/acrylics, steer clear. The first time I came here, my acrylics were a little crooked and the lady drew blood on 2 fingers. It was a decent job and fast and for a low grade nail salon, I figured this experience was a B. 2nd time here, I needed acrylics fully removed & gels put on and was BEYOND horrified when their method of removing my acrylics was to take a fake nail tip, full force wedge it under the acrylic like she was trying to separate cemented bricks and try to pry it off with sheer brute force, without soaking OR electric filing. Not only is this obviously incredibly painful, it is TERRIBLE for your nails. If I wanted to just caveman rip my acrylics off, I'd do it my god damn self, I wouldn't go PAY for someone to do it. I go to a salon so they can soak/file/soak/file to get the nail off with the least discomfort and damage. After almost starting to yell that it was painful and to PLEASE STOP AND SOAK AND FILE several times, she finally stopped. I would like to reiterate that when I first asked for her to stop and file/soak, she still was insisting to do this. Appalling that they would even attempt this, horrifically appalling that she continued upon my insistence that she stop. 3rd & FINAL time: EVEN after that, I thought I would give them one more chance on just an acrylic fill since I wouldn't have to face their barbaric removal methods. This experience was the nail (no pun intended) in the coffin. As she was filing/soaking, the acrylic was coming off so we decided to do a full set. I was perfectly fine with this. This time to get off the remaining acrylic she took out cuticle clippers & started carelessly ripping it off like she was trying to extract shards of mineral from a rock. This was painful but I was willing to move past that. As she put on the tips, she was getting super glue all over the underside of the nail, which was burning my finger. Because of this, she used her claws and DUG as hard as she could into the side of my nail bed to essentially separate the glued nail from the skin. This hurt like a bitch and would have been fully unnecessary had she glued them properly. The most ming bogglingly ASTOUNDING part however was that she drew BLOOD ON EVERY. SINGLE. FINGER. as she electric-filed. There were nicks on every single f**king finger & little blood drops beside every nail. Not only did she not skip a beat or apologize, but continued to file JUST AS HAPHAZARDLY, continuing to nick the next finger and the next. If you nick & draw blood on a finger, don't you slow your a$$ down & be more careful??? This situation was made even more APPALLING by the fact that she was still manhandling my fingers, squeezing & twisting them in a way I have never experienced, all the while rubbing acrylic dust into every cut, hitting them again ruthlessly when she was buffing. To make matters EVEN WORSE, it is standard for nail workers to use acetone on a brush to fix their polish mistakes, but allow me to remind you I have open cuts on every finger, which were now being doused in the sheer horrific burn of acetone so I could feel the firey wrath of Satan's d!ck on every finger, as I reminded myself I was paying for this torture. The polish job was fine, though made less attractive by the terrible thick & uneven acrylic. The last glorious straw to this pain hell was having the same cuts doused in that extremely fine chrome powder for the metallic nails, then spritzed with rubbing alcohol & rubbed like a rusty knife trying to be made clean, assuring that these nifty bloody souvenirs would be burning for hours after, unable to heal properly with acrylic dust & super fine glitter stuck in them. It has been about 6 hours since my manicure and my fingers are still stinging. I honestly have no idea how in the bloody name of Christ himself that this place stays in business with their nail practices. It is so beyond appalling. I am aware that you get what you pay for and that a low brow $45 full set is not going to be the same quality as the $180 manicure I can get as esNail, but this place is UNACCEPTABLE. TL;DR: terrible nail practices, don't go here. BEWARE. read more

So since QQ is no longer working there I decided to update my review.. I no longer do manicure there cause I've been to 3 different people there and I wasn't happy with any of them. I do still go there for my gel pedicure and ask for Leann ONLY!!! She's AMAZINGGGGGG!!! I don't have to worry about how she's gna do It or be scared that she might cut me.. from the main picture with the girls, the third girl from the left side is also AMAZING except I haven't seen her recently maybe she is no longer there.. the reason for my three starts is the poor customer service. Why do I, a loyal customer of 3-4 years have to wait way over 30 min? They double/triple book people at the same time.. if I have an appointment at 5, the latest I want them to start is 5:10.. I don't understand how anyone can go to this place more than once, to be completely honest I don't even understand how this place is open. I had a 4:00 appointment, I walked in at 3:55....they had me waiting till 4:25 while my technician laughed, and took photos of someone else's nails. Zero urgency what so ever. Sure, no problem....things happen. My nails had no polish or gel. All I needed was minor cleaning and some polish. My lady was so rough with my nails she made me bleed, ripping my skin at multiple spots. Sure, no problem...things happen. Two days later, my nails and fingertips are in pain...washing the dishes with warn water is painful because my lady pretty much filed my skin off as she was trying to buff my nails to an unimaginable thinness. I guess when I said I don't want gel she made it her mission to make sure I NEED gel. A simple pen touching my nail this morning made me bleed all over again. How disappointing!!! As a customer who has been coming here for over a year now I have never been so angry at the lack of customer service and poor skills that I received today from my technician and bran new receptionist. Like any normal person I regularly break and or chip and nail here and there and I am always happy to head here to get my quick little nail fix for three dollars as stated in their list of prices. I was greeted (nodded at) by a new gentleman receptionist who barely spoke a word to me nodded and paid no attention to my needs. As a regular customer, I took this in stride and didn't worry too much until the lack of skill I received in fixing my nail. She super glued my break, dabbed it with once application of acrylic, and did not file it evenly to match my hand. I was so frustrated with her service I didn't even ask for her to fix it better. Unfortunately to top it all off they attempted to charge me five dollars for my 1 "" acrylic nail "" when all I received was super glue and gel to fix my real nail yet they claimed they put acrylic on. Five dollars for one nail is not only wrong, it's miss leading & not priced correctly and which translates to stealing. I also did NOT appreciate the gossip and giggles that then followed to the other customers getting pedicures. I will never be coming back here. It's sad what changes and the great techs that left. Let me start by saying... I've been a customer for a while and it's sad to say that I stopped by on feb. 10th, 2020 for a manicure and pedicure and I got the most horrible service ever.I walked in at v nails about 4:35pm on a not so busy afternoon... about 3 women prior to me arriving where already being taken care of and the man in the front desk seated me with my feet soaking in water for about 30 min while the nail tech ladies where bicken back, laughing and just hanging around in the back. Five minutes later this young woman wearing red blouse approached me to start my pedicure... as she was starting she was very talkative and was laughing a lot with the other workers. She proceeded to ask me what I wanted so I did and the woman responded to me with " i understand I got you honey"... 25 min into her doing a sloppy job on my feet she gets frustrated because I did not like the job she had done on my feet. The lady doing my hands kept translating for me but the woman on my feet just did not understand what I wanted, I wish I would have taken a pic of how she left my toes in the beginning. Long story short the lady gets mad and her tone of speaking drastically changes while she speaks to the other nail techs. Another woman comes and fixed my toes for me but makes my toes bleed from all the filing.... Now, let's talk about the woman doing my hands... she's gotten very sloppy with doing acrylics and gel and it's very sad. 4 days after getting nails done my pinky nail breaks at work -___-? Like why?!!!! Every time I've came and done my nails here they've lasted more than the two weeks that y'all say to come back and refill! On Monday morning around 9:00am I showed up to get my nail fixed. Sat for about 15 min. The man in the front desk helped 2 other women who came after me before starting on me. Then seats me and takes literally 35 min to finish one nail. The lack of customer service sucks. I did not appreciate how disrespectful and unprofessional your staff was/ still is. I left the salon at 6:14. Them women where chattering all afternoon and making me feel uncomfortable by the way they looked at me and chatted amongst another while working on my hand/feet. It's unfortunate cause I've never had this experience till Feb. And it's more unfortunate because today another nail broke at work and I have not had these set of nails for more than two weeks. i have been to so many nail salons and I have finally found the one. these ladies in my care dee dee and Joey made me giggle and I felt like part of this new family. they suggested treatments for my hands and feet even though extra cost let me know that immediately, and took such good care of me. they did not rush and took their loving time. it was the first time I ever felt loved doing self care. they cared to adjust my massager in the chair, they cared to give me water and a cookie, they even made sure to put my sandals back on and help me out of the chair. they were so busy, but they did not fail at anything. 20 dollars extra... 10 for the bumps on the bottom of your feet and another 10 for the warm wax massage the most worth it extra money I have ever spent. it's going to be my new monthly ritual. my trust in this salon, I hope they start doing threading services too because trust I will go to them for that too. all the ladies, and the gentleman who works there deserve every ounce of respect for not living in any ego, and being so thorough in their services.
