Luigi gave us the bad news of Mr. Vahes passing away. Luigi explained that Vahe had sold the business to him with the agreement that Vahe would help transition with ongoing repairs and customer deals that only Vahe knew about, as he did not document many agreemnets with customers. When Vahe unexpectedly passed away so did most the knowledge of the repair estimates and side deals made with his loyal customers. You can only imagine the diffucult position this put Mr Luigi in. Simple things like the keys to what car were not documented. With Vahi and the information gone things backed up. Luigi explained to me he did his utmost to repair and remidy every customers need. The stress of his friend dying , buying a business and customers that had no empathy and understanding for the difficulty of the situation absolutly thrashed the new owner Luigi. Things are better now. Look around the shop, its been cleaned , painted and organized. A small, comfortable office has been added. The restroom is clean and available for a customer if needed. Thank you Luigi! I found Mr. Luigi pricing to be lower or very competitive on labor and parts than the nearby repair shops. And the work he performed on my families 2016 X1 was accurately diagnosed and quickly turned over to us. No issues after over a month! Hes doing good things during a personal and professional crises. I received a warning on my car as I was driving down the freeway. Battery unable to recharge pull over to the side of the road. I yelped for this location and got my car there just in time. The mechanic Anthony immediately inspected my vehicle and we found that the serpentine belt had come off and completely shredded into pieces. This is the belt that attaches to the engine and the alternator. This created a number of problems and fixing the belt/replacing the belt would not solve the issue. Luis who manages the shop got on top of the job right away and was courteous enough to give me a ride to work. The cost for labor to fix BMWs is expensive but the value they delivered made it worth it. He kept me informed and exceeded my expectations delivering the vehicle, all fixed up in 24 hours. I will definitely be bringing my car back here and I'm grateful for the professionalism and service I received. Keep it up. read more

Recently he was able to diagnose some bushings there's a worn out prematurely as a result of age versus mileage. I trusted him to do the job in as soon as it was done I noticed a dramatic improvement in the drive. Are usually sell BMWs after the warranty. Vahe's BMW Autobody shop was recommended by one of my friends husband who used to get his maintenance on his BMW. My car warranty expired and I needed to get my brakes done front and back. I'll start by saying that everything was great when Vahe owned and operated the business. We have been going there since 1999. Vahe was the most honest and skillful mechanic. HOWEVER since his untimely passing, the new owner apparently has his own way of doing business. We left our car to have a headlight replaced and to be checked if anything else is needed (it's our spare car so we don't drive it much). Almost 2K later for repairs I now doubt it needed, we are back to square one: still needing the headlight replaced. Luigi told us he was going to order the part and will call us when ready to install. A week later, no call. I kept calling, leaving messages, talking with him, with his wife, back and forth, for more than a month promising to follow up and let me know what is happening. A big nothing. No one ever called back. It's been 100% different experience with this new ownership. I guess they are after making a quick buck and don't care if anyone is coming back. Not a good business model. I will NEVER return to this shop again and will make sure to warn all the friends and family I've referred there through the years. Find another shop! read more

Vahe is honest and fast! I talked to him a few days before I met him and he told me how to go about taking care of buying a new battery for my 550i. I went to Pepboys and got the right CCA. I took it to him and in less than 30 mins he had installed it and programmed it for a really good price on a Saturday when he only works half day and the shop was busy! He has the experience and knows what he's talking about, call him and give him a try. You will not be disappointed. read more

Luigi is a disgrace to Vahe's good name on the shop's sign. My husband called Luigi on Tuesday (11/16/2023) morning to confirm Luigi would be available to receive our BMW for service that day. He said yes. We arrived at 3:30 pm, and he was already closed (locked gate and garage). We entered from his next-door neighbor's gate and parked our car in Luigi's lot because it would not start again if we shut off the engine. My husband dropped off the keys to Luigi the next day, and Luigi said he would check the car and call us later that day. That afternoon, he called to say his employee was using his car battery jump starter at his other shop, and that he would call me later that day. Luigi did not call me until 10:33 the next morning. He said the problem was that our battery (still under warranty from AAA) was not compatible with BMWs and that we needed a BMW battery, which he happened to have at his shop. He pressured me to decide right away because he planned to be out of town and closed tomorrow (Friday) through Monday. We knew the battery was NOT the problem with our car, and we do not want to work with a shop that often arbitrarily closes its doors during its operating hours. I had AAA meet us at the shop, and AAA confirmed our battery was fine and passed their tests. We declined to purchase a new battery from Luigi, and he wanted us to pay him $145 for diagnostic services (actually, misdiagnosis). I asked for a reduction because he did not inform us in advance that he would be charging us for diagnostic services, and he did not actually perform any repairs. He then tried to justify the fee because we parked our car in his lot for 2 days! His lot was empty anyway because he'd been unable to keep Vahe's huge number of loyal customers. We were deprived of the use of our car for 2 days because he closed early after telling us he would be there on Tuesday, and he did not work on our car all day Wednesday! Luigi would not budge on the price, and we begrudgingly paid him $145 for wasting our time. We will NEVER go back to that shop, and we are sad that Vahe's good name is on Luigi's shop's sign. I am also suspicious of the story Luigi tells about his business arrangement with Vahe because of how agitated and defensive Luigi got when I casually asked if he knew what Vahe's assistant Rigo was doing. Vahe told me Rigo worked for him for decades "since Rigo was a teenager" and that Rigo was going to take over Vahe's shop when Vahe retired. If anyone knows where Rigo is working, please share! I would love to bring my car to Rigo. read more

RIP Vahe was the best and the most honest but the New owner is very unprofessional and kept calling me for one week straight everyday asking which car is my car and what's wrong with it and the next day the same thing as if he forgot he talked to me a day before, after almost 2 weeks of my car being there it went from a simple basic repair to a $2500 repair that my car didn't even need.
