Visited Palma Kitchen + Tap for brunch with a group of seven ladies the Saturday before Mother's Day. Palma is situated inside the beautiful Encanterra Golf Course. The restaurant is spacious and also beautiful. We had a reservation and our party was already seated when I arrived 10 minutes late. Lunch was fairly busy that day with a handful of tables still open. Service was friendly, but very, very slow that day. It took well over 30 minutes to get our cocktails. And another while for our food. For drinks, I opted for an espresso martini, which tasted great to me. For my entree, I chose the grilled mahi mahi wrap with fries. Our food was fresh and the portions were big, which I appreciate, but I felt that my wrap needed a little more flavor. Fries were cooked well. After I finished my espresso martini, I shared a bottle of prosecco with two other ladies, which our server served in a champagne bucket. Came here for my hubby's birthday and had such a special experience! They had a menu printed out with my husband's name on it, a specially decorated table, and a free birthday dessert all decked out. Short rib pot roast was AMAZING- melt in your mouth. Hubby had the shrimp carbonara and really enjoyed it. For drinks I tried their Palma G+T which uses a mediterranean tonic. It's a nice (and pretty) change from the normal gin and tonic. Desserts were Coconut cream pie (SUPER YUMMY) and a Cherry Cobbler. I will also note that their fresh made whipped cream that was on the desserts and as a garnishment was heavenly- I could have had a whole plate of just that. Finished the night off with a little nip of Amaretto we were gifted. Our server and other staff came by regularly to check on us, chat, and wish hubby a Happy Birthday. We came away with full bellies and felt so cared for. This was an experience we want to come back and repeat in the future and the best dining experience we've had in Queen Creek. Caveat: this is my club restaurant. So if you are reading this, you either have access as an Encanterra member or you are visiting and probably related to a member. That being said, and as much as locals might complain, this is a great place to eat. The food is quite good (yes, I chat with the executive chef, so am admittedly biased). I've tried most everything on the menu and I'd give it, on average 4/5. Some items are definitely 5/5, but it's a personal taste thing. Pizzas and salsa are great, imho. Pasta is great. Specials are worth a try... that's my to go. Honestly, I wished they'd think about sound proofing the restaurant. But if you can get a table outside during the nicer months, do it. And for God sake, please tip. The servers work hard and I don't think the retirees know they live from the tips. I typically end my reviews with whether or not I'd return. Absolutely. Super disappointed at our last meal at Palma. We have eaten here probably more than any other restaurant. The swordfish is normally excellent but this time not so much, very dry. Service was excellent though and the ambience is amazing. read more

We have a group from the neighborhood that dine out together once a month. We chose Palma kitchen for our lunch and dinner group. Lunch went well no issues and was a quite nice relaxed afternoon. We booked dinner at the same time a week out for 19 people. Reservation was confirmed on Monday for Tuesday night at 6pm Tuesday around 11am I get a call from Shawn the mgr saying they have to cancel the reservation. What??? He said it should have been booked in the banquet room we couldn't order off the main menu and would only have a few options. Also no separate checks . Day of... ‍ if this was a problem and these were the rules why didn't they tell us a week ago when booked.?? This is not how you do business! 19 disappointed people that made plans that night. Poor management they should have honered the reservation. I read they are closing it out to the public if not a member on 1/1/26 ..However, you should have honored our reservation and not cancelled day of ~totally unacceptable! read more

Restaurant is located inside Encaterra Country Club but open to public. Beautiful space as you would expect at a Country Club. Pretty bougie crowd, not a lot of diversity down here!!!! Note picture of dress code card you are handed when you drive through club gate. My lunch partner was asked at door to put on a provided button up shirt, presumably because it didn't meet the dress code. There were many ladies coming in off the golf course with sleeveless shirts on exactly like my lunch partner, so I think it was her Harley tattoos that offended, not her shirt. Beware. Food was really good!!! I had the Cobb Salad with an added piece of salmon that was grilled perfectly. Traditional Cobb with all the fixings. They were out of their French Dip sandwich, ran out of iced tea half way through our meal, and forgot our coffee with this wonderful little flourless chocolate tart. First two issues are mgmt's problem, so won't ding or server. Other than forgetting our coffee's, rest of service was very well done. Loved the food, just wish the dress code thingy wasn't so arbitrary, but they were nice about it ... and it is a semi-private club so they get to do what they want. $30-50 per person with appetizers, entree, and dessert. My Fiancee and I came here for her best friend's Daughter's Graduation lunch from ASU. It was our first time here and we didn't know what to expect. The food and customer service was on point. From the moment we drove up to the gate, the gentleman at the gate was personable and funny. We had a great quick chat with him. The drive to the kitchen from there was beautiful. The restaurant was very nice, food was on point, and the waitress was wonderful. The price for two of us, two drinks, shared a salad, and two entrees came out to about $60.00. Not bad at all. As of January 1, 2026, it's now exclusive to Encanterra residents and members only. I understand the desire for privacy and exclusivity, but it's a loss for loyal public patrons. Years of visits, staff relationships, and family memories are gone, such a shame. Suggestion: Open to the public on select nights to retain some community support. Back again! Came here for a date night. I wanted to sit at the bar and have some drinks and talk with people and the bartenders before our reservation. But new policy, only members can sit at the bar. A little disappointed but went outside and sat. Ordered meatballs for an app. They were delish. There was a poke bowl special I ordered that was the best thing I've eaten in my entire life. Husband ordered the short rib pot roast. And of course none other than the butter cake for dessert. This place was okay. My parents booked a reservation for 4 for my father's birthday. He's a big fan of this place but it was my first time. I looked at the menu online and didn't see the vegan options, mostly vegetarian. My mother said she called and they confirmed they have vegan options though? The meatless options all seemed to have cheese. They had a burger with an option for an importable patty but it also had cheese, bacon and non vegan bread. I guess I'm not certain what they are saying is vegan? I ended up ordering a kale and quinoa salad, no feta. It was mostly kale, 5 ish cherry tomatoes, a few sliced peppers, and maybe a spoonful of quinoa. It was drenched in the dressing that I asked for on the side. It tasted fine but nothing to write home about. I had ordered sweet potatoes fries that were forgotten and they came out when we were almost done, and were a bit cold. We were seated at 530 and our food came out at 7. It was just way too long. I think because this place is in a retirement community they must have thought we wanted slow service. It was just okay. New to the area so checked out the club to see what they had. There was no wait because we had a very late lunch at 3 but it worked out perfectly that it was happy hour. We got a well mojito and mules which were supposed to be $5.50 at happy hour but we were charged full price. The Cesar salad was drenched in dressing, so be sure to ask for the dressing on the side. The croutons were very salty so you may need to pick a few out. The margherita had a great thin crust and was alright, but could've used more mozzarella. Our server checked in with us every so often but our finished plates and cups were stacking up throughout our meal. However, the drive into the area is quite beautiful and was probably the part of our visit. read more

I would have rated this at 4.5 stars IF they did NOT close the restaurant to the public, but no! We had made Palma Kitchen & Tap our regular go-to restaurant since moving to Queen Creek in 2024. The food is good, the service is usually excellent, and the prices are quite fair for a CC environment. But the MAIN reason we like going there is because of the view on the patio of the gorgeous golf course. When we went in the summer time we sat inside, which was also upscale and quite nice. HOWEVER, as several other customers have mentioned, the Encanterra CC membership voted to close this restaurant from non-members, other than offering an occasional buffett brunch for a rediculous amount of money, ONLY on special holidays such as Mother's day and Easter Sunday. I was extremely disappointed when I learned about this from our waiters in advance of this closing to the public. We have brought our family and friends here frequently, and everyone loves it. This decision will surely hurt their restaurant's business, especially once the snow birds leave for the summer. Perhaps by then they will have a change of heart, but the restaurant should be able to survive as they also provide a venue for large events, and you can host an event without being a member, you just cannot get into the restaurant. In any event, we are extremely sad about this decision they made to stick their noses in the air. They easily could have made a rule that outsiders can reserve last minute tables when available, as this is obviously due to the members not wanting to have to wait for a table, especially when they allow outsiders to make reservations well in advance. I understand their perspective, but they may end up loosing their consessioneer (the restaurant management company) over DEAD business during the summer. I only hope they will re-open soon to the public. BTW, this restaurant is part of a group which also has many other restaurants serving CC's, and they have another one in Chandler, also on a Golf course, but not nearly as nice in my opinion. What a hidden gem in Queen Creek! We came here for a last-minute dinner on a Sunday night and were seated outside in the back without a reservation. It was absolutely gorgeous and we felt like a million bucks. Also, there was a wedding going on and that was fun to watch. My husband and I got the potstickers app, the pot roast, the millionaire burger, and the baked brie dessert. The pot roast was a must-order if you go here. It was so tender and melted with the fork. We took our first bites and looked at each other in surprise at how good it was. The dessert was something pretty unique and guilt-free as well. Burger and potstickers were pretty standard. I do wish the appetizer had more pieces for the price that you're paying. Our waitress was great, but there were moments when she took so long to come back to us, like to bring us the bill or take our card. Otherwise, it was all-around a fantastic experience and I would return with visitors from out of town! read more

We visit Palma again today as we are signing papers on our new home. Caiden was our server. He was friendly, polite and attentive. He also got us a little sample of the chicken fajita soup of the day which was very delicious and fun to try. We went with the lunch combos. We both enjoy the Caesar salad and I love the sliders while Don went with the prime rib sandwich. Very delicious! We love the ice tea! It's amazing how often a restaurant can't make a nice glass of ice tea. It's always delicious and refreshing here. read more

It was our 4 year anniversary and they made us feel super special. Hubby had peach mule and I had a $10 red blend glass, can't remember the name. Well they just closed to the public. I guess the very rich people did not like sitting amongst the minions. Its funny because we spent alot of money there and met some wonderful people and staff and they all said the same thing which was, we are so glad they allow the public here because seeing all the same people everyday got old fast. Easter Brunch, Food quality was poor, food was cold, kids pancakes could have been made yesterday, the chicken and fish entrees could have been also been cooked yesterday, no bar service, staff had to go to the main bar to get everything. Ambience outside was terrific. WIsh we had skipped the brunch and ordered breakfast off the menu in the main resteraunt. Haven't eaten here in a year, wife and I decided to try them for a Sunday brunch. Made reservations, and were promptly seated. Noon, and they were not at all crowded. Our table had scratches in the top, I thought they redecorated? Wife's fork had a bent tine. I had to ask for cream, sugar and a spoon for my coffee. Server was pleasant, but kind of clueless with her job. Training and experience please! We both tried the BYO omelette station. Helped ourselves to potatoes, pastries and cut fruit while the cook prepared our omelettes. Omelettes were fine. Fruit was very good! Mini croissant I had was not fresh. Wife said her mini danish was average. Potatoes were not good. Wife decribed them as rocks from the Flintstones. They were just chunks of overcooked potatoes. Ambience was ok. Price, average. Great find! We decided to celebrate Mother's Day a day early since I had to work. We had dinner reservations for 8pm, mainly because we called the day of, rather than planning ahead of time. We arrived right before 8pm and didn't think it would've been a wait but we ended up waiting for about 20min before being seated. We did see a couple walk up and kind of just walk in. We assume they were members or regulars? Either way, we get it. Take care of your regulars because they keep coming back. Next, we ended up sitting outside which was a plus (besides the frog we seen hopping around). Lol! It was a beautiful night! We ordered everything from appetizers, to a salad and dessert. We ordered the garlic cheese bread to go with our salad. Waiter did tell us he could split, which ended up being $3. Not a big deal but should be said while offering to do so. I got the short ribs, my husband ordered the prime rib. One daughter got the fried rice while the other got the Rueben and sweet potato fries. We did end up ordering a skillet cookie that came with ice cream to top it all off. We were stuffed! Everything was great besides the few hiccups. My husband was quite annoyed and is still talking about it days later that our waiter intentionally dropped food on him and then poured water on him. I'm chalking it up to inexperienced since he looked a little young.
