Internet buyers beware! The prices on their website look good, but they add $2300 in non-optional dealer installed accessories on ALL their vehicles. The salesman my husband was talking to, Brian, was helpful and sent him a price quote quickly. However, he was not interested in negotiating. After adding sales tax and the cost of financing  that $2300 in accessories you are spending nearly $3000. So, when you look at the prices on their website remember to add $3000. When we called them on it, they said "we're still the cheapest Kia dealer in town". We did not buy from them on principal. read more

Came in last week with my mom to purchase a vehicle. First i wanna start by saying this place had the inventory ! I was shocked. Yes we drove over an hour but it was well worth it. Just purchased a new 2023 Kia Sorrento from here. I am so pleased with this vehicle. It surpasses all of my expectations. I never considered buying a Sorrento or anything made by Kia. I originally had my eye on the Kia EV6, but when I saw the Sorrento I was drawn to it. Luckily the salesman Russell encouraged me to drive it as well as other models there just so I could make a choice I was truly comfortable with. All of the vehicles there were very nice, and I feel they have many to choose from that will cater to different preferences. Every person working there that I had to interact with during my purchase was phenomenal. They treated me like family especially Arnold the GM. The finance lady Delmy was so easy going, and answered any questions we had. I don't recommend this place at all. I purchased two cars I was offered three free oil changes. I did one free oil change I figure I'm still paying the car oil change should never expire since it was a part of the deal. The deal was actually for me to come on here and write a good review and no negative review, and since they will not honor my other two oil changes, I am going to speak the truth when I purchased my Kia, there was a problem with either the suspension or the shocks/struts I had them check it out and they lied to me and told me it was one of my little tools floating around in my car just because they didn't want to fix it. I had just bought it and they didn't wanna fix it. I spoke to a guy in service today. His name was Joelle. He was very nice very pleasant, my husband spoke to a guy named Edwin and he said he was kind of nice but not very helpful just told him yeah come on and come on in like whatever we don't live nearby Van Nuys so to drive over there and waste our gas and time is ridiculous. We only called to make sure that we can go ahead and get our deal still and to go in there and do our oil change. We were never told there's an expiration date, if it's three years you're not allowed to do an oil change that's ridiculous so they're lovely excuses it's not in the contract. We don't see it here. It's in the contract but they ask me. Do you have your contract? I have my contract. I'm just really shocked that they would sit there and lie to me well actually I'm not shocked because they lied to me before I guess I'm just shocked that everybody keeps lying here, so I'll be honest with you. I don't recommend this place at all if you want to get ripped off because somebody doesn't work there anymore than all the agreements that you had are out the door that's ridiculous. This is not a good place to do business with only if you want to get screwed over come here but if you wanna not get screwed over, make sure you go somewhere else BUT if you do decide to come here, bring a mechanic have him check your car completely otherwise you're gonna get screwed over. The two guys that I spoke to and finance didn't even give me their name. How unprofessional is that? It's so unprofessional that they don't want their name to be put out there they don't want anybody to know their name and they like to keep it a secret so unprofessional this place is beyond unprofessional, and just because my salesman Miguel doesn't work there anymore. Apparently the offers that were put on the table for the free oil changes went out the door as well, so no, this is not a good place to do business as well. He went above and beyond as well to get me some Clippers tix with his Manager Arnold comping for the tix as a gift for my experience here. Horrible car buying experience. RUN AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AS FAST AS YOU CAN. They will lie about EVERYTHING just so they can get you to come. I was being helped by JJ. We spoke for about a week before I made the decision to sell my current car and drive over 3.5 hours to come buy our new car. I asked every possible question under the sun and have pictures to prove. When we got there JJ was gone and had passed us off to someone else after promising us that everything was handled for a smooth and easy purchase. So NOT the case. They lied about so many things: damages done to the car, about putting new tires and brakes on the vehicle while they had it in their possession, having the vehicle ready when we got there since it was a 3.5 hr drive, how many keys the vehicle came with, the amount they were charging is for tax and so much more. The worst part was that we were basically screwed since we had already sold and had been looking for this specific car for months. We ended up buying because they said they would get the damages fixed and deliver the car to us ASAP but no later than early Sunday. Well, after having to miss work on Friday from having no vehicle our new car was deliever at 10pm Sunday night. Absolutely NOTHING about this experience was good. I purchased a vehicle there(never again), the car was filthy, dirty seats, carpet had dog hair in it, bugs in the light caps to name JUST a few and the dealership tried to charge ME to detail it! The dealer had me there past closing AND did NOT live up to what was posted online- kept telling me that was an online cost but the add clearly stated sale price no thing indicating other wise or would NOT have made an appointment to come test drive and purchase it! THIS WAS THE BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD!!! I have purchased 4 BMW's at 3 different dealers in LA and OC, and buying my Kia Soul was BY FAR the best car buying experience! From the initial contact with a sales rep, to finding the right car, the thorough explanation about my contract, to explaining how to operate my Kia Soul; the entire experience was TOP OF THE LINE! Now for the details. I discovered how FUN the Kia Soul was to drive when I rented it from Hertz. The Kia Soul has an EXCELLENT electronics system, and their back up camera is REALLY GOOD! The Sport Mode with a Moonroof makes it FUN TO DRIVE!!! There is also a detector if someone is in your blind spot or if you are veering off the lane. Driving the Kia Soul was definitely a PLEASANT SURPRISE! I rented the Kia Soul because my 2014 BMW 428i convertible had a tear in the rubber from the back window and got water damage. BMW was going to charge me $10K in repairs so I had no choice but to buy a new car. Since car prices have gone up substantially after COVID, I thought I would give the Kia Soul a try. I went online to the Kia Van Nuys dealer website and found the 2023 Kia Soul GT Line, which is their sporty Kia Soul. I inquired online via chat with an agent and was contacted within one minute from 3 Van Nuys Kia team members. I spoke to Charles on the phone, who was friendly and kind. I got my credit preapproved online, and asked if a team member would pick me up 30 minutes away. RJ the Sales Associate contacted me and arrived within 45 minutes. There was traffic on the way back to the dealer, but we had wonderful conversations and the drive went by fast. When I arrived at the dealer, the team had the car I was interested in ready for a test drive. The car looked and felt great. RJ was patient and accommodating and he let me check out all of the available car inventory to make sure I was comfortable with my choice. I decided to keep my initial Kia Soul I had my eye on. Once we worked out the final numbers and signed the contract, I met with Delma, the Finance Associate. Delma was pleasant, detail oriented, and made sure that every service I requested was added to my contract at a fair price. Afterwards, Charles met me outside, and he took his time to explain the navigation, the electronics, and any questions I had for operating my new Kia Soul. At the end he took pictures of me and sent me a cute video of my new car! Let me tell you, I have never had ANY BMW salesman sit with me and explain all the details on how to operate my new vehicle! BMW also never took my pictures and sent me a video either. Every Van Nuys Kia staff member greeted me with a smile. They were friendly, detail oriented, and professional.
