I purchased a diamond ring here expecting a GIA-certified diamond, which I specifically asked for during the sale. Instead, I was sold a diamond certified by EGL, which was only shown to us after the purchase. I returned the next day to request a refund and explained the issue. The store declined, citing a final sale policy, even though the diamond was not what I believed I was purchasing. An exchange was offered, but it was lower in quality and value. I made it clear that I wanted to return the item, but after that, they stopped responding. I've tried to resolve this fairly but have not received a solution that reflects what was originally promised. I'm sharing this to help others make informed decisions, especially when shopping for something as meaningful as an anniversary gift. EDIT: After my review, they tried to reach out and offer another diamond, but it was still significantly lower in value and quality. The receipt only lists the diamond certification as "INT" and never disclosed it was EGL until after the purchase. I also have to ask, what is the point of showing me a non-GIA diamond if I specifically asked for a GIA-certified one? Before coming across Valliani Jewelers, we stopped by three other jewelry stores in the Ontario Mills mall looking for an engagement ring - all of which had good/decent selections. We had a solid idea of what we wanted our ring to look like, but no jewelry stores had a ring that was able to check all the boxes (at least not without a significantly higher price tag to customize the ring to what we ultimately wanted) With Valliani being our fourth jewelry store visit in the day , we were already exhausted from dealing with several insistent salespeople at the other stores. At this point, we had no energy to deal with another salesperson, so we went into Valliani only with the intention to quickly browse their ring designs. As we were looking around the store we actually found one ring design that was pretty close to what we wanted, but still not exactly checking all our boxes. We expressed our interests to a sales rep, informing her of some changes we would want to make to the design for it to be the perfect ring. She then deferred us to Keya who helped us for the remainder of the visit. Keya listened to what we wanted and simply said she could make the customization happen! She was even able to offer us the best price out of all the stores we visited - they even have 18K gold which most places didn't offer us! She made the buying experience easy and flawless the whole way. And unlike most of the salespeople we had worked with that day, she was not ingeniously trying to persuade us to buy the ring. Rosela and Sam are scammers! They will lie to you to make a sell that's all they care about! We told them how much we wanted to pay a month and they supposedly got us that deal, they filled out that contract on paper stating we would be making payments of $166 bimonthly which totals $340 a month, 2 wks later the bank/lender calls that we are to pay $340.78 bimonthly a whopping total of almost $700 a month! That's more than my car payment! These people are SCAMMERS! Stay far away from this jewelry store! Unless you are paying cash! and even that is iffy! they lowered the ring I wanted from $18k to $4k strange isn't it? and without a verification of authenticity who's to say if it's even a real diamond.. we're taking it to get appraised and if it isn't real they are getting sued! read more

What a nightmare it was to try to shop here. My husband and I were looking for a gold bracelet for myself but we also like to browse because if we see something we like, we'll buy it. Even if it's not what we were originally looking for. The saleswoman was so pushy and so all over me I wasn't even able to shop. Literally I could not browse the selection because she WOULD NOT STOP talking to me. Not even to take a breath. I understand letting us know any specials they have going on, and also pointing out they make their own jewelry that's fine. But then she latched on like a vulture and wouldn't let me look. Most jewelry sales people will at least offer moments of silence while you browse. Not here. She even asked me to take my Kate spade purse out of the bag to see what I had just purchased. So I did to be polite because I knew she was trying to make conversation and turn it into a sale but this is what I mean. I was so busy trying to be polite and play along with her that I didn't have a moment to look. Meanwhile my husband was moving along the store browsing and I was just trying to keep up with him but I was trapped by the sales lady. By the time he had looked over basically everything, I didn't have a chance yet to look myself. And the sales woman was pushing us to try and say what we were looking for to which we kept repeating we just wanted to see what they had. By the end of it she asked my husband again what he wanted to which he replied he wasn't really seeing anything he liked the design of (would've been nice if I could have looked too). To which she says to him "Are you kidding?" Like what? That was so rude. Then she proceeded to try and tell him he must be joking because they have such a big selection. At this point I was overwhelmed and completely over trying to shop there. We took our leave. Thankfully we didn't buy from here based on the reviews. Instead we had a much better experience at the Helzberg outlet accross the way and I found a beautiful gold and diamond bracelet there. You guys asked for a review so here it goes smh lol I walked into this store to purchase a pair of earrings for my birthday . I found a pair for $525 and I decided to go with those . When it was time to sign my leasing paperwork for the purchase , the woman there sent me a text with the lease agreement. Then she said void that and she'll send me another one . Cool. So she sends me another one and she changed the price to approx. $889 and thought I wouldn't notice. When I pointed it out and got irritated she immediately knew I saw her change the price and apologized to me for catching her trying to scam me . This gesture was very bold and very sneaky and I'm offended that she did that right infront of me lol . They need to be investigated asap because I'm sure I'm not the only one she's done it to . She was also training a young man there and showing him what she did right in front of me and thought I wasn't going to say anything .
