Will Randolph was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him as a sales consultant.

The last two times I went to buy a car back to back, they only started being friendly once I told them I found a car I was interested in. The first car I bought, they actually damaged the seat after I already showed interest and they took it to the back for the mechanics to check it. Instead of fixing it, they ended up breaking it even more. I was told they would need to replace the whole seat, and in the end it was never fixed at all. I also asked if certain things could be done to the car like new tires and brake pads after signing, and the sales rep told me that since I already signed the documents, it couldn't be done but if I hadn't signed yet, it could've been done. The second time I bought a car a month later, I asked for those same things to be done before signing, and I was told again that they couldn't do it. Same sales rep, same situation. Just really frustrating and inconsistent experience overall.

After booking two test drives for different vehicles we were interested in, we went to their Harford location and waited about 30 minutes for a sales rep to come free and help us out. While the two cars we drove were exactly as advertised, we didn't feel they were exactly what we were looking for. Our sales rep, Rohit, then remembered there was a Toyota Venza on the lot that he felt was in amazing condition and was exactly what we were looking for. We hadn't even known about the model, so after a test drive, we inspected the car in and out thoroughly and made the purchase. If the computers at the credit bureau hadn't decided that hour to go offline for four hours, we would have been able to drive away that day. As we waited longer for the computers to come online and help us get approval, one of the managers suggested we do a 24-hour test drive, keep the car with us overnight, and drive in the next day to finish the purchase... which went perfectly. Everyone there was on their game and Rohit was so accommodating and helpful during that time. They even got us dinner while we were waiting for the credit bureau to get their network back online. Huge recommendation and would definitely go back again if we had another purchase.

A massive thank you to the exceptional team at Bertera Subaru of Hartford for delivering first-rate…read morecustomer service throughout our entire car-buying journey. After a recent stressful car accident, we walked in needing guidance, and they were incredibly empathetic, patient, and ready to listen. They took the time to truly understand our situation and knew exactly how to help us move forward. When we had technical questions about the boxer engine layout, symmetrical all-wheel drive, the durable StarTex upholstery, or the phone charging system, they provided thorough, expert answers. What we appreciated most was their commitment to safety and education. They made absolutely sure we didn't drive our new 2026 Forester Sport off the lot until they had given us a complete, hands-on tutorial on how to navigate the touchscreen features, steering wheel controls, and mirror adjustments. If you are looking for top-tier safety, excellent Consumer Reports ratings, and pure driving comfort, Subaru is the ultimate choice. For the absolute best in managerial flexibility, staff expertise, fair pricing, and genuine customer care, it will always be Bertera in Hartford for us.

Horrible Dealership- Avoid at all cost…read more I purchased my Subaru from Bertera and have had the vast majority of service performed there over the years. Unfortunately, when a serious issue arose, the dealership completely failed to stand behind the customer relationship. My Subaru's STARLINK radio unit failed, a well-documented issue that was the subject of a class action lawsuit and warranty extension. The radio had already been replaced once under warranty with the same unit. When it failed again, Bertera quoted $2,200 to replace it with the exact same component again. During the process I was told Subaru of America had never been involved with my vehicle, which turned out to be incorrect. Subaru's own records later showed three goodwill repairs totaling $1,752.73 connected to my vehicle. Instead of addressing the misinformation or helping resolve the situation, the dealership simply passed responsibility elsewhere and ultimately refused any assistance. I ended up repairing the radio myself through an independent electronics specialist for about one-third of the price. After years of loyalty as a customer, the takeaway was clear: once a problem falls outside their narrow policies, Bertera Subaru has no interest in helping. Very disappointing experience.

Car proceeds to constantly need work as the burning oil screws up ignition coils and spark plugs every 18 months. Gets to the pt where a quart of oil needs to be added per week whenever I get gas basically . I remain cautious with frequent oil changes. Then car engines (cyclinders 3 and 4 seize) results in needing a new engine at 118k miles this week. Kia won't cover as I used Midas, Mobil one and similar oil places. I had a very disappointing experience with the service department at this Kia dealership…read more First, the pricing was unreasonable. I was charged $140 just for an oil change, which is nearly double what other Kia dealerships charge for the same service. My appointment was scheduled for both an oil change and a headlight issue, but the headlight problem was never fixed. What concerns me even more is that the multi-point inspection report says all bulbs and lights were checked and OK, even though my headlight still does not work. This makes the inspection report seem unreliable and raises questions about whether the vehicle was actually inspected. The customer service was also very disappointing. After waiting two hours, the woman at the service desk told me, "If you want, you can take your car back without any service." I had a scheduled appointment and had already waited a long time, so hearing that instead of receiving help was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Overall, the experience felt overpriced, disorganized, and dismissive toward customers.
