I've been here three times now and I am getting less impressed with each visit. My last visit was September 4th..The guy this last time kept up charging me for things they hadn't in the past. One item I understand he said they would to an upgrade and change filters for me and he rambled off about the engine filter and cabin would be checked and changed plus there is another filter that gets changed but is said it is included with the regular oil change price. So this guys checks my engine filter and it's not really dirt so it's not changed. I wait to see if he will check the cabin filter then (and ladies please know the cabin filter is behind your glove box inside your car ), he never did! I asked him since he never changed any filters why is he still charging me for a filter change. He couldn't really answer the question, then he said it was the oil filter he changed but I pointed out that that was said it was included and I was charged before . His excuse was that I had to have a special one . Lol .. but last time I didn't ok plus when asked what he used and why it was different he could explain and said I don't really know. Then he left my car cause I think he didn't like being questioned cause he also charged me for more oil which hadnt happen until this visit. When he passed me off to another guy I ask him to please check my tires cause I had asked the last guy to and he didn't . This guy goes oh he said he did already.. ok people I am sitting in the car the whole time !!! No he did not check anything . I just can't , sorry but I think this will be my last time here. read more

I've been going to this location for about six months, over that time I've noticed a high turnover of employees, and a younger crowd that is not very experienced. I've had my oil overfilled several times, and also not given reminder sticker several times. A lot of chit chatting and joking around between employees when my vehicle is in process of getting oil changed. And also I notice one employee doing one thing on my vehicle and then disappearing and then another employee coming over to my vehicle not knowing what's being done, disappearing and then another one coming up it's just not the way it should be done I would rather go to an older establishment with more experienced employees with out the high turnover and who are more serious about doing their job and not joking around the whole time, I never leave negative reviews but I felt this needed to be done. read more

My car needing an oil change asap and I was able to take it to Valvoline! I had never taken my car anywhere else except the dealership, but after this experience I probably will never go back to the dealership for my oil changes again! I am extremely excited about having a Valvoline shop in Clovis. I would make the trek all the way across town to the Fresno location or to even the one in Madera, just to get my oil changed. The staff in Clovis were friendly and helpful. They also assisted with resetting the oil change light. Service was efficient and I was out in 15 minutes. If I could give them zero stars I would. I took my Audi in for an oil change before taking a trip. I drove 6 hours and my car alerted me that I was very low on oil. Luckily I was almost at my destination and went to a Valvoline in the area to get topped off. After they inspected it they pretty much stated that the Valvoline in Clovis did a horrible job. The cap was loose causing massive amounts of oil to leak while I was driving and caused a big mess under my car. I was lucky nothing really bad happened to my car. I had to get a whole new oil change. I would not take my car here ever again. They do not know what they are doing. read more

Very, very disappointed. Each time it gets worst. Filters on vehicle not checked, nor shown to me. Fluids were never checked. 2 units shows min or empty of fuilds, and not tapped off either, claims they added wiper fluid, the unit is empty. Tire pressure was never checked, photos don't match what was on the receipt. Dude couldn't even scan the bar code for the vin#. I guess being female, they figured I didn't know better. Went to this location with a voucher for an oil change from Living Social through Groupon. They said the didn't accept the voucher. My fiancé had used the same voucher 2 days earlier at the exact same location without a problem. They said they did not do conventional oil changes. Again not true. There is quite a wait before you get in, but once you get in, the guys are super nice and fun. The oil change is reasonably priced if you have a coupon. The radiator fluid "exchange" was a bit pricey for what it was (siphon out old fluid and refill with fresh fluid.) read more

I have been a Valvoline customer for a couple of years and was happy when this location opened. I feel the service is consistently professional and thorough. They do a nice job of evaluating maintenance needs and making recommendations without being pushy or trying to upsell. I usually plan oil changes around when I receive coupons in the mail or via email. read more

$96 for an oil change on a 2018 Chevy Traverse and that was with a "coupon". I know if synthetic oil, but that's highway robbery. You can shear a sheep and it will come back to you again and again, but you can only skin a sheep once. Don't go here they are a total rip, plenty of other places on Clovis Ave. that will give you the right oil at about $70 and that's without a coupon. read more

The acting manager was doing just that! Acting! A jerk! I bought a Groupon a few months ago. When I went in for an oil change the technician told me my oil was too clean and come back the Groupon would still be valid. So I went a couple months later. This actor wouldn't recognize what I had purchased. Kept me there over an hour helping at least 6 customers that came after me. My health wasn't good and the stress this guy was giving me was uncalled for. I did nothing wrong. But because he wanted to show off to his peers he was very patronizing toward me. The others apologized for him. I meant to report him the next day but my health declined and I misplaced his manager's name and number. I will never give them another dollar. Find another place to spend your money, too. We're not on this earth long and as my grandfather always said - if you see trouble, go the other way. Shame on you Valvoline! read more
