Since EDH location couldn't do the transmission oil change, I called this location to inquire. Response - YES! On the phone narrated service can be done only Tuesday through Saturday between 10:30 to 2pm. And I gave them my car model and year to confirm the fluid. Yes- they had the flu I had to go SF on Saturday, I thought let me get this done prior to going for my trip. On Saturday morning right before driving 20 mins to this location, I called again. They said, you were the one that called yesterday. I responded yes. We do it here so come down and park under the no appointment sign. As instructed, I proceeded. They kept saying, the technician is on lunch then we need to check fluid. Waiting in the lobby- I come to find out, we need to get from next door. Then over 40 mins wait, we're getting from nearby store and someone is bringing it. As a mother, I have million things to do. And I hate waiting if not needed. Clear communication would have been appreciated since two calls from my side were made for clear expectation. From the bottom of my heart, I'm appreciative of their willingness to get from nearby store. That was very sweet of them. I give them 100% credit for that. Just had a slightly major issue with a locking gas cap on my 2016 GMC Terrain where the cap literally broke into almost a million pieces with the locked part of the cap still stuck on the vehicle. Called up and asked if they'd be able to remove it and they said to bring it by and they'd take a look. Brandon came out to look at the vehicle and within minutes had the cap off and my gas tank free to be filled again. Definitely love coming here every time because their staff really know what they're doing and give as little to no hassle as possible. They didn't even charge me for the service performed which is not how most shops operate, definitely recommend this facility to anyone in need of basic maintenance to more advanced repairs as I've never had a bad experience with this crew. read more

Do not choose this place. A couple of months after getting a $100+ oil change at Jeffy Lube Cameron Park, my 2017 vehicle started smoking while I was on a critical family day trip. Stopped at a dealership and found out that the oil level was almost 2x what it should have been, and it was dirty. The dealership's guess is that a JL employee added new oil without draining the old. They said it could have caused serious engine damage. So, I had the dealership change the oil (correctly this time), and they charged $55. It's pretty clear what the moral to this story is. read more

This is the slowest oil change place I have ever been to. If you need your oil changed here be prepared for it to take an hour and a half to two hours at least whether it's busy or not. The jiffy lube in el dorado hills only takes 20-30 minutes so in the end it's worth the drive. read more

No sense of urgency. Was told oil change would take an hour, two hours later still isn't done. The manager said they were short staffed and running a "one man team" yet I frequently observed three additional employees standing around, playing on their phones, and one eating... I understand the difficulty when businesses are understaffed but laziness doesn't leave me with a good taste in my mouth. read more

Friendly service. Synthetic oil change, air filter, rotated tires. One issue I saw was they said they washed my windows and they didn't. So that makes me question what did they do. I checked under the hood and there was quite a bit of oil around the filter. So I brought back and they said they forgot to clean up oil when they replaced. It looks ok now after driving for 20 miles. So the moral to the story is pay attention to what you are doing, because when you miss something, it makes the customer think you didn't do the work. Jiffy Lube had a bad rep a while back, but I still use them, but keep an eye out. At my Sacramento location they even have cameras in the bay above and below to help regain customer trust. read more

I had blown timing belt cover gasket failure. While they were not equipped to deal with the problem, they recommend a shop down the road.

After being jerked around by big O tires I finally called it's Jiffy Lube location and spoke to Codi, no was super helpful and knowledgeable! She was able to apply a discount which made their quote the best price I found and I was in and out with no wait in 1 hour where all the other shops were quoting 2.5-3 hours fastest. This jiffy lube is very friendly, employee Chelsea helped me get the exact service I wanted. She pulled up my account, gave me just a regular oil change, didn't try to up sell me, and it only took 20 minutes for the whole service. She was also very helpful in giving me the $5 off any oil change coupon as advertised online without any issues. I brought my Ford Fusion in for a routine Oil change, tire rotation/balance. They quickly called me to let me know that one of my tires had a screw in it and another one had a bulge of some sort. Instead of charging me for the four tire rotations, they instead charged me for one (which I insisted because they weren't going to charge me at all). I had my oil changed and they suggested a coolant top off. They overfilled the coolant causing it to overflow while I was 30 miles from home. They also used universal coolant in my car which requires FL22 coolant. I called to complain and they offered to pressure wash any mess that had been made by the overflow, but that wasn't helpful since it happened away from home. I didn't really feel like they were concerned at all that they caused my car to overflow all of its coolant causing me to be stranded with no way to get coolant at 10pm. read more

I took my 4Runner here for the second time (with this new one) for an oli change and replacement of the air filters. (cabin and engine) It took them quite a while to get the job done. The young man that greeted me seemed to be artificially energized. I found him a bit annoying because of this. It is about the entire experience and the young man on the register that day was on point and flawless in service and professionalism. What really sent me yelp was the condition of my 4Runner when it was done. It had just been washed the day before and is black so their hand prints and places where their oily clothing had touched the sides of the body where everywhere. On the inside when I went to put my receipt in the glove box I found they thrashed the things I had in my glove box all neatly packed. What I found is in the glove box photo i posted as well. I would never, ever, ever, ever go here again or recommend them to anyone. I have been using the Jiffy Lube in EDH for years, without incident. I thought it would be just the same to go to the one closer to my house but that was far from true. I'm not going to say that the employees were under the influence of anything but I'll bet they didn't just spend an hour crying to make their eyes that red. Regardless, I still trusted they knew what they were doing. However, I should have known better when the manager peeled out of the parking lot at stupid speeds and almost hit another car. Anyway, they did the oil change and per procedure they are supposed to walk you to your car and show you under the hood and whatnot...that didn't happen. We walked ourselves out and then stood there for a while before someone else realized the ball was dropped and ran over to assist us. Now the kicker - I filed my gas tank that day and by two days later, I was at a half of a tank. After 20 miles my gas gauge went down. Mind you, I had a Toyota Yaris, whose gas tank normally does not move until at least 80 miles. I knew it had to be my oil and I was really upset. My husband took it back and it was over a quart overfilled. That can not only affect your gas mileage but it could also hurt the car. So what did they do to remedy the situation? They offered me 15% off my next oil change. The same coupon I had already used to that oil change. They didn't offer to replace my wasted gas, refund the oil change, or give me a free oil change. Wrote this review on 4/14/2012: Based on three visits, I will give this location 2 stars. Why? First visit was neutral. Expected to be bombarded with offers. They also did not honor the discount advertised, nor was it written it couldn't be used for specific services. Boo to that. My second visit, I was told the car had no oil and the serpentine belt needed replacing. I arrived at Jiffy Lube from Tahoe. Obviously, there's oil in the car. After that visit, the car was brought to a Subaru specialist and they went over the vehicle. Serpentine belt was perfectly fine. At this point, I'm annoyed. I already sensed that they were trying to sell me on services. Visit #3 was the last straw. Brought in the car and was told the serpentine belt was fine. WTF. Really?! A miracle, you say! Plus, we asked not to have the windshield wiper fluid filled. It was filled. I'm all for convenience and supporting a business in my neighborhood, but holy hell. Obviously, tricking/lying to customers is an acceptable practice here. If you ever see a review of this place, from me, giving high marks... disregard it. read more

I wish I could give this place a big fat ZERO. One time, I took my truck in there. The guy is telling his buddy how having my tail gate down actually gets WORSE gas mileage. Whatever just change the oil. Next time I took my car there before I left for a road trip. During the road trip, I can't find my Ipod cord that plugs into my deck. To make a long story short, it disappeared. Never saw it again after that day. Lastly, my side kick TB took her car there. Looked like they took her used motor oil and cleaned her windows with it. AHAHA it's not that funny but seriously... This place has always had a negative stigma to it ever since Scott sold it to Jiffy Lube. It's a damn shame the one on Merrychase closed as well because that one was the best! I do NOT recommend and they've lost two customers (TB and I) and I tell peeps all the time NOT TO GO THERE. Just absolutely horrible customer service. I wish I could give negative stars. We brought my mom's truck in with a slow leak in the tire. They had my mom wait 1.5 hours, drove her truck off the lot and were gone over 30 minutes. Returned, parked it in the back and left it there with no communication to my waiting mother. She inquired after 1.5 hours and the man said, "What truck?" Went in the back said that nobody told him anything and they would get right on it. To come back 15 minutes later and say they couldn't fix the leak! What a waste of time! And where did you take her truck?!? On lunch break?!? Went straight to Goodyear and they fixed the leak in 10 minutes. Do not go to Jiffy EVER!!!! read more

Went in for an oil change a few months ago and here was the list of problems they gave me: Need to change air filter Need new tires Need to flush the transmission Brake fluid contaminated, needs to be flushed Battery "only running at 33%", should be replaced Oil leak I couldnt believe there were that many problems so I told them to leave it alone. Just went to my regular mechanic and came away with a clean bill! He said the only thing to note was that my front 2 tires should be replaced in about 3000 miles. This place is a joke and you should not trust anything they tell you! When I was in the parking lot of bel air I noticed that my truck had a flat tire. I drove over to jiffy lube and before I got out of my truck one of the guys came over to help. He aired up my tire and checked for anything that caused the flat although he couldn't see anything he suggested I go to the tire store and have them take it off and look Very nice and helpful guys working there Thank you!
