When she got there, he tried selling her on $1100 worth of services. After she refused them and waiting for 2 hours, the car was still not worked on. She left so upset and went somewhere else. I bought a kia rio 2021 last week and have been happy ever since I bought it. I was helped by a kind man named Ray who was very helpful and patient the whole time. With the many questions my mom and I had, Ray was very patient and understanding with everything. I had come in a couple weeks before buying the Rio and was actually thinking about purchasing a different car and Ray helped us that time as well. When my mom and I came back to get the Rio, Ray had remembered us; he never forgets a face! which was pretty cool. The "business owner" got on yelp to ask me to call the manager, as if that wasn't the FIRST thing I did-- I've already done that, and as it says in my review, there is ZERO RESPONSE. I also filed a complaint with corporate. I've done everything a customer should ever be expected to do to help themselves against scammers with the exception of filing a lawsuit. It's up to KIA to make it right, and they've had ample time. Perhaps if you are so "concerned" you should investigate what the heck is going on over at VAN NUYS KIA that they can't meet basic service needs, make good on their deals, or return found monies from vehicles they've acquired. read more

Recently got a service done here which I was super happy to have received, my engine had seized and got a replacement done under warranty in just a couple of days. The same day I pick up the "fixed" car, the light comes back on within hours of having A BRAND NEW ENGINE INSTALLED! Has a loss of power and won't rev past 2 rpm. So I take it back and find out that I have to pay 700 for a damaged sensor which wasn't damaged before. I was told that the Crankshaft sensor had gone bad which is WRITTEN on the paper work! I take the car home rather than pay the amount because a sensor replaced is an easy fix. So I fixed it myself and the car has the same problem, come to find out that the codes that were given to me were for a knock sensor and not a crankshaft sensor. When I call to verify the answer I was given was " My bad I wrote down the wrong name but I THINK it's the same service price as the crankshaft sensor replacement" how professional is that!? Just thought I'd share this story to let you know to search things for yourself because it seems like the service team is misinformed here and could possibly be charging you for the wrong things or adding problems to you car that weren't there before. At first it was a good buy because we got the car we wanted for a good price. We trade in our Honda Accord & told us they will send the check to our loan company to pay off the Honda but it's been 3 weeks since & nothing has been process. We have been calling to make sure the check has been sent out but it seems like they don't know or don't have a tracking number on it. It's so unprofessional for them not to have any information where the check has gone. We been calling everyday & they either tell us they will get back to us or not pick up. Sure enough They never get back at us we have to call again. Then I call my loan company to see if they have received a check and nope they have not. This will mess up my credit for sure. I am very furious with this dealership. Please think twice before you trade in a car for a new one with this dealership. read more

Incompetent staff is affecting my ability to get a car elsewhere. Sales rep had told me one price, finance manager comes and offers for another price. Before I can negotiate I learn that they already had enrolled me in a program where I would be purchasing the car with them. Now I have to jump through hoops to purchase a car elsewhere. It is also a small location with little parking. If you're planning on going with Kia, make the drive to Glendale where they actually will listen to you. read more
